Using flash I went through the same struggle trying to get the stars to show up consistently/ it was hit or miss with the way the flash happened to hit the sequins / outfit just right. Using a constant LED with hard light reflector made the outfit light up like crazy and was quite a bit more predictable with getting the stars to show up. Great video ! 🔥
If I am not mistaken it is the White Pro. They sent it to me to review years ago.. don't know what happened to me ever reviewing it though but it is solid.
Yes I have the same set :) but never use them in studio I have use them outdoors like you intro in heavy back light situations. Great video all alround bro. 👊🏾 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I have the Tiffen 4 point one used it with continuous light with the mylar background and the model wore a sequence dress. Oh and a disco ball on the floor. I wished I came across the K&F version in my search that Tiffen was 70+ dollars.😂
I had the same experience trying to find the right lighting conditions for these filters. One other thing to note is that they can stick to other filters if you stack them. I think these are aluminium. I had to use hot water and filter pliers to get one off of a Zeiss polarizer. However, they didn't stick to any of the magnesium step-up rings.
Mine got stuck on my lens and let me put you on to what I did to get it off.. I was scared to because it was on my favorite most expensive lens lol.. gaff tape.. just put it around it not on the actual lens part and it comes straight off. If a filter ever gets stuck just use gaff tape

I will have to try that!
I just ordered the K&F white mist and shimmer filter for a shoot this Saturday. Passed on the starburst but glad you got your hands on it to try!
All of my talking head videos I use the Pro Mist Filter. I love it but it does make images softer. It is definitely a must have.
@ you use the white pro mist or black? I use the 1/4 black pro mist for my talking head videos now

Thank you! it was a struggle because that light has to hit the clothes the right way for the effect but I will experiment more with it outside
