I really like the more subtle, but still very persuasive style of DR advertisement. Some of the copy in Copywriting courses and such really does sound scammy and I was almost put off from Copywriting because of that. It’s not that I don’t like selling (I really like it) and I love writing, but a lot of copy out there can feel almost like they’re trying to trick you and that they’re lying to you. Thanks for the video.
I love all COPY THAT videos, they are to the point and simple, and most importantly you people talk about important and not covered by anyone topics. I need a video on researching copy, that how you people research you copy and that should be practical. I watched a video on the channel but need something more practical. Waiting for it.
Hey! Isn't all Copy in someway a Direct response Copywriting? I mean eventually at the end of the copy we would request for a CTA right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. P.S. I'm a newbie😁
Nope. Some is delayed response or indirect response with no CTA. A commercial for McDonald's that says "I'm lovin it" isn't giving you a CTA. It's trying to make you more susceptible to enticements in the future.
I'm loving these shorter form videos that address a singular topic.
loving the newer set up, plus the simplicity of the video! Look forward to seeing more!
More to come!
It's the Hollow Knight/SMB crossover tee that says "I'm a copywriter"

@@CopyThat Good example! It'll take up some space in your mind to take action later on. Isn't that right?
@@themedianguy399 That's the idea, yes. How effective is it? Well, brand agencies love to say it is.
