    Hey Trevor, the trails in this video are a walk in the park for this tire. Take your new tire and that S18 to Snowhill and let's see some more videos. Thumbs up!

      Buckle up, the adventure is about to begin!
      I had to wait 6 months when I pre-ordered mine because of delays and then a recall, but I was able to snag a used 16X to learn how to ride in the meantime last fall.

    Im 74 and want to upgrade from my v8f to the v11 only for a smoother ride. The old back suffers from some bouncing. Think i am making the right choice?

    • @TrevorBarone
      @TrevorBarone  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suspension is a huge game changer. I think the V11 has sorted out bearing issues in their recent batches. For MTB trails I would not recommend the V11 over the S18, but if you are predominantly doing street and maybe some grass, the extra battery is worth it compared to the inferior suspension design of the V11.

    • @lilkirch
      @lilkirch 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TrevorBarone pretty much this.. not enough torque and with the longer board and stance it's too easy to put too much weight over the motor. Dont even care about the top speed. 22 is plenty fast for me.. but more torque would be awesome

    • @TrevorBarone
      @TrevorBarone  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lilkirch yes exactly. 20 mph is already blazing fast on any real single track. The crappy stock batteries hold them back from being able to climb even the most modest of hills. If there are roots or bumps then forget about it.
      CBXR is a step in the right direction, but 900 WH or 1200 WH is what is really needed. Maybe a higher watt motor too, but I don’t think that will ever happen due to legalities of anything beyond 750 Nominal Watt devices in most states.
