Great tip about using the wonder clips to help gauge the accuracy of folding over the binding! I have “veered off” when machine sewing down the binding so many times if not every time. Can’t wait to try this method of stitching in the ditch and using binder clips to accurately hold everything exactly where it should be. Thank you, thank you!!!!!

Thank you for the tip to reduce bulk in the corners by cutting off fabric in the corners and making "goal posts". This makes sense to me and your teaching style is so easy to understand. I look forward to seeing more tutorials.

My late mother was not a quilter but after cancer at 75 she decided to take a class in landscape quilts. She did not like adding borders and really did not like traditional bindings so she started bringing the excess backing to the front to make an extra wide binding, at least 2-3 inches when finished. Sewed onto front to stitch it down. As a traditional quilter, I was mortified. Well Cindi, you have shown a refined method that is beautiful. Wish she was here to see it. As for sewing binding by machine, my arthritic hands can no longer sew bindings by hand. I now sew by machine with beautiful decorative stitches. Have also used the clips for years but did not know about the 1/4 inch trick. Always learn from you and Briana.. hope mom is watching from the beyond and smiling. Thank you

another great video! Did not know of all the binding options. Loves that I can pick a different one for each different project. I've been doing the traditional one (your navy one) BUT did not know about that little secret with the Wonder clips. Thanks SO much for that very helpful tip!!! I have done the binding with a flange and Love it. Adds a little fancy class, but still as easy as a traditional binding.
Keep sending out the great videos please!!
