    I like the build of this tool much more than diacamping stuff. It's much more comparable to what Leatherman and Gerber does. Everything snap's into place, the pliers/scissors lock open and have the spring action when needed. This is an American quality tool!

    Lacks drivers which for many people is the most used tools in the set. Seems like a specialty tool geared toward rescue.

    That is a really impressive tool, I love the looks and it seems like the main tools are very functional, but if I had to nitpick I wish they had managed to squeeze in a bit holder and replaced the saw with a good file, then maybe replace the locking screwdriver with an awl/scraper combo.
    Still great to see more innovation in the multitool world.

    As a volunteer firefighter, I would definitely consider swapping my free p4 for this in my bunker gear. I carry a dedicated tool for almost all the tasks I could use a multitool for, my multitool becomes a redundancy for all my dedicated tools. This tool crosses just about everything off the list for a first responder

I'm really impressed with the quality as it was my main concern, in particular the medical shears: they may be a little short but they are fully functional, so I'll be happy to use them on the job. I like the short sheepsfoot blade, I'm not fond of wielding long pointy items around people. At the moment, I carry a Wave and a pair of shears on my belt, so this one will replace both.

    I would have liked to see a philips 2 driver on there, but otherwise I think this looks excellent! I’m definitely getting one!
    I think I’d swap out the belt cutter for the ph2 bit, because I think the shears would be way faster to use in an emergency situation than fiddling out the little belt cutter. I’ll give this a solid 9,5 out of 10. 👍👍

    Nextool I like as a good knock about tool make I am not afraid to use. They make a full size non locking blade multitool. Although the blade is more than 3 inches you can easily reduce it to a nice sheep’s foot. Nextorch is related or different company? I am glad there’s growth and competition with Roxon who are doing amazing stuff. Enjoy your videos and calling attention to new tools. Thank you!

  • @happylittletools
    @happylittletools 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I gotta say, my most used tool on my multitool is scissors. My second most tool is the plierhead. And when I need the plierhead, I need a small long needlenose. So there is a lot I like about this tool. But it is definitely a specialized tool that is incredibly expensive. It looks incredibly well thought out and made!
    The cutting power of those scissors is most certainly mostly because of the micro-serrations I see. But it is likely just a well made tool too!

    Yay for the scissors (they seem to perform really well) and the pliers, mixed feelings about the length of the saw more than the knife, the handcuff cutter is just... why? It has a great all-round shear on it, why would I want to use this tool instead? to not wear down the scissors? I would assume the replacable wirecutters would cut them just fine as well no? No Phillips, nothing that can be made into a bitholder, no file, not even for nails, no metal saw/narrow file... but instead a seatbelt cutter on top of the main rescue scissors on top of the "handcuff cutter"? Not entirely sure whom this is made for, seems more like first responders (who need to cut handcuffs so often they need a dedicated tool for it?) - I think it has some really good aspects but not the right tool selection for me. ^^

    I would buy this tool if they removed the saw and the strap cutter and added a glass breaker. You show that the shears can cut through the strap so I would use that as a seatbelt cutter. This tool appears to lean more towards Medical based so I don't know why you would need a saw either. Then reduce the price for having less tools and you have a winner. Other than those things, I think it's a nice tool pliers are always handy, so is a knife in an emergency. Flat head screwdriver gets most screws. Safety scissors are always great to have. Overall it looks nice

    With the decent quality offerings by Birbury and similar for $40 or less, I fail to see the appeal of a $100 Chinese multitool. The biggest issue for me would be long term service/repairability...at the price point I'm not willing to risk that much on a newcomer. I'd rather buy a used proven tool and a cheaper backup.
