I drove 42 and RE both, here is my experience....
Pro's of 42 -
1) powerful, better for longer rides
2) modern
Cons of 42-
1) low ground clearance
2) low range for 1st and 2nd gear ( just like sport bikes)
3) really really really small seats making it uncomfortable even for 2 ppls
4) still new in game so won't wonder if can't find parts later if company close down
Re pro's
1) even tho it's low powered, it's less need to gear shift makes it feel like more powerful
2) really comfortable seating
3) it's been in market for soooo long that i think getting parts of RE is easy just like getting parts of splendor lol
Cons of re-
1) it's vibrations r really really uncomfortable after some time
I know i didn't mention many things like liquid cooling, vavles and all but i think, riders at this range just want that powerful riding experience then no matter what's under the hood....for example, ppls gonna love sd350 wayyyyyyyy more than any of these bikes because it's more classic :)
And last but not least, if u want to ride with friends, go for RE
But if u want to ride with gf then go for 42...compact seats r useful only here 😂😂😂🖖🖖

Have done 800 km in 2 days in jawa classic..put her through all condtions in Coorg ...rough,off road,hair pin bends,ghat...not a single issue observed...and it's very good handler in corners ...

I booked Benelli Imperiale on Dec 2019 and still waiting for the bike to be delivered. I understand there are issues around the Corona outbreak, but still. It's been over 120 days already
Dude there are many parts coming from the main plant in China (Qjian jiang which owns Benelli). There was lockdown in China from Feb and now in India. So it will take some more time.
What ever it is I love Bullet...
Riding it for past 8 years still shining like new. I have New 500 also just 7 months old. Both are doing great work..

Rajputana have no competition for sure
The jawa is far ahead just due to its engine. I find it much better looking than the two. I hope they just improve the seat cushions and foot peg position for a more relaxed feel.
The Benelli and RE is quite matched in looks and power, so it feels too close to each other.
Benelli needs a 6th gear and around 25-26 bhp from that engine.
When the smaller cc Jawa can do it, why can't the Benelli? Had it been offered with a 6th gear and a little more power, I'd have gone with it. I think I'll wait for the next generation of RE's because Jawa from a touring stand point just doesn't cut it.
Any BENELLI fans here I m just asking BENELLI is going to be Rajni Kant in Roads I m buying one and I m booking my IMPERIALE next month

The enfield is much better for many riders in terms of price and power. But still RE should consider adding a fuel gauge and some more additional features that are required in today's age without losing the classic feel.
Speaking as a proud classic 350 owner who absolutely loves his ride, what I love about royal Enfield is it can do 120-130 kph but the vibrations never let you do it, so you're always keeping the engine comfortably within its comfort zone. Cruising at 80 kph is an absolute JOY on the RE. thats what matters most on these type of bikes.

Benelli : Hate the open wires and that tank looks out of proportion

Though RE has a quite a waiting time, others are worse in waiting time for delivery. RE has its showroom in every town of this country even in the remotest possible area and because of its age there are mechanics older than our parents who deal in RE exclusively. Last but not the least, RE itself came up with himalyan and cafe racer but still classic beats them in sale despite being more refined engine being there in the market, reason is the thump and pull from this heavy bike. People make space for you not out of respect but because no one wants to ram their plastic into pure metal.
Ok JAVA technically best but RE is close to heart

earlier with CI engine people didn't have guts to ride it very few of us had but now you can have same experience with normal UCE engine
I love RE but without fuel gauge and the modern features, I'd prefer Benelli over it. I wish RE would at least put a digital fuel gauge in the upcoming classic 350. Plus I mean try to increase a little bit of power and less vibrations at high Rpms. 6 gear box would also look dope on the RE classic 350.
Royal enfield has the best retro feel . Will always ride a RE . Companies come and go but RE has stood test of time . No one can topple it .
Go out, open up your mind. Test ride the others. You will see the difference in the ride.

Editors at Autocar do speak about about the credits of the company/product in their videos nowadays... I liked that... Another video I remember is of the Duster BS VI Variant with Turbo Petrol engine, where Renuka mentions that Renault was the one to bring mid-sized SUV's to our markets with Duster, which is actually truwl3.... And here the anchor mentions about the Retro-Revolution that was initially brought forward by Royal Enfield. I like the credits that you give to these products and their companies, they deserve it.

For city rides, if one is ok with softer suspension, I'd say Benelli is better choise. If you want to rev your machine at higher rpms, I'd say go for Java.
But, here's the catch, due to poor ergonomics, Java loses it's advantage on the highway.
I'm not a RE fan as it's just average on every parameter and has average quality.
Bottomline- Benelli 🙏
Imperiale 400 brakes are very bad and bike is too heavy,Jawa has the best braking and it also provides slipper clutch.my verdict JAWA>IMPERIALE>CLASSIC 350

my RE Classic 350 2012 model gives a mileage of 40-45kmpl in cities and 55-57kmpl in highways . In decent riding like no over throttle no much gear down

I have the classic signals ! And I totally agree with this video ..... I am not completely sold on imperiale’s looks ..... So that’s the strangest thing my ideal bike is a mix of all three bikes ..... ergonomics of the classic ... engine from the imperiale .... paint job and engine design from Jawa and also dual exhausts would be sweet ! they didn’t change the engine in the BS6 enfield too ..... that just makes me sad ....
Was waiting very eagerly for the Imperiale but it turns out that there is no showroom of Benelli in Lucknow, lol. Sad life.

I thought the same thing man , everything is good except the size, jawa basically is good for shorter people since the seat height and size are small , but bit taller guys might not like it. RE and much advanced Benelli are better. Jawa just looks too small

Instead of producing a competitor to the Bullet, someone should manufacture an engine with excellent low end torque, confortable suspension, and forward footpegs. That would be a Bullet competitor. Combining two Unicorn engines for a parallel twin 300 would be a good idea to begin with.

I have a classic 350 but i found the beneli imperiale more comfortable but you know what, i'm never going to accept it in front of my friend who owns beneli coz i'm a royal enfield loyal fan even if the beneli will become the great option and royal enfield will become worst i would still ride royal enfield coz i trust the brand and i definitely trust the machine that indian army rode more than anything else ♥

Well, the BS 3 version of the royal enfield classic 350 is quite good in initial pick up and top speed.

Re💙 don't even compare (Made like a Gun Goes like a bullet) jawa n other they don't sounds better after ignition n vibrations it makes u feel realistic good experience n see the seating position while ridding a bullet royal look come only in it .. haha double silencer once check continental gt and interseptor silencers royal Enfield launching a bober also ... Build quality is grt .we can have a custom redroaster silencer.. i feel speed doesn't matter enjoyment of ride important with old dug dug sound 😍

In this section if you feel the customer looks for practicality the sales of Royal Enfield sales would argue with you.
By practicality we mean things like suspension comfort, seat space for rider/pillion, ease of riding, ability to handle bad roads, etc

All the three bikes are unique, if it doesn't have differences or some low and high, then what is point having a bike ?. Choose a bike that u like.....rest doesn't matter.....
The hallmark of RE bikes is the rustic ruggedness. One can keep showering praises on modern bikes dressed up as retro but the 'real thing' will always be RE. And don't we already love RE bikes for what they are?

because of spoke wheels. there are spoke wheels that support tubeless tyres but they are very expensive. so sad companies should at least provide alloy wheels as option.
If u r First time vintage bike riders... don’t take a chance... go for RE undoubtedly... I had a Jawa booking and I have seen my friends complaining a lot with new Jawa... I’m not against Jawa it benneli but it’s not right time to go either of them... if u want to be safe go to RE

Royal Enfield old version is manly as it has no side stand, self start, right side gear crank and tall seating height, present royal enfield is made for kids, these kids will run away and hate if they try old diesel RE.
