I think the colossal tentacles is the "Unkown Monstrosity" on the very bottom of the dead zone, the monster that was never implemented but still in the game where you only see a massive eye and your game crashes, it was like a creepypasta of the game

What is your favorite biome to build your home base in? I have mini bases with supplies that pertain to that specific biome in every biome (including the dead zone, for the lols), but my home base is in the bulb/koosh zone! :) I did the same in Below Zero, but I just live on an iceberg; Not as exciting. Edit: It would be awesome if the tentacles could pull the Aurora under water, and you have a limited time to repair it before it goes underwater, then it would get a lot tougher to repair it, but if you don’t, the map continuously gets radiation
i think for me, it's definetly building a sea dragon observatory in the lava zone! it's really cool to just see it going around murdering different creatures that come across its path (also thermal plants are op lol) if i were to choose another place to build a base, i'd probably build it somewhere near the underwater mountains/mountains (no idea why but i just really love the atmosphere in that area)
oh and also, whenever i'm playing around with mods i have the platformers mod installed (they add platforms that float on water, similar to the neptune escape rocket platform! not really.. that much of a change to the game but its still very fun) and if i'm in late game and im just bored and doing nothing, then sometimes i go out into the void and i make a platform there and i make a small base on the small platform that i have lol
Did you know that even with a hull strength of over 30, launching a floater at your reinforced wall from the outside will put multiple holes in your base.
It would be so entertaining to do a challenge with that fire extinguisher, where you can only move around using the fire extinguisher and to do anything else/switch hand items, you cant move during that time. Edited because spelling

And how they and their mosasaur friends are having a party in the crater while you explore. Though I must admit that incomprehensibly huge creature in the void is quite a scary concept, an ever-looming monstrosity that could very well be Cthulhu himself.
Just an FYI, That creature that wraps its tentacles around the Aurora, is indeed Cthulhu. During the dialog when the Aurora explodes, you can somewhat make out some words or even sentences.

The Odyssey is a cool submarine, the buttons and storage and fabricator and all that is amazing, especially the nimbleness, and the outside looks amazing, but I hate the inside. The Odyssey is a cool submarine, the buttons and storage and fabricator and all that is amazing, especially the nimbleness, and the outside looks amazing, but I hate the inside. The only things that aren't just different colored boxes are the things that were already designed by Unknown Worlds. And the glass should be see-through since, well, it's glass.
