I am a Leica-holic. I have at least 30, plus numerous lenses. It's a disease, but one with interest, enjoyment, satisfaction and, like it or not, investment value (other than a few digital ones).
Well said!
Nice collection there, you almost cover full line up of digital M from M9-M11. (though M8 is not a full frame, but trust me, try shoot an M8 without IR filter on a lens, you will be amazed)
I know the feeling, I was there before, but unlike you, I own maximum 3 Leica at a time. At one moment, I have M10-p, M3 and MP altogether. Leica is kinda special, you will find an excuse to buy it if you want it, thinking I will use this camera in this situation, that camera in that situation. And one more thing, Leica is a really nice toy to play with, a very nice eye candy to look at too.
I know someone might judge you by the GAS you have or even how your photography is not good enough to justify owning such amount of very expensive photographic gears. I would say, hey come one, at the end of the day, not everyone have to take world class photos to be able to qualify to use a Leica camera. For me, photography is my hobby, and I want a nice tool doing my hobby, nothing wrong with that.
Now I end up only keeping my M10p and M3.
By the way, I was also want to make some TH-cam video about street photography in HK too, but end up into a fishing channel, hahahahahaaaaaa, you might check out my POV clips on some of my very first movie on my TH-cam.

Very nice channel and thanks for your advice !
M8 without IR filter…. Seems something interesting worth looking at…. Maybe camera number 8? 🤣
I had hoped to resist the bug, but failed dismally. I have a MA, a Q2 and a R7, looking for a good M10R but have not found one in HK yet. I do find buying in Japan better than HK where I never feel that confident. I do think you should look at an R, particularly an R6, the lenses are amazing and much cheaper than M lenses at the moment. It would round off your collection for the time being!!!
Yes the r lenses are criminally under rated and underpriced ! Especially if you consider cameras like SL….. the r lenses are a steal!
It started with the m6 and then I found a deal on an m10 I couldn’t pass up. Just when I thought I was done another deal from a friend on an m10m and it’s become my favorite m 😄🤘🏽 I got them all about a year apart from each other in 3 years.
Yup that’s the bug right there
I’ve got it too 😂 M3, M5, M6 reissue, M8, M11-P and 2Q Monochrom
you’re in it deep too!
@@threeamigoshkdefinitely… I want them all haha
Tell me which Leica lens gives the most unique character?
For me it’s gotta be the 35mm summilux pre ASPH
Haven’t tried the Q3?
Personally don’t own the q3 myself but played with it a few times … currently own the Fuji x100 series and have been tempted a few times to make the switch
That Being said, the Fuji is marvellous for what it is already and I’m still trying to find reasons to get a Q 😵💫
Just put a Voigtlander on a Nikon FM2. Save yourself some money. The lens is all that matters.
Also, composition content and light is everything in a photo. Doesn't matter if the camera cost 6 grand or 200 dollars. If the photographer doesn't have a good eye and actually make photos instead of taking them, who cares?
Absolutely right! at the end of the day the camera is just a tool!
Camera is a tool, but also an object that inspires you, makes you want to pick it up and shoot more.
@@ItisBean Yep, and a Nikon FM2n in black with a Voigtlander 40mm is about as inspiring as it gets. For FAR less than 6 grand.
I definitely love how solid the Nikon feels - haven’t tried any voigtlander 50mm lenses tho
@@threeamigoshk The 40mm F2 is a great one to try.
Short answer: by having too much money
Countless people are homeless, hopeless and helpless, but we can afford to own 7 Leicas. Revolution is coming. This is why.
Completely irrelevant.
