This sounds like Sicilienne by Maria Theresia Von Paradis, just a different take. Edit: Wikipedia is claiming she didn't write Sicilienne, but it was a hoax by Samuel Dushkin. Hmm.
The two pieces do sound very similar! Wikipedia claims that the Paradis Sicilienne is based on the Weber Larghetto. I thought Dushkin was the arranger of the Paradis Sicilienne, but I wasn't aware that he may have been the composer. Interesting! Whoever composed it knew how to write a gorgeous piece:)
