I mean you still buy most Rolex models cuz you can always make money or at least get what you paid if you don’t want it. While you lose half or more of what you pay for an omega if you decide to sell it. No wonder that omega has fallen behind Cartier in sales, although Cartier shouldn’t be even close. Omega should step up their game, and Christian should quit bullshitting people with his paid misleading opinions. He wouldn’t buy any of the watches in front of him even for a discount, cuz he doesn’t really like any of them, or believe in their value. He is just a paid advertisement.

I was intending to buy the new FOIS, right until I tried it on. Too small and sat high on my wrist, reminded me of an old Radiomir. I've got a couple of Seamaster 300M which at 42mm which are a good size on me. The FOIS is beautiful, but legibility, especially the minute hand is not great with the domed sapphire. The white chrono hands don't seem in keeping either. I bought the white dial moonwatch professional instead, which was far nicer in the flesh than pictures suggested. Very happy.
I love me some good fauxtina, but I sincerely hope my television color is off, because the color looked wrong. Personally, I wish that Seamaster 300m had a proper bracelet. I hate those mesh things, but I could put it on leather.
I know I’ll get hate for this by the Speedmaster purist and fanboys but can’t we get an automatic version instead of manual wind? For the premium price that I’m paying it would be nice for an automatic as opposed to a manual wind, and yes I understand you’ll have a “deep” connection with your watch. But if I’m going to have only one watch for the rest of my life, and going to daily it, or traveling with only one, an automatic will be super beneficial.
There are many speedmaster versions with automatic movements. All the two counter varieties, the 38mm, etc. Only the moonwatch maintains the manual caliber exclusively.

To answer Christian's comment of the bracelet is a hit or miss on the Omega SMP; I was under the impression this was a cost cut under the disguise that it is a vintage element. However, we know the watch industry do support each other by keeping to certain trends and after a closer look at all the products from all the different brands, bracelets are going back to being more flexible, hence more comfortable and elegant. So, it seems Omega has gone that route, after putting myself in their shoes, what kind of a flexible intergrated bracelet would fit on this new SMP, not much to be honest. Therefore, I have decided to appreciate this new release as well as that 3861 moonwatch with the new, also more elegant bracelet in comparison to the more rigid, over hanging bracelet on the former 1861 and 1863. To be a bit nerdy, the Omega brick road bracelet was done in Omega under Jean Claude Biver's mangement, he now does a similar look to that Under his new brand, it is a silent trend, even the Longine Spirit time only has a delicate bracelet on it. The industry is in a great place, so lets hope we will all have the financial means to continue supporting their endeavours. Nice video as always Christian.

All Omega does is milk the shit out of the Speedmaster both Heuer and Breitling went to space before Omega so someone should tell Omega to get over it already
I wonder what watches the Soviets wore in space?
@@bngr_bngr Sturmanskie watches
Agreed - best Speedy in a long time. In the metal it looks even better.
White socks? Christian expected better🤣
Great video keep up the good work!
Was looking for this comment. Socks should match the pants. You’d think a watch guy would know.
@overbuiltlimited you must be behind the times. Not only is that "rule" not true, white slouchy socks with leather loafers have come back this year. It's a preppy look.
@@mouisehay930no one wears white socks outside of working out. So tacky.
I am a client if london jewelers for nearly three years. Theyre the best
Did you plan to play tennis after this interview ?🤪🤡🤣by the way unfortunately The fauxpatina ruins the dial.🤢🤮
The seconds hand not matching the other two hands is a deal breaker for me. 0:22 Yuck

Nice shoes dude!!
The Seamaster release was lazy. All the issues of the watch were still not addressed. It’s still too big and bulky and that mesh bracelet is also bulky and cumbersome.
Thanks!
Much better sized speed master. Now make the panda like the Tokyo edition in this size and we finally have an omega worth buying
diggin white more
Ed White or white lacquer? be better
Omega is becoming a joke
I've had the FOIS for months... great watch.
Didn’t know johan lennon was a da house 🎉🎉🎉
321 is romantic but far less accurate than a co-axial
Garbage faux patina. Not to mention Omega prices are absolutely tanking something crazy. One of many $hitter speedies. Just buy the standard speedmaster.

“ ex-pecially” 😂
Oct 2024 got the new white dial speedy, and Nov 2024 the Bond 60th SM, no regrets except spending that much in a span of 3 weeks 😭. But couldn’t resist when the AD called. Resistance is futile.
