yeah millers hasnt got alot of fish and i also have dives where i dont see any good size hotties. i cant exactly remember where i shot that fish but it wasnt quite as far out as the big rock at the very back. But ive dove there too and sometimes there is even less fish out there. If you check out my second most recent video you will see some footage diving at the very back of millers and there were no fish out there and was really cold on the bottom so the fish seemed to stay shallower in the warmer water.

Also you should try A frame, east of the big rock and you’ll get tons if you can’t get anything at millers, the restricted zone is west of the big rock

I’ve dove at millers a lot and there are only pyjama sharks but if you go like veryyy far out you will maybe get a white but it is a very slim chance of seeing one

Used to spear around there when I was young. Sharks are everywhere. It's a risk, I live in Brisbane now and where I spear it's full of bulls and tigers. Feels safer than driving on the highways to be fair

@@-Hysteria- I guess South Africa and Australia are sharky pretty much everywhere... We central europeans don't know how good we have it here with the Adriatic Sea... We mostly get blue sharks, and even those are very very rare.

@Dino Zorec Fair enough mate, blues are beautiful sharks to see in the water, as well as makos. Spent some time in New Zealand and they have a fair few floating around. Stunning animals hey.

@@saft1c183 Girth is important in your choice of shafts, make sure to use bigger rubbers too..🤭

Yes it feels weird at the beginning especially if you are used to guns that sink. But you get used to it and if found when i go deeper the tip of the gun floats less. I usually only use my hero in clear water thats deeper than 6m.

@@d.j.sspearfishing7182 i think our cases are not the same At -15m i still have to use energy to keep the gun straight. The stands up on its butt i leave it on floor!!

Use a heavier shaft with slightly more overhang. So if you are using a 7mm shaft, try a 7.5mm shaft ... and if it is still uncomfortable then try a 7.5mm shaft that is 10cm longer.

The spearo community really miss your contribution u have done a great effort !!! ● do you have any personal account that we can follow you on (we at least want to enjoy ur spearfishing videos!!) ● As for my case i cant afford buying other shafts; we have huge hyperinflation. So i tried adding some lead to the tip, 60-65 g lead did the trick, but it still has slightly positive bouyancy at the tip. Do u recommend adding more lead? The gun aim is terrible what could be the problem (brand new hero 115 - pathos 160 w 7mm sharkshaft - built in black rubber 77 cm ) ?

@@tx_spook_lai haven’t seen a great white yet but for the most part stay close to shore and near kelp forests and other than that you just gotta except the fact that you might see one.(obviously sharks can still come into kelp forests and shallow water) you are just less likely to bump into one.
