Generally on the west coast to get good viz you need the wind to blow SE for a couple days and the swell needs to be under 1m. Sometimes an incoming tide helps aswell. So if those conditions line up with a bit of luck you can have a lekker dive. This spot was past past silverstroomstrand.
Normally dive False bay and Cape point. Looking to by a new gun .I have a 700 and really would like to buy a 900 or 1000. Just a little concerned about having to drag a 1000 threw the weeds each time. Got any advice on your preference.
id recommend the 1000 for the clearer days and less dense kelp. my dad has a 1000 and still manages to shoot fish at the same spot at the beginning of the video so I wouldn't be worried about moving through the kelp. Its a little harder in the really thick kelp but having that extra length on the clearer days ,when you are going to be shooting a little further, is a big help.
@@d.j.sspearfishing7182 Thanks That's makes up my mind. In today's environment paying school fees for kids and rent and shopping for food it does help have a second opinion .Thanks again.
Nice work! Gotta say South African waters are impressive but I got too much shark paranoia to get into those cold murky great white waters :)
What is this long breath man!😎😎
NICE VIDEO GOOD STUFF
Hey there. Great video. What weather do you look for to get decent viz on that side. Was this far up the coast.
