    Very clean work! I especially love the smoother pillars. I'm always scouring TH-cam for other crafters. I'm glad you got suggested.

    Yup, hunt through the house and find something round of the right size. Oddly I also have a compass (Er... somewhere...) but I can never find it quicker than random lids/jars/cans.

      I have a compass somewhere too haha! I can never find it for some reason.

    Don’t scale them make smaller ones to add to top. Then you can have shorter ones if you need them

    Your build and editing quality are really high. Great work! My money says you’re a designer by trade, but that’s just a guess.

      Thank you! I have always enjoyed design and the arts but have only freelanced sporadically over the years. These two mediums of crafting and video editing are still new to me but I am really enjoying them.

      @@TableCraftOfficial The truth is I like simple but useful crafts like this, so I can put them to use on my table. There's a good amount of this kind of tutorials, so seeing a creative one like yours is always welcome. I love the way you share different results with different techniques, paints and washes. Great job!👍🏻

      @TableCraftOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I am definitely learning what works for me. Trying new techniques is vital to finding your style and what will work best for your vision. Working efficiently and simplifying processes is a big help too. Crafting and preparing a campaign both take a lot of time 😅

    What foam are you using for this? I want to try getting into this!

    • @TableCraftOfficial
      @TableCraftOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! You definitely should! It’s called XPS foam. It’s used for insulation in buildings and can be found at most hardware stores depending on where you live.

      Awesome video.
      Tried making the smooth ones, but no hot wire cutter (rumor has it there’ll be one under the tree this year!), so they came out…horribly (great “ruins”, though).
      Are the blue and purple foam the same, just different manufacturers?

      I made them to fit in 1 inch grid squares. They may be a hair over that though.
