    Excellent review, hits most important points, all substance without any fluff. Good summary or pros/cons.

    I can’t believe that I’m watching this channel for 2 days to see his review about laptops and can’t barely afford it

    Thanks a lot for the review! Very balanced and informative. There is also a variant with a 75Wh batteries, which I am strongly considering. Very excited about the battery life if the 52Wh is already this good

    The best review on this laptop on TH-cam. Well done! What about the pulsating fan? Is it really bad? Is there any workaround how to get silent laptop for ordinary office work?

      After a few minutes it disappeared. Firmware update fixed it. The other three models didn't have this issue.

    Can you set the amount of reserved memory for the iGPU in the BIOS?

    1:12 this machine came with 51 whr and 72whr battery optional. Do you think we can upgrade the 51whr to 72whr battery? It looks like we got the space to do that

    Nice review, but test the performance of 3D games on a business computer is pointless. 😅
    In my opinion it would be more useful a comparison with the 845 series to see the difference in size with the 14” inch model, or show the BIOS options and security features that are unique to Elitebook as well as the remote management features…

    • @tyszq
      @tyszq ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If someone wanted a laptop just for browsing the web, he would go for a laptop at 1/3 of the price. Testing games performance is perfectly fine.

    • @MnemonicCarrier
      @MnemonicCarrier ปีที่แล้ว

      I think testing gaming performance on this was very interesting - the integrated Radeon RX 680m GPU is quite a performer! I'm also very interested to see how the newer 780m handles light gaming...

    I do have question! How about Micro SD or SD ? You say Smart Card Reader? What is difference? Is that same? Sorry I am not into computer much! Thanks

    • @Dovecomputers
      @Dovecomputers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Smart card reader is for enterprise organisations that have credit card size ID badges that they use to authenticate/login to the laptop. Micro SD or SD cards are found on digital cameras or some smartphones to transfer photos (Or files) to the laptop. 👍

    I want to take that laptop for multitasking(search Infos about research, statistic analysis), this laptop can do that easily???

  • @user-od6gi4lz8t
    @user-od6gi4lz8t ปีที่แล้ว

    Those laptops are for Enterprise they can be managed and configured automatically from the BIOS/UEFI so it is not fair to compare it with any other 16 notebook a parte the business line of DELL

    For these top level CPU / iGPU systems, it would be nice if HP came out with a gaming version with 19" 4K 144 screen

  • @m1l4nchee

    No mention of a sd card reader? For a busyness laptop with all the upgradeability and expandability, simple sd card slot is not much to ask... Nobody likes them dongles, except the apple crowd ofc.

    • @anormes
      @anormes 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SD cards are so slow anyways. People still use them ?.

    • @Dovecomputers
      @Dovecomputers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As its aimed at business users, SD card readers are not required normally. Tend to find then in consumer laptops or content creator models.

    • @zeus1117
      @zeus1117 ปีที่แล้ว

      Business laptop is not really in need of SD-card slot. In most businesses external media is strictly controlled anyways, can't use personal USB-drives in any decent company nowadays. SD-card is only used by photographers who are generally freelancers with personal creative laptops. Ergo nothing to do with business laptops as you were mentioning.

    what a small battery.....its a waste for a laptop with the best AMD mobile chip on the market

    • @zeus1117
      @zeus1117 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there are other variants of this model with bigger battery. Also, U-series processors go longer with less battery than the H-series...

    • @ElectroWolf_Arts
      @ElectroWolf_Arts ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zeus1117 That's right , but if they could put a 99wh battery like the Macbook M1 (which is about the same size) this laptop will be immortal
