@4:17 every older jd450 I've seen has a crack there in that exact spot on the C-frame the wide track models have same c-frame with a wider blade they will have grand canyon cracks everywhere.
I looked at a 550 one time that wasn’t cracked yet. It had low hours and the man only wanted $10,000 for it. It was really well maintained but had transmission issues. A guy I know got it and had it fixed for about $4,000 and works great now.
