Thank you Costi and Reagan for this “How to Kill Laziness & Thrive” podcast. This is one of my favorite podcasts: can’t wait to put “POWER” into action!
So what is serving the lord on a daily basis. We work take care of house go church but what exactly is serving the lord look like on a practical everyday 24 hr basis
That’s what I have asked myself the past few months. There’s a few responses I got from older and wiser men. 1. Glorify God by working unto the glory of God. That means in your work ethic, integrity, etc. Practically it’s good to have a “end goal”. Don’t see the money as an “end goal” when you work, rather see how you can glorify God with the money you will get once the paycheck hits. Examples could be like, providing for you family, giving more to the church, helping the homeless or the widow, etc. so your motivation to work unto the glory of God is not money, or you, it’s others that need the help that God had called you to help. (Family, church, less fortunate, etc) 2. Fear the Lord. ”The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.“ Ecclesiastes 12:13 ESV Do you fear God? Does your life reflect that Jesus truly is Lord? It’s very difficult to live life this way. We get angry, frustrated, sad, lonely, etc. yet in those moments do you still fear the Lord your God? Solomon says all is vanity unless you live your life with the Fear of the Lord. Working for example again is vanity and a striving after wind. But if you fear the Lord as you should then you will work diligently and have Joy in your toil under the Sun. For that I’d a gift from God. So I’m summary we are to Fear God in all things for God will bring into account our life before us, good and evil. So life righteously, of course Jesus is Lord, you won’t make it on your own righteousness. And do everything unto the Glory of God. How? By doing it for those who God cares for. Even when you eat you can eat healthy to take care of your health so that your wife and kids have you here for a long time. So that you can serve more faithfully because you have the energy to do so. Ultimately you have to ask yourself what the end goal is? Is it for you? Or for someone else God cares for? God wants us to take care of our family, care for the orphans and the widows, the less fortunate, our fellow saints. There’s probably more I don’t know off the top of my head but those are quick examples. Hope that helps brother. I’ve struggled with that for a while and only now have I come up with some sort of answer

The podcast on video games you brought up at 4:20 - did you do a video on that or is it just audio?
I can’t find it either.
