- Hi guys, welcome to another episode of "Mix it Up May"! Today, I'm bringing back one of my favorite projects, and I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I last made this! We're crafting an accordion ephemera holder using my digital kit "Postal" and just a few other simple items. This project is relatively easy, so everyone can join in and create something beautiful.

"Postal" comes in two sizes: US Letter and A4, so make sure to download the correct size for your needs. You can find the links here to purchase or download these kits on my KoFi page.

This kit is fabulous! And the project is beautiful! My dad was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service so these papers strike the nostalgia part of my heart 🙂 Can hardly wait to use them in a special tribute to my dad.

By the way, I know exactly what you mean when you interchange harmonica with accordion. I am so grateful you speak English in your videos. I’ve watched others who don’t and I have to really pay attention and take notes. I do wish I were fluent in another language. I’m spoiled that I haven’t had to (did take a couple years of German in school), but I traveled internationally for work and honestly, Spanish would’ve been very helpful to know. This is my favorite accordion/harmonica project yet, I love it! Maybe you keep thinking about frogs and coocoo clocks because you need to do a project with them 😂. Do you still have your lil house guest? Salt-n-pepper Push It was a good song!!! I started cracking up laughing not at you but because it was so random and I forgot about that song I love that you know so many songs from the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. You are just the sweetest for giving us permission to sell our projects with your papers thank you so much for being so kind all the time. ❤

This came out beautifully. I made small versions of these the width of Tim Holtz’s backdrops using a piece of kraft paper then decorated it with the Christmas backdrops. They make great gifts. I watched multiple videos, probably one of yours too, before making them. You are so kind to allow people to use parts of your digitals in their collages as you said. ❤

wat is deze accordion holder weer mooi geworden maar dat kan ook niet anders met je mooie digikit en met mooi atlas papier! en wat fijn dat je a.s zondag de kleurtjes laat zien van versafine. en dat je je bevindingen verteld van allerlei inkten...altijd leerzaam. bedankt voor de leuke en mooie idee weer , en wat fijn dat de muis die daisy mee nam naar binnen toch weer naar buiten is ontsnapt...heel fijn weekend gewenst en geniet van het mooie weer! 🤗😘😊

I absolutely love this postal kit. I used it to make a version of the paper bag journal from the other day…not quite done yet, but it looks soooo good already. I can’t wait to try this project. I am a novice crafter and love how encouraging you are in your videos.

Fab project! Love this and going to try! I've started making similar sized ones (with accordion sides) as a freebie to go with JJs that I sell. I put scraps in and a leftover bits/bobs from the project as a sort of "starter muse". Love the idea of putting accordion pockets in rather that just sides. And a great use of larger book pages that aren't getting used up. Thank you darling! 🥰

I love this.😊 Made 2 last year for my Mr Tim Holtz ephemera...I like to keep mine in the original packaging, so i adapted the measurements to accommodate that. Looks so good with all the panels decorated. I will have to make another using your fabulous Postal digital ❤ TFS❤

Oh! I needed this! Think I'm going to make mine longer, though, because I need something to hold scraps from your digital kits. Right now I'm just using junk mail envelopes... guess what my accordion folder insides will be made from!

@@SevenplazaCreative Oh my gosh, I had to make it sooner rather than later, because I was ripping up junk mail emvelopes to use their insides for a masterboard (not my idea, but I love it) and discovered that I got components out of the deal! Lots of windows, lots of postage, and even some labels like "Confidential!" and "please recycle"! So I had to stop everything and make a temporary ephemera holder just to corral all the pieces. Guess I'll decorate it later. I tied it shut with a ribbon I hadn't put away yet, and now my craft table is tidier... until I finish lunch and get back to work. 😁

Hi Margareth ! Thanks again for the wonderful video ! My list of things to craft is longer and longer. Wanted to thank you too for the envelope, and the blue, white and red baker twine to close it ❤ I received with my crafts supplies from doeding.
