Thanks Jeff. The Dolomites are indeed beautiful, very different to the rest of the Alpes. Pretty intimidating. Well worth the ride!

Great race Rafael! I did the 120k race this year (I managed to film that race a bit) - my second one. I just love the race, the amazing Dolomites and the whole area. I might race the 80k race in the future. I heard that the race course is spectacular as well. I had the "plasure" to experience the knee issue that you had as well. I cured mine with a 100 mile race in Istria. My best guess is that my problem was the weak glutes and the overall weak core if compared with my legs that created a huge strength imbalance with muscles, ligaments and joints. Thankfully, I managed to get more balance but my UTMB did't went well due to GI distress. In that particular occasion there was unfortunately little to be done. I did 15k with more or less just fluids and nothing more. Crazy sport indeed, but we love it! :)

Awesome that you did the 120k! Congrats! Beautiful race indeed! Love that region!! Good to hear you sorted the knee issue! Not easy to manage those problems! But sorry to hear about UTMB… several people had issues… many vomiting… was a tough but beautiful experience. Thanks for dropping a message here 🙌

well done! i loved the part of the soul fire burning all pain, all obstacles. It is main reason i started running and did my first ultra-maraton this year to find more of my inner strenght and stop quitting quickly in different areas of life. You did amazing to manage your mind and run so many km inspite of pain. It would have been very easy to quit.
