    I myself am a H'ness owner and my friend has Meteor, after riding 1k km I think though most things are good for honda, however there are three big complaints regarding Honda; 1) Gearing is so tall that riding in traffic needs frequent downshift, Meteor is way better in this 2) As a 5'6'' person Meteor has much better sitting comfort than this, my hands pain after riding H'ness for 2 hrs straight. 3)Color scheme is very limited.
    Never rode Benelli, so can't comment but some may find this useful

    Honda should've just sold the H'ness in regular dealerships! would have made it a lot more competitive.

      Then they would service them like activa and shine by thrashing around.
      Instead they must open more big wing showroom or hness dedicated showrooms

    • @lutenic6111
      @lutenic6111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      Then it will loose the differentiation from regular honda bikes.
      This is one area where RE has created a Niche category of their own despite so many areas they are behind other brands.

    Now you say traction control isn't necessary on Honda; but it saved my ass for a second when the bmc dug up the road and covered it up with dirt (instead of permanent), then it rained and it was deep slush. Honda traction control light came into action for a second and I felt the bike readjusting itself. Go Honda!

    First I want to say that, you guys doing english reviews is much appreciated. Due to the fact that the Meteor 350 has yet to reach our market(germany), it's impossible to get any reviews. So getting them from you helps a lot! 👍
    And to top it off, knowing that what I'm getting is the unfiltered thruth from RE mother country makes it even more satisfying. As over here we often get seemingly falsified impressions, of smaller(to our standards) displacement bikes, being less enjoyable.
    Which is obviously not true at all!
    Anyways, great video and great bikes, loved it!! 👍 👍 👍

    • @futureminds9742
      @futureminds9742 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    You are right about aftermarket customisation. I have the RE interceptor and there are so many ways you can customise this bike with good quality parts at a reasonable price. The RE wasn't designed to win races it's a well-made quality bike with a great heritage. Where ever I park my Interceptor it always attracts admirers and I am sure the Meteor will do the same. I am now in my senior years and just love Poodling along at a good cruising speed in comfort with my lovely black lambswool seat cover which allows for those extra km's. From Australia.

      It’s not a weakness unless you don’t have it in your town. With Big Wings the customers will get premium service & proper attention. Regular Honda dealerships are too occupied with Activas.

    • @Reflex842
      @Reflex842 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Maybe you dnt but We feel that its advantage for highness. Honda wanted to keep this bike in their premium segment. As well as, Bigwing service center engineers are far better than honda normal service centers people. So, we feel its advantage. And, yes Honda has already opened many bigwing showrooms. And, they are working on more. They just wanted to see response first, now hness will be available to everyone soon. Definitely, Honda must have some plan for that.

    Honda should make hness available through its local dealership rather than big wing dealership and this bike will give serious competition to RE.

      Actually it’s other way round.
      It’s not a problem unless you don’t have it in your town. With Big Wings the customers will get premium service & proper attention. Regular Honda dealerships are too occupied with Activa’s & they don’t to justice with 2.3 lac bike customer. Ask CBR250R owners.

      You dont want Highness to get serviced in regular Honda workshops.
      Imagine Activa and Highness getting serviced side by side.

    the next gen classic 350 will have the same refined engine and speedometer, that would double the sales and competitors will be left far behind.

      That’s not going to happen. Customers now have a formidable option of CB350. RE is known to have consistent niggles while Honda doesn’t.
      CB350 will eat into RE sales.

    After lot of watching reviews and thinking I booked Meteor though my preference was CB350. Reason for Meteor is better looks and road presence, better instrument console. What I don't like in Meteor is the low seating forward foot peg. This will give backache on bad roads because you cannot lift your bum. I am hoping to ride primarily in city and highways.
    CB350 has better rider seating angle, awesome sound and top quality. However it should improve rear suspension which is stiff, increase seat length and improve chasis design which has gaps. I will buy this Honda in its second edition whenever it comes after 1-2 years by selling the Meteor. Hopefully Honda would have incorporated the feedback by then.

    If I head out from my home, there are 2 dealerships for Royal Enfield in a 10km radius, and a service center I can see from my home window.
    The nearest BigWing dealer is 240kms away. For this reason alone, this isn't a valid comparison for 99% of the customers in this country.

      Yes but id trust the Honda more for reliability than a RE. I owned a RE Classic 500 for a brief period and I am not at all happy with it, Too many reliability issues. Owned a Yamaha before RE and it was a gem no issues at all. I can trust Honda way too much in this.

    We got a hness 350 before 20 days and I love the bike .
    Legit it is a great cruiser and a nice city bike .
    The only cons which I found are
    The engine heats a lot
    Low speed driveability , if u are 20 In second Gear , the bike stalls.
    This is as far as my opinion
    🙂🤩🙂😀😀
