I always love seeing what Condor has. It’s such a relief seeing new knives that don’t look like they came from a gas station or the back of a smoky mountain knife works catalog
Though the prices have increased in comparison to the materials used (here in Australia). I did love Condor (still have a few) when they first came onto the scene.
Literally every knife & tool Co. has raised their prices, significantly! It’s absolutely everywhere! And it’s allowing the Chinese Companies to slide in, more and more. Sucks
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I gave a lot of thought, time and effort into designing an (optimal as possible) EDC blade while still being versatile enough to be used in places one sometimes unfortunately finds himself. The Serbian Design Principle, per se, haha.
There is no better knife interview on this planet than Joe Flowers. I would do just about anything to go on a camping trip with that guy. DCA could tag along if he wanted.
@Joe Flowers , I still have, use and appreciate the Corona El Salvador machete I won in one of your Bladeforums W&S give aways probably 10 or 12 years ago. Thank you for continuing to lend your blade knowledge to our hobby/sport/livelihood/adventures.
This video made me very happy! I love DCA; I love Joe Flowers, I love Condor/Imacasa and I love El Salvador and Nayib Bukele. I love 1075 and 1095 steel. Hell, I even love Serbs. Joe makes me proud to be an alumnus of the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I hope to travel to Colombia with Bushcraft Global soon.
I think for alot of ppl...myself included...... we want our outdoor knives to be able to do alot of different things but do it well in all aspects of it!!!!!hats off to condor..... these get me very excited for the years new line up
Joe Flowers is the best. Only having him in vids a couple times a year is a crime. Also stoked to see it looks like Condor’s QC has improved 👍🏻 Edit: As a lefty, THANK YOU Jason Breeden lol
Question for the next KniFAQ: How would you define a saber grind and what are common mistakes people make when identifying them? (You had to see this one coming!)
I love Joe flowers. I have the Headstrong as a hunting knife and the Scottish Argyll Falchion as well. I love their stuff and it isn't too expensive. Sheaths are super good quality.
Joe Flowers is always one of my favorite parts of Shot Show! So much passion for the brand and all the products and he's great in front of the camera. Always gets me pumped to buy more Condor!
I don't own any condor stuff, and can't see that changing as I just don't have the need, but I love Joe flowers. His enthusiasm and excitement is fantastic.
Joe Of The Jungle sittin down (er.. swingin around steel) with DCA is always the highlight of SHOT Show! We need a part 2 to this video.. or maybe a quick short sneaking up on Joe mid antics. #DCAgang #JoefloCrew
One of the most wonderful designs is the Condor Bushlore. But I wished it had no finger guard / hand in front of the index finger. The Trivittata seems amazing, almost like a Skookum Bushtool, but I wished it had a palm swell similar to the Condor Bushlore.
Glad to see them using more micarta and polymer for handles and more polymer sheaths. Just not a big wood and leather guy, I guess. The Machetesaur looks GREAT!
Yes, Condor. Always a highlight … Mr. Flowers. Joe … you are using a machete the whole morning? In Las Vegas? Okaaayyyy 🤙 I bring 50 pounds of machetes. That’s the spirit 💪🏻
I have a few small Condor pieces and I love so many of their knives but have absolutely no use for them... Having stainless options is a big plus as I can use them in the daily kitchen then. Mr. Flowers was rather calm and tranquil today; no coffee? Is he everyone's favorite knife guest?
Nice designs. I have a few blades from condor and some I love, but my biggest gripe is the price doesn't add up for the lack of quality control. The attention to detail is hit or miss with condor
I really want to like Condor but I’ve had bad experiences with probably 75% of the things I’ve bought. I’m still waiting for a response from them about my woodbuster scales falling off.
Joe is just... how can you not like that guy! I got a Selknam from Condor. Loved the sheath, but the grind was asymmetrical. I returned it for a replacement. Same issue. Returned it to Condor direct, for another replacement, same issue, but less pronounced. On one hand, I was frustrated and annoyed that the knife isn't perfect. But I decided it was close enough that, since I otherwise loved the knife and the amazing sheath, I'd keep it and tell myself the asymmetricality was just "character". If you don't examine it closely, or put the blade on a flat surface, you won't notice it. And it's otherwise a *really* good-looking knife.
Hey Joe not sure if you're in comments (or if someone else can help me) but what would you recommend for a machette from your line for use in Southeastern Australia? We tend to have very hard, dry, resiny wood, it's famous for trashing edges and breaking blades. Hoping Condor can help!
@Craig Dendy Awesome, good to know thanks. Probably something around 24", I don't have a huge amount of machete experience but that seems like about right in my head.
Always looking forward to Joe at knife shows - also because of the knives ; ) I have seen the Serbian kitchen knife for years on AlmazanKitchen here on TH-cam and always wanted to get one... maybe now is the time.
It’s the best part of Shot Show!
The Joe Show!
The most enthusiastic part of anyone’s library of Knife Reviews!
I always look forward to his presentations!
I should get a machete to open letters in the office. The Burmese Hunter looks about right.
joe is unstoppable. he's so excited to show everything off as fast as possible
It’s magic mushrooms! As hyper as he is he’s gotta be gettin something from the jungle. He’s a hoot to watch. He knows his stuff too.
I love how he's a huge fan of carbon steel because carbon steel awesome plus everybody Love's a patina to show off their skills
Gotta love a bunch of fixed blades in 1095
I always love seeing what Condor has. It’s such a relief seeing new knives that don’t look like they came from a gas station or the back of a smoky mountain knife works catalog
I love that condor is always innovating and trying new things. They seem to become a better company with better products each year.
Though the prices have increased in comparison to the materials used (here in Australia). I did love Condor (still have a few) when they first came onto the scene.
Condor was a company that sold decent knives at good prices. They’ve gone from 1095 to 1085 $ 1075 and doubled their prices. Pass.
@@donalddicorcia2433 Glad im not the only one 👍🏻
Literally every knife & tool Co. has raised their prices, significantly! It’s absolutely everywhere! And it’s allowing the Chinese Companies to slide in, more and more. Sucks
They have one of the best sales guys in the industry, I hope they take care of Joe.
Joe is always a great interview! Such an awesome guy!
Love the look of that Zhaoka Knife for an edc fixed blade
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I gave a lot of thought, time and effort into designing an (optimal as possible) EDC blade while still being versatile enough to be used in places one sometimes unfortunately finds himself. The Serbian Design Principle, per se, haha.
Joe Flowers is always by far the best part of these shows. 🌻
I look forward to see Joe also. Been following him for quite a few years.
His enthusiasm about blades is awesome !
Joe seems like such a great guy, he's just a big kid and his enthusiasm for what he does is awesome, I'd love to hang out with him for a day
KnifeCenter's vids with Joe Flowers and DCA together are my favorite.
Great interview. Always a joy to listen to Joe.
Jason seems like good people. I liked his style of blades and handles as well. Thanks for the video.
I imagine Joe Flowers just cruising through the woods of El Salvador like a real life Tom Bombadil. Super happy, and yet unstoppable and deadly 🤣
There is no better knife interview on this planet than Joe Flowers. I would do just about anything to go on a camping trip with that guy. DCA could tag along if he wanted.
He’s literally the next generation, Lynn Thompson!
@@powersww1reset lol yeah but I actually believe the things Joe says he's done with his knives
@Joe Flowers , I still have, use and appreciate the Corona El Salvador machete I won in one of your Bladeforums W&S give aways probably 10 or 12 years ago.

Condor really making some amazing knives that you can count on
Love his enthusiasm. Condor do some decent stuff for the money. Happy to hear they are starting to work with 14C28N that is a great steel.
I love Condor tools. Great customer service!!!
That country backroads machete, in the background on the display table, looks awesome! Wish we could’ve had a closeup of that beauty!
Joe's enthusiasm is so infectious - dude loves his job(s)!
I could watch hours of these two! I love Joe and DCA together!
I think for alot of ppl...myself included...... we want our outdoor knives to be able to do alot of different things but do it well in all aspects of it!!!!!hats off to condor..... these get me very excited for the years new line up
That second guy in the checked shirt has some nice design ideas.
Joe Flowers is the best. Only having him in vids a couple times a year is a crime. Also stoked to see it looks like Condor’s QC has improved 👍🏻
Edit: As a lefty, THANK YOU Jason Breeden lol
Ditto
I love Condor Knives. Condor's Beetle Neck Knife is one of my EDCs.
I was really hoping for a close up of the backwoods machete, but after seeing the knife I know I'll love it.
It definitely looks intriguing, back there on the display rack!
Glad to see the polypro sheaths, that's a useful improvement
I'm already in love with that machete Joe Flowers had. 😍

The Burmese Hunter is NEXT on my list for my growing Condor collection. Love my Hurons and my Jungolo so far!
Appreciate David and Mr flowers a lot
I don't own any condor stuff, and can't see that changing as I just don't have the need, but I love Joe flowers. His enthusiasm and excitement is fantastic.

DCA rocking the old Seiko tuna can. Nice. 👍
Joe is awesome. I always enjoy him in your videos

Gotta love Condor!! Love everything they do.
Love the chats with Joe. That guys is a little bit crazy, but the knife designs are fantastic!
The world is never prepared when these 2 get together
The 2nd one is going to sell like crazy!!! I really dig that one and If I find it in Greece, I'll get it!!!
I like that Country Backroads knife. Will that be in Sanvik steel?
Had to stop what I was doing and watch this right away when I saw y’all two together.
I'll always love my Greenland hatchet........ never go without it
Wow, very different designs this year. Definitely picking up a few there
"You need to get a patch...and some pins...".
Condor has great customer service !
I'm digging the copper pins! Still waiting for my canyon carver in 14C28N
I love condor 👍🏻
So many great designs
1095 is still my favorite
Finally, finally, Condor put out a smatchet-esque blade!
@8:50 as a Burmese knives fan I am so excited to hear the name of the knife
Thank you condor for a stainless option. Good pick, too. Love the high grinds.
They seem like great people. Always a selling point when the people seem so genuine you want to buy from them
Love my Condor knives!
That backroads stuff is nice.
Everyone go to Shot Show just to see Joe Flowers..!! The man is a Living Legend.
Always look forward to the Condor booth!
I've been looking for a clever like that. Can't wait
Hey Knifecenter do you know when that Trivitata knife will be available at your store? Thanks for sharing!
I always enjoy hearing from Joe Flowers.
I geek out watching these 2 goats everytime. Great vid👍
Glad to see them using more micarta and polymer for handles and more polymer sheaths. Just not a big wood and leather guy, I guess. The Machetesaur looks GREAT!
Are the spines ground to 90°on any of these knives?
I really hope that clever comes with a awesome leather sheath
I need to order the terrachete machete. When is gonna be available?
any chance of polymer sheaths being made for older models?
Condor is probably in my top three favorite knife manufacturer's. Joe Flowers is what makes Condor
Most interesting knives at this show!

I love Serbian chef's knife, very slicey and handy. It is great that CONDOR is launching their version.
