I’m looking forward to the P38 videos. I have 2 Discovery II’s and just bought a 2002 P38. I replaced the climate control unit and now I’m servicing the transmission and motor (V8). They keep you busy but nothing looks and drives like a Rover. Your VW flatbed is awesome! I have a 63 beetle that’s an ongoing project. Cheering you on from across the pond!
I have the same, Holland and Holland. the front bumper is painted but not the rear bumper, right? spring suspension? what is the diameter of the wheels? Thanks 🇫🇷
Land Rover, been turning owners into mechanics and electricians since 1948.😂 Generally the more you drive the vehicle the better it likes it and it'll help you uncover and fix the niggles to make it reliable....ish. It's a p38 after all😜
Haha yes! Yeah, it really needs to be driven, it has been off the road for about 6 years already. Need to get it road legal first before i can use it more..
Hi there, greetings from the UK. I have a 1999 2.5 DSE Same colour Java Black , 111000 miles. I have owned it for 18 years ( purchased 2005 ) I notice you have front fog lights fitted. I was informed this is not advised as it restricts the air flow to the Oil cooler situated immediately behind the Nearside Fog Light. Have you relocated the Oil cooler ? If not, have you experienced any overheating ? As you will be aware the 2.5 was fitted with covers in place of the Fog Lights. The Nearside cover taking the form of a grill to assist with cooling. Hi! Wow, how awesome to have owned a car that long. I guess you know a lot more about these than me! My P38 had these fog lights factory fitted, I've never heard anything about them obstructing air flow to the oil cooler but I'll check it out, thanks for the tip.
Do you still have the D2? How do you copmpare the D2 vs P38 offroad? Guess you havent tested much since the P38 is not road legal yet. Im also linterested in getting a P38. Cheers from D2 owner in Lofoten not far away from getting the D2 204 road legal.

Positive cable from the fuse box to the battery too short suppose to pass in the channel to come out to the battery
also the wrong battery, the terminal posts should be central, or in his case posts need to be closer the bulkhead due to short cables.
