Hi Ceri. By cracky you've made another favorite of mine. Forest (love trees) and an owl (love owls). I save the bits from spines too. The texture is awesome. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
A story along with a postcard. I have an almost 13 year old greyhound who also has issues, mostly mobility…….i wouldn’t be without her. I love owls too and I love this postcard. Thanks Ceri.🇦🇺
I love this postcard. Really cool.how you built the canopy for your lovely long legged owl friend. I'm glad your pup has you and your family. Our big bully dog (pit bull and bull Mastiff) is 12 going on 13..... Outliving his breed. We're getting to the groans and now a new cough. He's our priority over everything. He was my husband's therapy dog after my husband's near death accident. Then he became full emotional support for our whole family... He's such a nanny dog. Now it's our turn to cater to any and all of Andre's whims ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶🐶
Loved all your exploration of why you did what you did with this,...the canopy of leaves, the script, the texture of the branch.... just great, Ceri! And doesn't he just look SO wise!!❤ TFS
Fabulous, as usual (and expected). Another postcard simple but elegant. And I have several favorite birds - hummingbirds, cardinals, and owls! And yes, pets are family. And since all our pets are gone we have more Grandpets than Grandchildren! I guess we didn't quite convince our kids to have kids, but they all learned to appreciate pets.
Ceri-This is such a ‘wow’. I can see it matted and framed, and on the wall over a student’s desk for inspiration. That owl has a marvelous attitude, but then, you have the best ephemera, scraps, and things in your wonderously organized containers. You warmed my heart with your sentiments about your dog. Old dogs are simply the best.
Thank you love this one. I don't have gel paper but doing your challenge using painty paper. Been recovering from back surgery and you have been so inspiring. Thanks ❤
Ceri! This postcard is beautiful, as all of your others. I already liked you and hearing you talk about Biscuit just made me like you even more. I’m an animal lover, I do rescue and help with lost and found animals! So that just comes close to my heart. Hug Biscuit for me. And again thank you for putting this challenge together ❤
Wonderful layers you have built up! The texture that the old book binding adds is amazing- it really does look like wood. Your owl looks at home on your postcard. Wonderful job.
Hi Ceri. I love this postcard. Owls are among my favorite creatures. The green dappling is perfect to give the impression of a canopy. This is my favorite postcard so far. Your work is always impressive. Thank you for sharing.
Ceri I love this postcard! Your mind and mine have been running along similar lines. I did an Owl focus card for the 10th. I thought of you while I was making it, since I know you like owls. You have taught me so much over the past few years in both art and how continuing to learn new things keeps us young. Loved the little observations you had about owls. If you havent seen their channel before-Foxes Afloat (they used to live on a narrowboat called the Silver Fox but have since landed and become crofters in the Highlands) they are Fostering an Owl on their Croft. They are helping an owl rescue/sanctuary. Loved the update on Biscuit-we lost our dog Rufus the Beagle a couple years ago to cancer at the age of 15. He received the best of care from our vet. A painting I did of him in his younger years hangs in their office now. See you tomorrow for postcard #12. BTW my postcard #11 is another creature you like -a dragonfly -if you have a moment, I’d love for you to check it out.
Oh wow another awesome card. I love how you are doing so many different cards. The tree branch looks so good. I wish I would have had pet insurance. We have one that is diabetic and another with kidney and thyroid problems.
I like owls and of course, I like this card. Thank you for the inspiration, Ceri. (We are in special need of some good old wisdom in these crazy times). And yet, owls aren`t the cleverest of birds. Not really. Where they got the stigma of knowledge and wisdom from is a historical enigma. However, in the old days in rural areas, people observed (and do to this day) that when there were sick people on their deathbed in the house, owls came very near the house and their loud and eerie hooting was understood as the announcement of death. That`s why many people still don`t like an owl`s hooting near their houses. This superstitious thinking, probably helped them earn the plaque of foresight, knowledge, and wisdom. In fact, owls were most likely drawn to the candlelights coming from the house throughout the night because of the care sick people needed during the night. Their nightlife and straight frontal eye position probably add to their enigmatic appearance. But that`s just my explanation for why owls are considered wise and knowledgeable beings. 🦉📜🎓😉
You should do a postcard with a dog on it! There's a saying 'dog days of summer', so it would fit in with this being July. Love this postcard. They are all amazing and every day I'm amazed at your creativity.
Ceri i hope you are not going to Sk us to choose a favorite. Everything i think that's the best you make another " best one" i do love this as well. Gorgeous.
I love the postcards you've been making, but have one suggestion/request: please consider NOT showing the finished card in your thumbnail picture for the video. I like the journey to see what you end up with and showing the finished card upfront kinda ruins it a bit. 😿 Thanx! 😸👵😽
Look forward to your video every morning. Another cool post card.❤
Yay! Thank you
❤❤❤
I’m loving these postcard videos. Best one yet!
Great postcard. TFS
You're killing me! How can I have one more favorite than the others? I love love love this one.

Absolutely marvelous! Love everything about this card, it's very evocative of the deep, magical woods - hoot -hoot... XO!
Beautiful! I love owls. ❤❤❤We treat our dog like family, too. I love my chow-collie, Annie, as much as my children.
A story along with a postcard. I have an almost 13 year old greyhound who also has issues, mostly mobility…….i wouldn’t be without her. I love owls too and I love this postcard. Thanks Ceri.🇦🇺

Thanks for the paint tips and using the stamp. I learned a lot tonight. Really lovely.

Ceri, that owl is gorgeous and perfect for the background you used.
TFS❤
Another awesome creation...each day you outdo the day before...really love to see what you create each day!

Oh thank you, I’ll hug him for sure, not that I ever need an excuse.
BEAUTIFUL
Your book binding elements look like wood which was perfect for the owl to stand on. Good idea!
Wonderful layers you have built up! The texture that the old book binding adds is amazing- it really does look like wood. Your owl looks at home on your postcard. Wonderful job.
Love the leafy canopy idea. Thanks for that Ceri. I also save those bits of book bindings

As long as you’re enjoying it then that’s whats important.

Unfortunately for this challenge I have to stay consistent with the thumbnails, but I understand that you’d like the surprise. Thank you.
Thanks for hosting this challenge! It has been so much fun playing along, and seeing what others are making. 📄✂️🙌🌈
Oh Bitty thank you I’ll add that to the fund for future supplies to be used in video content.
