If anyone is wondering about the 454 build I have her short block assembled. Waiting on a semi custom Clay Smith hyd roller cam to be ground for her. Hope to have it to me in another week or so. I went with his 229/241 grind.

Wow thanks for info on drip rails. I'm looking for inspiration, struggling with supply chain issues. Redoing 1982 k10. Looking for either 1985 newer hydro clutch assembly, hydraulic clutch kit, attempting replacement needed for tremic 4050...
I swapped an 86 GMC I had from auto over to hydraulic clutch with hydro boost from a C30. Easy swap. The holes were already pre-punched in the firewall for where to drill for the master cylinder bore and the mount holes. Indefinitely recommend the hydraulic clutch and hydro boost set up. I found my pedal and hydro boost assembly for $50 out of a landscaping truck in the junk yard.
