Thank you for sharing your gorgeous cinematography with us! From Colorado to Chamonix and the Dolomites, you have shared a wonderfully rigorous and inspiring summer of running. Venice was the proverbial "icing on the cake!" Beautiful!
Michael, the production quality of your videos is certainly the best out there amongst any running channels on YT. Congratulations and keep the good stuff coming for us.
Beautifully shot as always. Between this video and the two on the Alta Via 2 from Mediocre Amateur, I feel I’ll be planning my own trip to the Dolomites soon! Thanks for sharing this incredible experience with us.
Hey Michael thank you for this fantastic content it’s always quite moving when a person you admire shows such positive appreciation and amusement for your own homeland ❤ I hope to come run in Chicago one day!
Also I’m so glad you visited Dolomites and Venice this time of the year, when high summer is gone and not many crowds around! As far as I’m aware Adidas couldn’t have picked a better month 😊
Seeing and running in the Dolomites is amazing the views and atmosphere is amazing. Hard to return to road running after this epic training camp/training. I vote for Kofuzi to do Leadville or Hard Rock in 2024….Lets Go 🤙🏽 on another note this video was wonderful and amazing to watch, thanks for the content.
Glad to see you here in Italy and happy you appreciate the stunning Dolomiti and those unique views. Came back as you wish, you’ll be always welcome! 👋🏻
The adidas performance prescription eyewear looked much nicer than the Oakley's in the old days. The problem once I take them off, I'm blind so I need to have my regular eye glass around at all times. Nice adidas trail shoes and gear, Ko!
Great footage! I did pretty much the same pairing Dolomites & Venice last year. Dolomites were spectacular! Venice was quite unique but disappointing- too many US tourists for my taste.
Had lasik more than a decade ago and no longer need glasses, but that Adidas running vest looks so nice! Have yet to see it available for sale anywhere…
So amazing - I want to get to the Dolomites some day for sure. I have a few questions on the eyeware actually I think I need a pair of glasses for running - would be great if it was more transition so I could wear them in the evening as well. I told you running Venice was so cool in the morning!
@@kofuzi I would rather not so much. I want to more be able to run in them more in twilight and even not worry as it gets dark. I just can’t do contacts have tried and want to get a pair of glasses but woukd love if they transitioned a bit
Each was memorable in its own way. Colorado was the most challenging, particularly because of the altitude. Chamonix had a great race story to it Dolomites was a pure run adventure
Damn it, I want to go back! We did a very similar trip Sept 2021. Hit up 4 rifugios near Tre Cime di Lavaredo - did a big loop through much of the course of Lavaredo 120K. This past July we were over in the Valle d'Aosta area near Mont Blanc (well before the UTMB insanity). My family is from Veneto - basically where you were. I try to go every year, it's such an amazing place. I also love Venice even if it can be tourist hell. There is no other place like it in the world. I hope you enjoyed it! The other incredible place to visit in Italy is Bolzano area. And you can't go wrong in Interlaken, Switzerland. That place is insanely beautiful. Food in Switzerland is pretty mediocre and very expensive but their mountains are👌
Loved the video and had a little chuckle about the not knowing Venice was only canals and walkways (definitely not like Venice California or Venice Florida that's for sure). That is why it floods so often now. Sea rise and a little bit of sinking each year. My mother was Italian so I have had the good fortune of spending a lot of time all over Italy. Even ran the Rome Marathon this year. Epic! Hats off to you for handling that altitude in the Dolomites. How did you feel about the Adidas Eyewear (glasses wearing runner here too)?
my runner's weekend videos tend to be about the adventures and rarely about the products. for example, the trip was about the glasses. I didn't comment once about the glasses in this video
Funny that you passed by Museo Correr @ 20:15. Correr means "to run" in Portuguese, a happy coincidence. BTW the museum name refers to the founder's last name. In Italian "to run" spells "correre", still close tho.
I apologize for the question if you’ve already answered, what is the name off the sunglasses you had the opportunity to test that include the insert system? Edit: found your answer. Awesome video, your channel is one of my greatest motivations.
Terrex Soulstride Flow GTX. I was worried that the lugs wouldn’t be deep enough, but they were great. A decent amount of room for foot swelling throughout the day, but still snug enough for the technical stuff. The upper material was not as unforgiving as some other Terrex shoes I’ve tried, so it was overall a good choice for the conditions. I would probably want something a bit softer if the terrain were more runnable though
Great view, great music too
Thanks!

It was a full summer!
WOW! thanks for putting this together its remarkable, joyous, ........ simply beautiful
a trip of a lifetime
Looks like you are getting ready for next years utmb 😁
I will be well prepared to spectate
To spectate your own dominance of them there european hills they claim are mountains.

aw yes, autumn in the Dolomites, that's heaven on earth!

Agreed, by a country mile - superb production, and the music for this particular one was on point.
thank you so much 🙏
My favourite runner’s weekend ever. What a stunning place.🤩
it was so beautiful
@@kofuzi...and thanks to the prescription specs, you could see all that beauty!
Thanks for the touristy vibe. Great tour of Venice for those of us not likely to visit there!
I never thought I would want to visit in person (seemed too touristy). now, it's one of the few places in the world I'd go to a second time
Soundtrack is fire and so is the scenery
thank you!

Those Mediocre Amateur videos were superb!
thank you
Man oh man... you're one lucky guy. The things you've seen and the places you've been. Couldn't be happier for you and ever so slightly jealous.
Italy looks amazing!!!
it really is

it was a good combination
@kofuzi glorious adventure and absolute testament to your storytelling. 👏
Excellent video..thank you!

Why not both, or add UTMB and do the triple. Heck, if Courtney can do it....
Maybe one of the best videos you've ever made ! Congrats kofuzi!

Great video! Those glasses look sick 👌🏼
The mountain view is just.. WOW! ❤ reminds of The Hobbit / LOTR
I know the word, epic, gets thrown around a lot, but it seems to apply here
More like Runner's Week. ;D Production quality is so great.

Much more interesting than all those shoes.
Absolutely epic views
Such a great trip. Was hoping you’d have been there too
@@kofuzi I went with Echos last year to Sedona. Their trip planning is elite.
The dog barking really shatters the illusion of the ADR at 15:35. 😆 Great video as always!!!

Great content as always. Question; was this Alta Via 1 or 2?
Gorgeous visuals and storytelling as always. How were their prescription glasses? I've had nothing but bad luck and miss sunglasses so much.
It’s an insert system, which I thought was interesting. I can use the same rx insert in these or if I want a darker shade, I can switch out

@kofuzi which adidas sunglasses model did u wear during the mountain runs and the Venice run?
SP0088 or SP0089, I believe. one of those two numbers
