That ‘puffing’ and working of the engine as it climbs hills is so magical. @ 11:00 you seemed to have arrived in Gembrook just as the CFA siren was wailing…
I would love to se the full driver's eye view from the camera at head of the engine, like many of the ones you have provided. Will that be happening? I also like the trackside coverage provided, but there's something relaxing about 'being on' the train as it traverses the route.
Driver667's video will be an amazing experience when finished. However if you'd like to also see what goes on inside the cab I did a video many years ago on one of my firing shifts. th-cam.com/video/QrhfmRYbCG0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eWEpqsb5cWilhkF9

The siren started just as the train was arriving. 🙄🤔👍
I enjoyed the enginemanship in that start away from Fielder.
That was a bit of a test to the crew to lift the train from a stand on that steep grade. 😄 Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😄
Nice. I love Puffing Billy. Been several times, including twice in the last year. Glad to see you did a video on it.
More to come. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😄
@driver667 Awesome, can't wait.

Oh Colin I haven’t been to see it for donkeys years. But of course I went on it as a kid ❤Thank you for this 😁
Your welcome. It's always been a favourite. 👍😄
Lovely video. It brings back many memories. It is a pity that I have moved too far away to get to the Dandenongs often.
It is a great train that runs through beautiful scenery. Glad you enjoyed the ride. 👍😄
Fantastic mate thanks. Alas I have not had the pleasure😢that would be a good photo shot there at 5:05
It is a nice spot to get the train working hard. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😄
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is something i be waiting for
More to come. Glad you like it 👍 😀
Been quite while since I did same. lol Great fun!
It is great fun through great scenery. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😄
Puffing Billy Railway has some Sites along the line
It's a very scenic area. 👍😄
@@driver667 Yeah😊
Puffing Billy is really cool, except for when you're one of those people waiting at the crossing for it to pass, at glacial pace.
It's great being on the train though. A great trip. 👍😄
We tried to go when were down but they were booked out.😢
It is very popular. 👍😀
Last time I saw this train was at Emerald back in april
It's a great train to ride, beautiful scenery. 👍😊

The Drivers eye view will be coming soon. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍😄

You’ll get to see me working at Puffing Billy this year in July
Great. I hope you enjoy your time there. 👍😄
@@driver667I sure will Colin 😄

Once again your camera has had a great excursion, wondered why the stop, worked it because of gum bark over the tracks, slippery?
That camera gets around 🤣🤣 it was a heavy load for that locomotive. Glad you enjoyed it 👍😄
went on plenty of rides back in early 2000s
It's a nice little train for a great day out. 👍😀
i was a conductor back then
@@jamesdinsdale4256 you would've had a few rides then for sure. 😀😀👍
@@driver667 twice a day - but gembrook was only 1
@@jamesdinsdale4256 you'd know the journey well I reckon 😀👍
Beautiful train, beautiful country, but there is one thing wrong. It isn't 2 foot.
Yeah, I'm a gauge snob. (have mercy on me) :D
It's a lot closer to two foot than the other trains you've been watching though.... 🤣🤣👍😀
I didn’t know you have two GoPro cameras.
Makes it a little easier to get different types of shots. 👍😀
@@driver667 That's a good idea I should do the same thing.😁
