Wisdom of the herd | Ruud Knaapen | TEDxApeldoorn

  • Looking through the eyes of a horse changes your consciousness, it changes as it were in a "we" consciousness and immediately gives other information. "How can I know that I grow and live in tune with my potential and my task in society?" For Ruud Knaapen, the answer to this question came from a rather unexpected angle: the world of horses. He discovered how horses can help identify someone or resonance with his or her destination.
In 2005 he started the Wind Training Systemic Horse Coaching; a training for professionals who want to integrate the systemic work into depth in their current practice. He is currently focusing on the development of full-width systemic thinking in various areas in the Netherlands, Belgium and Brazil. The first international systemic training with horses will soon start. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. I think this is the feeling anyone who has horses as part of their lives (no matter what kind) has experienced. They are highly sensitive animal. They see you through, how you feel deep down.

I am a HeartMath Licensed Coach. HeartMath Institute has done the science to find out what is happening. It is their Heart energy (in laymans terms) Horses can take someone with a n on coherent heart field and change it to a coherent heart field. This affects the Heart Rate Variability (what happens between each heart beat); increasing the variability which we want, increasing our coherence. When in heart coherence we step back into our more natural state of listening to the intelligence of the heart and not the chatting brain. It syncs the brain to the heart; the heart getting the information from the energy fields around us and syncing it then to the brain. In a nutshell...

Humans are a social species. Research for yourself our nature, maybe then you can see for yourself the similarities. Those with mental illness have been rejected from their "herd" struggle to understand where they fit in. Gaining trust in a horse, opens up the idea of trusting oneself and others. Best wishes!

@@mariomejia5877 no mental illness is created by humans to establish a sense of normalized behavior.
You cannot understand human behavior whilst living in the concept of civilization.
It's like studying horse behavior on a stud farm.
      Or chimpanzees in a zoo.
People with mental illness are those who still have the herd rules.
Not the culturally conditioned ones that you currently live by.
