Can't count the times the slim pliers saved me cuz I was able to grab something in a narrow spot. Loved to have them on my keys and regrett gifting it to my ex. Now they go for 150 second hand
I carry a SAK Rambler in my 5th pocket everyday for years now I even have backups for when I lose them or they fall apart in the washing machine. I use the flat head, Phillips, and toothpick more than my $500+ folders! Also, if you guys did an outdoors review once a month or so I think most of us subscribers would definitely watch it. This is the only knife related channel I watch EVERY video that is put out. Thanks for the great content!
The powerpint is amazing. Ive had a bunch of mini multitools, and they all felt like mini multitools. The powerpint is mini, but its not really lacking anything. Those pliers can get a serious grip on stuff, and if you carry a cheao bit extender ans some bits in your bag, you can get a lot of work done with it. I stopped carrying a full size multitool because of it.
I found a double ended bit with flats out to the end that gives PowerPint a #2 Philips and a ¼" flat and you could put it in your wallet. I also wrapped 2 jigsaw blades in paper in the wallet that work on it. Still looking at options but my PowerPint kit is pretty capable.
You should do a segment on Mini folders too (strictly knives). I have a bunch of mini folders that I love too. I always carry one in the tiny pocket above your regular jeans pocket along with a regular size folder clipped on my pocket. I wish companies made more Mini sized folders. They're fun to have just for simple package opening purposes.
The Ruike S11 is a pretty nice little one, blade from Sandvik 12C27. It's basically the same as the Bokerplus Mini Tech Tool 1, made in the same factory. The Bokerplus Mini Tech Tools also come with extra tools added e.g. scissors. I find the blade on it much better than the one on small SAKs.
I liked the "using the knives" videos - outdoors and the cardboard slaying. I'd like to see a video of seatbelt cutting with rescue tools. How hard is it actually to cut a seatbelt with those tools vs a nice sharp knife?
I found a Leatherman Juice S4 at a pawn shop recently and was able to negotiate the price down considerably. The toolset on that thing is fantastic. It's a shame they don't make that anymore really. About the best fifth pocket multi tool I have ever seen
My EDC multi right now has been the S2. I made it my mission to acquire backups, because I agree. The size and form factor of those was great, and there is nothing else really like it available new today. Not even the PowerPint in my opinion. -DCA
I've carried the Victorinox Mini-Champ for years now. It is amazing for most daily tasks, with great scissors and two blades that seem to remain sharp for ages and are so easy to sharpen. The best tool? The orange peeler. It is great for parcel opening nail scraping, and spicule gouging! Wouldn't be without it. I dummy cord mine to a belt loop which means I can put it round my neck if I need to.
You know what fits amazingly well in my fifth pocket and is there often? My Leatherman juice c2. Why on earth they ditched the juice series is beyond me... They are amazing!
The SOG PowerPint is one of the best tools on that entire table. I only paid around $30 from Amazon for mine. The gear system on the pliers literally adds way more power grip Force than other plier based multi tools. Also nice that each tool locks into place although my only complaint is the push button lock mechanism on each side when the multi-tool is closed is on the inside. Nonetheless great video, keep up the good work my friend.
I enjoy this series and have seen every episode. Sorry if my wording is too lengthy, and feel free to paraphrase if needed. I've never been a fan of liner or frame locks because i had one collapse on me when i was younger, nearly cutting my finger when i was at a concert, which could've made a fun time ugly with my friends and i at the time. (This was the 90's when security wasn't what it is today.) You did a segway once about getting into titanium framelocks for the first time, and you sold me on the Ray Laconico Yorkie. I already had his Gemini, and appreciate his designs. The Yorkie is also now discontinued, so thanks for selling me on it. When i handled the knife, after avoiding liner/framelocks for decades, there's something that i noticed as what i consider a design flaw: "righty" liner/framelocks have the lock opposite the thumb. In order the close the blade, your thumb has to cross the path of the blade twice: once to push the lock open, and another time to get out of the way of the closing blade. When i handled the knife in my left hand, i noticed that the thumb only has to cross the path of the blade once: only to pull the lock open. Once the blade loosens from the lock, the thumb continues in the same direction and it's out of the way of the blade. It seems to me like the "righty" locks should be on the other side of the knife! A simple solution to the problem would be to buy a "lefty" framelock. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of affordable options out there. If you have any suggestions, please LMK! Thanks, and keep up the great work.
Fifth pocket multi tool I use is the Buck MiniBuck tool. I don't know if they still make it. Bought mine back in the late 90s while in Port in Japan at the Navy Exchange. Still working as well today as the day I bought it.
I'm surprised that the Micra wasn't brought up. It's smaller than most of these. I use mine all the time. I also wish the Squirt was still being made. They're over 100$ on Ebay.
For years now, I carry Kershaw Shuffle in that small fifth jeans pocket. It is small, thin, easy to use. Some might say it is a knife, but, it has pry tool / screwdriver and bottle opener on it. So, I call it a multi-tool. To date, I did not find more comfortable blade or tool to put in that pocket.
My current favorite 5th pocket knife is a recently discontinued model from Olight called the Otool. Titanium and 154CM construction, one hand opening with a great liner lock sheepsfoot blade on one side and a bottle opener, prybar and deep cutting hook tool on the other. I think Olight recently cut back or dropped their outdoors line which the Otool fell under.
Hi David, I'm ride dual-sport motorbikes and often take them deep into the forest. I've been thinking of getting a general utility knife to pack into the tool tube on the bike. I keep thinking get a stainless mora; they're cheap enough to not be too upset if it finds its way off the bike. Here's the problem., which Mora? There's so many variants and they all seem okay. Thanks!
For the mora I’d pick teh Garberg but it’s $70, next choice would be the bushcraft model with the sheath with the stone and fire steel attached, it’s a great option for do it all knife, if that’s still too much then get the mora robust, the thicker steel is definitely worth the extra few bucks, you’ll want to square off the spine though since if I remember correctly the robust has a spine that can’t scrape.
@@jeffvndeperre1262 That's a great place to keep it, maybe even in a front fender bag. I already keep a Swisstool and the included tool kit on the bike. I was looking for something to fill a camp knife roll. And something that I won't cry about if the tube opens on the trail.
HI DCA, that little fifth pocket you refer to on a pair of jeans can also be found on some trousers and shorts. I have several pairs of both trousers and shorts in my wardrobe that has the pocket. It is commonly called a fob pocket (for a pocket watch) or a coin pocket for obvious reasons. Hope that helps! Big shout to you, Thomas and Seth. Keep up the good work!
I’ve only been watching the channel for a year or so know, would definitely be down to see some field videos!! Let’s see u test the pocket tango obviously! And maybe a spyderco one would be cool too
I carried a SOG PowerPint for awhile and it was fine for a 5th pocket. I recently found the Nextool and the idea of pliers and large(ish) scissors was something I had to try. So far so good.
Seeing all the cool pocket fix blades from blade show and elsewhere, what would you suggest as a trial knife? Im not sure a pocket fix blade is for me, so I dont want to spend a lot of money. I do also worry about the reception from others if I carried it over the other folders or otf that I carry. I would prefer at most a taco style sheath, as I want to keep pocket bulk down. Any suggestions? Bonus points for purple options
The kabar Kephart is my personal blade of choice. It's excellent craftsmanship came in extremely sharp. Holds its edge well. And feels so natural in the hand.
Glad you mentioned the SOG PowerPint - I def find it fits in 5th pocket and it's well-equipped. But that said, I almost always swap it out for a Skeletool in my normal pocket just before I head out
I'm looking to blend my hobbies of sailing and knife collecting. What do you have for nautical themed knives both functional such as a marlin spike and esthetic?
Most serious question answer counterpoint: Stone knives. They are not heat treated as part of the manufacturing process, but definitely count as knives.
Same with ceramic, carbon fiber, and hardened plastic. I'd also say that heat treatment is not magical, and won't turn pot steel into blade steel, and vice versa.
Working mostly in an office or from home, my keychain combo of Victorinox Alox Classic and True Utility Key Tool get most of my daily jobs done. I picked the Alox because of the looks and resistance to scratching, but every once in awhile I do wish I had the tweezers of the normal Classic which work better than those on the Key Tool. I also have an Olight I3E on my keychain with normal AAA battery so I don't have to worry about cable & charging. In addition, I usually have a folding knife from my collection in my jacket pocket or laptop bag. As to more outdoor videos - definitely, especially when you are introducing fixed blade knives or outdoor folders. Show us what they can do - why some blade shapes are better for some tasks than others, ergonomics, attaching sheaths to belts or packs, etc.
Nice Presentation! Thank you! I'll be checking out the Olight Knives & Multitools. SAK Mini Champ √ SAK Swisscards √ Gerber Dime √ I think the last standing Leatherman keychain / 5th pocket Multitool is the Micra. I got a few some time ago. The current $50 List Price is Painfully Outrageous. Glad I got some of the Leatherman Squirt series tools when I did, they've come in handy over the years.
I would like to see more of DCA out in the wild. He always teaches some good quality stuff to those of us in need. Personally, I would love to hear DCA’s opinion and test of the Morakniv Pathfinder.
Got to handle some Richmades at Blade show and you are absolutely right about them making you smile. Those giant blades flipping open had me giggling like nothing else. Its hard to justify for the price but one of these days I might have to snag one just to cheer myself up whenever needed.
GREAT ANSWER for when is a knife not a knife, heat treat is crucial to knife development. Lightning round question: SOG powerpint scissors, from episode #172, had a bit of patina on the 'mostly' stainless steel. What's your best recommendation for removing oxidation?
Good combo! I've used a similar size setup when I was going minimal on occasion. Alox Mini Champ (which is about the same thickness as the Rambler) and a Rovyvon A8 -DCA
Hey D & T! So Mr. Rogers would show up to work and change into his hosting uniform, and change back into comfy clothes when he'd get back home. My question is, when you get home and put away your EDC, do you have any knives that differ from your EDC and put in your pocket when you get home? P.S. This is what I call my Rogers Carry.
Hi DCA ! Love the channel! Thanks for all the knowledge and entertainment! My question: I have a LM wave and I'm thinking about upgrading to the surge... Could you compare the two? Is it worth the upgrade? What ate it's less known drawbacks (except size /weight) ? Thanks in advance
I really hope Leatherman comes out with a squirt type plier tool again. It’s so small u never notice it’s there till u need it and the functionality was all I needed for most small tasks. If they gave it an Arc-type makeover I’m sure it would sell like crazy.
One theory about why Leatherman has abandoned the keychain size multitool market is because those multitools break a lot and Leatherman is known for a long warranty. Maybe they should start an import budget sub-brand and put out keychain designs with short warranties.
Howdy fellers. I'm lookin fer a 4-4.5in Wharncliffe/modified Wharncliffe blade folder, preferably button lock or liner/frame lock, decent edge retention but not difficult to sharpen (Cru-Wear, Magnacut, M4, CPM-154, etc.) The Protech Malibu checks all boxes except blade length. Any suggestions? Also could put some pressure on knife companies to provide larger versions/options. Much obliged.
Hey DCA! 🗡 So, as I've been delving deeper into the world of knives, I've hit this point where discussions on metals sound like they're speaking a whole different language! 🤯 Do I need to enroll in Metallurgy 101 or take a crash course in Alchemy to understand this stuff? 😄 I'm curious about budget steels, premium steels, and those elusive "super steels." Are there certain steels that are like the VIPs of each category? And why do some knife enthusiasts turn up their noses at certain types of steel? Is there a "Knife Steel for Dummies" guide out there somewhere for us newbies? Better yet, The Knife Whisper? Any tips? Remember to use small words and lots of illustrations…lol
Still pretty disappointed that the Leatherman Style CS was discontinued. I'd rather them bring it back than have a Skittles assortment of Skeletool colors
The SwissCard nailcare is the better option imho. you get a pin and a file and can be carried on the plane. I've never seen someone only having this without a capable knife on the side. The scissors are excellent for opening packages.
With all the popularity of pry bars and traditional knives these days, are there any upgraded electricians knives out there? My father has carries a Sears one which I believe is basically the TL 29 pattern, drop point blade and screwdriver/prybar. I know GEC has one but the availability is an issue. Wondering if I am missing any one like it that is available/reasonably priced. It seems like this would be a perfect edc blend that people would enjoy with better materials and action.
Hi DCA, I have a serious question. I am a clutz, I cut myself more than the things I try to cut. I need a knife that will cut stuff, the more versatile the better (EDC, survival, camping, etc) but one that won't cut me. Budget not going to worry about, but lower cost is always good. Thanks!
When I worked security I had a small red and grey pair of pliers multi tool with a built in carabiner and tweezers in the side with some other stuff. No idea when I lost it but I’ve been looking all over for it. Can’t find it anywhere online and it’s driving me nuts. Pretty sure it was a leather man but I don’t remember for sure. lol.
Whimsical for me goes to the BFB Panic at the Picnic man. You can't help but smile every time you see it. Especially when using it to cut a sandwhich in public.
DCA, you are aware that a Swiss Champ (or Cyber Tool L) fits into a levi standard fifth pocket? just add a lanyard to secure it to the belt with a hanger clip to make it more secure.
I like my power liter for size and tool options. I prefer it to the pint for the wine tool as its a vacation knife for my toiletry bag. The pivots are tight so tool access could really be improved
Wash & Dry knives ? I am in the habit of forgetting to take my pocket knife out of my pocket . My knives often go through a full wash and dry cycle. Are there any knife scales that could actually be damaged due to my forgetfulness . Yikes
Rambler. The Rambler takes the taco when it comes to max performance options packed into a small form factor. Love it, love it, love it. I would still like to see a Cadet X though.
I don't believe they make it any longer, but the leatherman juice xe6 has been my fifth pocket carry for many a year when I'm not carrying a full size multitool.
Hey DCA! I have a question for you sir! My wife and I just bought our first house and I’m looking for a nice knife to commemorate the event! Looking for something special in the 300-400 range that punches above its weight class. Doesn’t need to be hard use, but able to get work done. I prefer thumb studs or blade cutout opening with a finger safe lock (but not required, but preferred). Recently picked up the microtech amphibian and CRK Lg Inkosi in maganacut. Any suggestions? Thank you sir!
what is your opinion on titanium pry bars? it seems to me that titanium being more brittle it wouldn't lend itself to being more than a fancy carry piece and not useable for actually prying on something.
I had a Nextool mini flagship, i bought it direct from them online. First time i opened it up the small metal piece on the scissors that presses the spring snapped off. I contacted them, they didn't want to know. Suggested I buy a replacement or a replacement part. Not impressed at all.
DCA, I adore the slipjoint version of the Spyderco lil native. It's a bit more substantial than the UK pen knife, but even less visually offensive to people who aren't used to seeing knives, since the blade is shorter. I go to the UK where legal options are few, but, honestly, this slipjoint gives me total confidence, and I have a Sabenza. Specifically, the lil native feels solid when gripped including the choil, but even if I don't choke all the way up, it's ergonomically impossible for me to close the blade on the fingers holding the blade. My question is this: what else fits the bill? Take my money!
Hello David and Thomas (and Seth if he's around), Today you showed a SAK Alox Bantam it it reminded me of a question that has been puzzling me for a while. Maybe you can answer it. Why don't SAK put half stops on their blades? The Alox Bantam specifically has a very snappy half stop on the cap lifter tool, so why not replicate it on the blade? In the world of slip joints, a crisp walk and talk is often appreciated, so why not have it on the world's most popular slip joint? Hope you can shine some light. Thanks.
They put them in the 111mm, probably because they have liner locks and its an extra safety if you have to put your fingers in the way of the blade to unlock it
Not really a question, just a request: please show us the Stretch 2 XL in CPM CruWear. I just got one recently and adore it. I think people are going to regret not getting one when they sell out.
The now discontinued Leatherman Squirt PS4 was the best...I have anxiety thinking about mine breaking or losing it...used almost daily since getting it a couple years ago. Would love to find an alternative the same size and quality...sadly still looking.
Hello DCA, Thomas and Seth if he's there! I'm getting married this coming October and all my groomsmen know that I'm a "knife guy," so it only seems fitting to gift them pocket knives. We all live in a coastal state with a 3" blade limit and none of them are "knife guys." Do you have any recommendations between $50 to $100?
DCA, I cannot believe you did not give a mention to Leatherman… Squirt PS4, Micro, and Skele…. I totally agree with DCA about the SOG, and it is taken over my fifth pocket, big but boy is it capable!
PowerPint for the win, the size of the pliers head makes all the difference. After a while the tools become openable one handed, and can be closed one handed without too much trouble. The blade can do everything except spread butter
I got a serious problem. I have to accompany someone into the closet realm where only small people live, and I want to bring them a full fetched Bowie knife for their size. Is there a tiny Bowie knife I could bring them? Or any other sort of miniature knives that are made just like their big version? Thanks a lot in advance, it's really important! 🙏
Hey DCA, quick question, and I haven't seen any knifecenter video for this. Nephew wants to be more helpful and I want to get him something more capable than just a single blade. What would be an upgrade from the kid's Opinel? Im looking to give it as a gift. He's a kid who likes helping out where he can, around 10 years old but responsible.
THAT LITTLE POCKET YOU REFERRED TO IS A WATCH POCKET! Do you remember pocket watches with a chain on them? When not in a vest pocket, that watch pocket would where they would be stowed, just ask an old guy (like me).
If I were to time travel back to the days of fixed blades and slipjoints being the only knives available, what knife should I take back in time with me so that when I take it out everyone thinks I am a god or at the very least a man from the future?
Good day DCA and Thomas, I recently watched an episode of n@ked and afraid where the contestants were able to get a snake utilizing the chisel edged tip of a machete. A chisel tip on a machete seems like it would make for great utility in a survival scenario, but I'm having trouble finding anything quality. Can you shed some light on an avilable chisel tip machete, and the utility thereof? Thanks!
love the nextool. Bigger scissors than my LM Arc. Powerpint is compelling but it has too many tools. Nextool is such a nice amount of tools because of the combined can opener and lifter Wish LM would stop trolling and bring back their keychain tools
Hey DCA, I recently got a promotion for work and wanted to see if you had any recommendations for a more office friendly knife that I can still use without too much worry in the field around $120-$200 as a present to myself. I work in the alarm side of life safety doing fire and intrusion alarms. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey DCA, what makes the Demko AD20 so much better than the AD20.5? As I'm writing this, the AD20S in G10 and Magnacut is a full $185 more than the G10 and 20CV AD20.5, with neither being on sale. I get the difference in size, blade steel, and country of origin, but is there more to it that's not necessarily evident just by reading off the specs?
The squirt was a great piece and it's a shame they let it go
My squirt literally exploded in my hand ( easy) , switched to a knipex xs and minichamp.
I carry a squirt at work
@pauljosephbuggle3722 it was killed by the warranty.

PowerPint has never let me down and gradually just becoming more and more useful day to day for me
Most serious question answer counterpoint: Stone knives. They are not heat treated as part of the manufacturing process, but definitely count as knives.
Same with ceramic, carbon fiber, and hardened plastic. I'd also say that heat treatment is not magical, and won't turn pot steel into blade steel, and vice versa.
Fair points -DCA
I carry a Leatherman wingman in my fifth pocket everyday, fits perfectly, has a clip to keep it in place, and is very capable. Love it.
Hi David, Will Leatherman upgrade the Squirt at some point and name it better name?
What swiss army knife is most like the SOG Powerpint? It doesn't have to have every tool the SOG has.
Nice Presentation!
Thank you!
I'll be checking out the Olight Knives & Multitools.

I think the last standing Leatherman keychain / 5th pocket Multitool is the Micra. I got a few some time ago. The current $50 List Price is Painfully Outrageous.
Glad I got some of the Leatherman Squirt series tools when I did, they've come in handy over the years.
The Leatherman k2 or k4 is a good small tool to have
I would like to see more of DCA out in the wild.
May I introduce you to Cold Steel?
@nealrosenberg7519 not even close to the same effect
GREAT ANSWER for when is a knife not a knife, heat treat is crucial to knife development.
Lightning round question:
SOG powerpint scissors, from episode #172, had a bit of patina on the 'mostly' stainless steel. What's your best recommendation for removing oxidation?
More woods demos
My 5th pocket toolset is the Victorinox rambler + thrunite Ti2. Rambler has worked quite well for me for over a decade.
My question:
I have a LM wave and I'm thinking about upgrading to the surge... Could you compare the two? Is it worth the upgrade? What ate it's less known drawbacks (except size /weight) ? Thanks in advance
Honorable mention (perhaps) the Gerber Armbar Slim Drive?
Two of my favorite small multi tools are the Learherman Micra and the Swiss & Tech ST53130. Alas, I don’t think KC carries either one.
Hi DCA, When your son is trying to make the football team, what knife should he carry to be sure to make the cut?
Hahahhahaha
Becker BK 9
@@davidblowe9096 Why?
@@bobhabsolute4995good knife, that's why
Yes. Please do more outdoor videos!!! And take the Maserin Rescue 2 knife with yall. see how it does
With all the popularity of pry bars and traditional knives these days, are there any upgraded electricians knives out there? My father has carries a Sears one which I believe is basically the TL 29 pattern, drop point blade and screwdriver/prybar. I know GEC has one but the availability is an issue. Wondering if I am missing any one like it that is available/reasonably priced. It seems like this would be a perfect edc blend that people would enjoy with better materials and action.
It would be really nice to see these knives you guys shows here, and in other series, in action.
Hi DCA, I have a serious question. I am a clutz, I cut myself more than the things I try to cut. I need a knife that will cut stuff, the more versatile the better (EDC, survival, camping, etc) but one that won't cut me. Budget not going to worry about, but lower cost is always good. Thanks!
I will never use my fifth pocket because I know I will forget it when I put it into the washer
When I worked security I had a small red and grey pair of pliers multi tool with a built in carabiner and tweezers in the side with some other stuff. No idea when I lost it but I’ve been looking all over for it. Can’t find it anywhere online and it’s driving me nuts. Pretty sure it was a leather man but I don’t remember for sure. lol.
Leatherman style ps
Was there any announcement from Victorinox for Blade Show? I'm excited to see their new bladeless tool options
Victorinox does not exhibit at BLADE- -DCA
Your Pocket Tango videos have me wondering: what are some examples of tasks a nesmuk vs lambfoot style blade excel at?
Muk - skinning or slicing. Lamb - scoring or piercing.
Yes, both can do both, but I would say those are the strengths of those two shapes -DCA
Yikes
Hi KC team, question for KnifeAQ: is the Becker BK16 still relevant? Have newer knives superseded it? Does it really have anything much over a Mora?
Rambler. The Rambler takes the taco when it comes to max performance options packed into a small form factor. Love it, love it, love it. I would still like to see a Cadet X though.
I EDC the Leatherman Rebar in my Fifth pocket... Fits beautifully and is way more capable than any listed here
I don't believe they make it any longer, but the leatherman juice xe6 has been my fifth pocket carry for many a year when I'm not carrying a full size multitool.
Sog Powerpint is filling my 5th pocket. Brilliant little multitool!
Does the Gerber Dime still bend the backstrap when the pliers are used?
I carry a Sog powerpint and a rovivon torch in my 5th pocket every day, no problem. Hands down the best 5th pocket multi tool.
Regarding the forest-located vids, FAQ oriented around outdoor would be a nice episote to test the waters.
what is your opinion on titanium pry bars? it seems to me that titanium being more brittle it wouldn't lend itself to being more than a fancy carry piece and not useable for actually prying on something.
I had a Nextool mini flagship, i bought it direct from them online. First time i opened it up the small metal piece on the scissors that presses the spring snapped off. I contacted them, they didn't want to know. Suggested I buy a replacement or a replacement part. Not impressed at all.
Looking for a Victorinox SD with a higher end steel that holds an edge longer. Specifically the Signature with the pen. The fox seems too big. Thanks.
I'm all about the Lil Native slipjoint too! That is my go to "compliance knife" these days. -DCA
Thanks.
Gives more torque on a screw with half stop as you probably know. Not needed for the blade.
The Victorinox Alox classic or Minichamp are great for everyday carry - not too heavy - very useful - classic style
While I own several of these small, pocket multi-tools I really like my Powerpint.
"That little fifth pocket" was used to carry pocket watches, once upon a time, young man!
I still call it a watch pocket.
It’s amazing how many people don’t know what that pocket is for. I’m surprised hipsters haven’t revived the pocket watch
Watch pocket ,absolutely! You can check the time with STYLE!
DCA, I cannot believe you did not give a mention to Leatherman… Squirt PS4, Micro, and Skele…. I totally agree with DCA about the SOG, and it is taken over my fifth pocket, big but boy is it capable!
They don't make the Squirt anymore (very) unfortunately, so it wouldn't have been helpful. Micra, touche. Skeletool... too big IMO -DCA
Leatherman micro mini is awesome have cared for over 20 years
PowerPint for the win, the size of the pliers head makes all the difference.
Hi DCA, what knife should I suggest to my friend to make sure he cuts the crap?
I’d love to see more videos from the woods !
Absolutely a Victorinox with the toolset you think he would have the most use of 👍
Add in a mora for the heavier knife duties
I think there is indeed a kids Victorinox with a saw round blade a couple tools and lanyard. My First Victorinox Plus.
A victorinox Tinker small? its got a fair bit of tools
got the NexTool Mini Flagship a couple of months ago and love it
THAT LITTLE POCKET YOU REFERRED TO IS A WATCH POCKET! Do you remember pocket watches with a chain on them? When not in a vest pocket, that watch pocket would where they would be stowed, just ask an old guy (like me).
The generation right after you called it our lighter pockets cause that’s where we kept our zippos 😊
If I were to time travel back to the days of fixed blades and slipjoints being the only knives available, what knife should I take back in time with me so that when I take it out everyone thinks I am a god or at the very least a man from the future?
Maxace Hela 😆 🤣
Hello DCA, Why we don't see white coated blade a lot? Is there a technical problem or a kind of agreement between knife makers not to make it?
Good day DCA and Thomas,
I recently watched an episode of n@ked and afraid where the contestants were able to get a snake utilizing the chisel edged tip of a machete.
Nextool is such a nice amount of tools because of the combined can opener and lifter
Wish LM would stop trolling and bring back their keychain tools
Smaller knife, with less expensive steel, produced where labor is cheaper. Not really anything more to it than that. -DCA
