These elevators are really fast, I had seen an EMCH elevator which replaces a Schindler which was also equipped with an emergency ladder. in the towers it has normally become a mandatory standard for at least one elevator per building but it seems to me that many builders do not install one during replacements anyway I only saw EMCH and once a Schindler with ladders but never from other manufacturers. Nice Video ;D
Thank you! Fireman's lifts are generally mandatory for high-rise buildings. The definition in Switzerland is that the building must be at least 30 meters tall. Mandatory in this case mans that one must be installed when the lifts are modernised or replaced. I have seen Fireman's lifts from Emch and Schindler of course, as well as AS Aufzüge (which is basically Schindler lol) but also from Norm Aufzüge (which is just generic) and I have even seen GeN2s as a fireman's lift. I tend to say that they have become a thing since about 2010, older lift installations or groups do not seem to include fireman's lifts. Another regulation on fireman's lifts is that they must stop on all floors and should have a capacity of at least 1000 kg, although I have already seen a few that only have 800kg, probably because the shaft is too small for a bigger lift.
I'm in love with this lift and I don't know how many times I watched it. I think it's a great example how to replace an older lift. Great video.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoy it!
Tolles Video! Sehr gut gemacht!
Danke dir!
Mooi filmpje weer 👍
Thank you!
