Total agreement, i was killing batteries L and R. Great video.
I love my now old ISDT T8 with a 24v bench supply,absolute beast for what I do and at this point I haven even scratched the surface of out-growing it but this will more then likely be my next charger and will be at the top of the list for a recommendation!!! simply because you will never outgrow it and the easy of use/reliability/power are what you can count on for the rest of your RCing career.

I have batteries I can charge at 800 amps, 7s with 2/0 double cables from them, I use chargers like this to balance, and slow charge ! This is a cool charger, I just killed a t8, bought a little Q8, I was short on cash, I may get one of these! I would like regenerative discharge!

@@BASSstarlet the cells are capable of being charged at 800amps, total. But my solar can only do around 225 amps, it's a battery powered house by the way, over 1000ah
So, each port can do 8 cells. Does it have separate balance connectors on each side. I’m think I can make a rig for eight li-ion 18650 cells with balance for each side and charge/discharge/storage 16 cells at once. I will have to look at the specs. My benchpower supply will put out 300 watts for this charging. I’m glad to see they removed that jog wheel, it’s a little sensitive sometimes. Touch screen looks much better.I hope your staying safe in these weird times, Scott

I love my iSDT charger. I use the 608ac. It doesn't put out as many amps but it fits my needs and without the power supply it's pocket size so takes up no real space in my bag. However the p30 Iooks tempting.

I would definitely be interested in one of these. Right now I'm charging one at a time because I'm terrified of the prospect of using a balance board. Still kinda new and I don't fully understand everything that comes along with lipo charging without severe fire risk. Thanks for this video.!
Balance boards basically turn your batteries into a bigger capacity, so say you have 5 6s 5000mah batteries you can charge them as a single 25000mah batteries. Just dont mix cell counts say 5s with 6s for example and make sure the voltages of each batteries are within 0.04v and the capacity is the same
The toolkit rc m6d will also do the "combine the power of both channels into one" trick

Quick question on an issue with my bebop2... I've never crashed it I've never gotten it wet I've never over discharge the batteries or anything I even tested the batteries with a multimeter and all the scales are balanced but the Drone will not turn on the red LED in the back will not turn the drone on do you think you can help

what does this charger do better then the ToolkitRC M6D? expect the higher wattage?
My M6D is a pita currently, the scroll wheel sticks down, then releases when IT wants. Anyone know of a cure for this? It's only 7 weeks old!

Just received this charger and connected it via bluetooth to the app. Then I did a firmware update and now wireless (bt) option is no longer in the menu on the unit. Anyone else experience this after firmware update? Also I highly recommend updating firmware via usb cable as it took me 3 tries via phone.

To get the most out of it. You would need a 24v 1500w power supply. 2 x 12v 62.5A server power supply's will work best.
having more than 10 lipos on me when i go flying, i wont take any other charger that only does 2 at a time no matter how good it is

As long as it’s over 10v. It would have to be a good battery supply
