I just watched this gem for the first time AT THE THEATER because it was re-released as part of a special WB event, and man, what an *experience* it was! I loved every second of it. The timeless B&W cinematography and Classic Hollywood orchestra made me feel like I was a person going to the movies in the 1940s. I was low-key expecting it to be somewhat of a drag, dated, but I was shocked, SHOCKED, at how much I genuinely enjoyed it. The cherry on top was that I surprised my grandma by taking her with me and she had no idea what we were going to watch until the title card came up. 10/10
You know, I think you should make more of these.

I just saw '"Casablanca" in Concert,' for the 1st time yesterday (2/13/22) here in Chicago and the score was played by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra! Totally immersive experience as I was in the first row and WHAT AN EXPERIENCE IT WAS??! Such a great time to see a classic of American cinema, and with such a seasoned audience. Thank you for this Modern Trailer!!!

First dog day afternoon then grumpy old man and now this classic . HBO max does have a knack of making good trailer from old classics
I think I’m definitely a Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman fan because of this film! It’s thrills, romance and adventure all with a World War II backdrop!
I fall in love every time with the simplicity of its scale! It feels so big, yet it all takes place in one location! With the exception of the flashbacks of course..
Before I looked it up, I was going to say it felt very much like a play! I would’ve loved to have seen a live performance of this! It feels so beautiful constructed with its characters and performances and all I did remember from this film was how well I thought it would play on stage! Funny coincidence it actually started out as one!
Michael Curtiz created a magnificent atmosphere and world within this film that radiates with life. It feels almost like “Blade Runner” took inspiration from this or the cantina scenes in “Star Wars”. In the most respectful way possible! I’m just pointing out what I think could be some of the influence this film has had on others.
Humphrey Bogart is pretty great in this one. It’s where I first saw him and wanted to see the rest of his work. He really is the original ‘Han Solo’, playing both sides to some degree!
Dooley Wilson is another favorite part of this film for me! The entire music in this film is just… timeless. Claude Raines is exciting to watch! No one brings down the film for me!
Ingrid Bergman is magnificent in this! I've dived more into her filmography than anyone else's since! This still remains my favorite performance of hers so far.
I don’t think I could relate this to this film as much until I got older. Until I saw love and saw love leave. The heart needed growing before I could understand some of the things the characters had gone or were going through. Humphrey and Ingrid radiate those themes through their performances and not until now have I fallen so in love with this movie!
This is a really good trailer. Love the Art Deco designs of the 1940s in everything very stylish period. Its not an exageration to say America was at its best in the 1940s.
After Pearl Harbor, the nation pulled together for a common goal.

@@incentiveincentive1899 The word transgender wasn't even coined until 1965. I don't think I heard it used until at least the mid 90s. Times were different then and on the whole better.
@@aclark903 depends on who you were. I haven’t experienced both times, obviously, but from what I do know, I think that, as a woman, I prefer these times.
This is amazing! Do more of these please! This is how you get the younger audience to watch older movies when you frame them like this!they will feel excited and pulled into the story already instead of just assuming they will be boring! Can’t wait for a Double Indemnity or Maltese Falcon trailerrrrr😄

I make trailers for my favorite movies and right now I'm working on Casablanca... I don't know if I can top this version! It's updated, but not obnoxiously modern. Just a really well-crafted trailer.

1. Cartoon Network is not the one behind the original Teen Titans show, it is Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment
2. Teen Titans will never return for season 6, the only way for it is a comic book series like Invader Zim

A masterpiece. Thankfully, there are no plans to release the colourised version on DVD or Blu-Ray, and every attempt to remake this classic has never progressed beyond a pitch (ie. Madonna wanting to remake this opposite Ashton Kutcher as Rick, and the last time I heard of a potential remake was when Gigli was on the cusp of being released).

Is HBO Max going to be available world wide? If so, is it going to be like Netflix's system, like not all HBO Max content will be available for example in Asian market? I hope it's going to be all content what you offer that is available to US market. Or if you think that it might be too pricey for Asian market why not make a tier level pricing. If a customer would like to have full access of contents then pay this price. Limited access lower price. At least it should be available and all your other international shows (e.g. European, Asian & Latin America) available then you can reach more market.

In my respectable opinion, it wouldn't be taken as seriously now compared to when it was released. Because if the movie was released now, it would probably be seen as another movie, and people probably wouldn't have liked/understood the pace it went. One of the reasons why it was so impactful was that it was relevant to the issues of its time. Another reason is the way the actors portray the characters.

It's like my childhood. My city was cheap and only showed old movies from that era. I grew up with them. It's like I grew up in the 30s and 40s rather than the 60s and 70s. It was going back and experiencing my parents' childhood.
HBO max will have doctor who everything else is just icing on the cake
If you have to have the subtitles, at least get them right. Can you imagine if Ilsa actually said "The rake I knew in Paris, I could tell him, he would understand." ... It's the RICK she knew before! She wouldn't have referred to the man she knew as a RAKE!
