    Buck holds a special place in everyone's heart. Regardless of whether they're a knife collector or not. Everyone's papa pulled a Buck pocket knife out to cut up their apple, or deal with a knotted shoelace, or whatever as a kid. We've all been rescued by a Buck 110 in our childhoods. Very happy to see them expanding to increase their presence in our knife collection & EDC rotations.

    The $475 price tag on the 110 with titanium handle is crazy overpriced in my opinion. I’m a Buck collector and love the brand… but that’s just not realistic for s45vn and titanium.
    Edit: after finishing the video, it looks like Buck is pricing me out of collecting them lol. Wow.

    • @YuhNinja
      @YuhNinja ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Agreed. Wtf are they smoking. They think they can charge high end manufacturing production prices, or damn near custom territory pricing. They're finally using decent steal from 5 years ago, and Titanium. These materials make knives that cost $100-300 tops. And the $300 ones cost that much because of excellent fit/ finish and design... Buck isn't reinventing the wheel, but they're pricing their knives like they are.
      Pisses me off tbh, because they actually do look decent.

    As a Buck knife collector,, I am interested in really all of them. Whether I can afford all of them or not remains to be seen. Since I like 112s the most, had those special 110s been 112s, they would have been mandatory pickups. But the 117, Alpha, Hiline Xl, and Infusions I'll get for sure. Even if I had the $$ I would never pay that and their "Limited Edition" knives aren't even a select number made, he said they're just gonna make them for the year and the next year do something else. I'd be more likely to pay a larger amount for a knife they made 200 of as opposed to 10,000+ that year or whatever!

    I think it's cool that buck is getting into higher-end stuff by hope they don't become an inaccessible brand to someone who just wants a good work knife for a reasonable price. I have a basic 110 in 112 and I love them. They're both good American made knives that didn't cost me an arm and leg. It's cool to see the the high-end stuff. In fact I'm saving up to get a custom 110. I just don't want to see Buck become something inaccessible to normal people.

    I wish Buck would bring back the Reaper.

    Love the saunter in 154cm, love the titanium 110 but $500 is way too steep. $790 retail for that Paradigm? What are you all smoking Buck. Should I get a Chris Reeve Sebenza, a Shiro, or a Koenig Arius, or a paradigm?….

    Always been a fan of Buck, but they have gone away from their base with the HIGH prices. It is a shame.
