Fantastic Review. I was trying to find out what the "P" meant as H is obviously Hours..... I had to watch a number of reviews to find out......You are the only one that mentioned it so thank you for a comprehensive review.
This has really helped me decide whether to buy this .So well presented I suppose and described thoroughly. A tumble dryer has its advantages etc in that it's quicker. But if you haven't much room, the Dry Soon is more portable and adaptable especially in a flat. But it made me think that if you do have to buy a dehumidifier it may defeat the object. Praise to you for explaining so well.
This is a cracking well thought out review! My wife and I have the model down (Dry:Soon 3 Tier) with the central upright supports being in the middle of the dryer. We have had that model for years, we have loved it and it is very good, but the middle uprights drive me mad, my wife not so much. We do though, without a doubt, prefer the Deluxe model and really want to upgrade. Your insights have been very useful, thank you for the impartial, methodical and descriptive review. The added photos are informative too as was the attention to the timer display.
Mine broke after 5 years (winters really, dont ise it in summer). When it works, the On in red shows, but the little switch to turn on only had red illumination momentarily then goes off. When it is broken, like now, the switch red light stays on, as well as the On red lettering being on. Doesnt heat up
We cheaped out and bought a dunelm cover as it was on sale but it's really plasticy and it will actually create condensation in the cover itself, does the official lakeland one do/look the same? We also find that the bottom bits dangling down are always wet with this cover, is it worth us getting the proper one?
Does it say on the instruction manual that has to be used in a room, maybe with constant tempreture or it can be used on a closed balcony that is not heated. Would it condensate on top of the dryer when freezing cold outside ?!?
I bought one and with the cover and I LOVE IT. I even bought my son one for his flat. Just sits in the corner of my bedroom. Easy way to get throu my normally overflowing linen bins. X.
You said you leave the dehumidifier on when you go to work during the day, after the heated airer has dried your clothes. But do you leave the dehumidifier on while you are trying your clothes on the heated airer? I have a Meaco 12L Low energy dehumidifier and it doesn’t use much energy, coming on when it needs to and switching off again when it reaches the required humidity.
Hi it's a great review, but I have a problem after about three years of using it. The drying will not heat up and bleeps constantly. I'm not sure what has gone wrong. Do you have any answers for this, as I am desperate to get it working again. With thanks in advance.
I bought one last week. Used it once as the clothes only dry around the bars. There's no air circulation which causes the clothes to be damp in parts. Also due to the long drying time the clothes smell damp
Hi, I wanted to ask - did you use the dryer also outside (balcony, garden) and in winter? How long does it take for the laundry to dry and do you know how much more electricity it uses then?
I have a question a tumble dryer on average cost 31p per hour. A load would take an hour to dry. These cost 6p per hour and takes all night so it will cost more. And your useing a dehumidifier along side it. So is it actually cheaper????
Always losing the smell of the fabric softner no matter how much i use per load. Drying inside is my only option due to living in a flat with no garden. Will this dry my clothes faster than the cheap heated airer i bought from amazon and help to make the clothes smell better after drying?
Just bought a heated Airer from Dunelm could someone tell me how hot the airer should be when clothes are drying mine not to hot do not know if this is right or should it be as hot as a radiator. Thank you
Dear Rosa, thank you very much for your information. Every year i have problem to do my timer. Luckily i found your video very nicely explain how to setup the timer. Many Thanks again God bless you my dear.
Hey, thanks for your review. I have a question please...do your clothes fully dry using this? As i find it only dries the little bit of the clothing that is touching the airer.
I have just purchased one of these dryers but am a little concerned that it is not very warm - I can hold the heated rungs and they are only luke warm and additionally the bottom rails are not as warm as the top rail. Lakeland say this is normal but I am not sure. Does anyone know how warm airer generally gets - a cheaper version I have does get warmer.
I had the same problem and that’s why I’ve exchanged it for a replacement from Lakeland. It was delivered today and I will use it later to see if I still have the same issue. Some rungs are hotter than others, and I noticed the bottom rungs, in the centre are hotter than the outer rungs. I’m sure each rung should be at least lukewarm, but some can be hotter to touch, while others are lukewarm but not hot at all. Perhaps, for safety reasons it’s lukewarm but that doesn’t explain why some rungs can be quite hot, while others are not.

I just use one of those pound shop dehumidifier box things and seems to work

If you like the deluxe model for the timer function then do what this guy does - th-cam.com/video/jqSZbn5Goeo/w-d-xo.html
Hi Ross, thanks for your review. Please can you give us a review on your dehumidifier.
Many thanks
Thanks for this video, was very helpful. A bit puzzled why you seemingly never made any more after this one?

Washer dryers are useless - not as good as a separate tumble drier. I have ordered one of these. Cannot wait for it to arrive. Good first vid. X.

Not useless at all
Useful for people without the space for two.
Idiot.
Not if you spend a lot of money on the new ones, mine is just as good as a separate tumble dryer but it was over £1000

Sent ours back. 2 days to dry with the cover on!!
How long does it take on average to dry clothes ?

Good review , you got more confident as you went on , nice and clear
Thank you ours just arrived.
Can’t wait to use it x

Tumble dryer seems more cost effective if a heated dryer needs to be on all night and cost 6p to per hour.
What is the brand of your humidifier?
I have a 12L Meaco Low Energy dehumidifier. It’s very economical and affordable. I bought mine on Amazon.

Brilliant & very helpful.
Thanks 🙏
do clothes still have to be ironed?
Hi, dies anyone know if you can buy the front keypad as ours just flickers on/off and shame to buy new one if can replace the control.? Thank you
Mine is doing the same and trying to find the answer to how to repair it.
do you think you could use this in a garage (I have electricity outside)
Pleaae epend more time on the digit settings
Where does the water from damp clothes go? We have carpets, would they get damp? Thanks.
If you place a bucket near it once the water evaporates it will now to re-condense and jump straight into the bucket!
Thank you!!!
Great review 👍🏾

thank you very usefull

You need the cover... It make a lot of difference
They do fully dry when using this!... the length of time will depend on what it is. I find when full clothes will be dry overnight

Mine gets to a max of 49 degrees and I am also concerned that this is not as hot as what other people get.
I bought one of these lakelands clothes drier they are brilliant. They also keep the room nice and warm 6p an hour its a bargain!

Washer dryers have a very short shelf life.
