Love that you’re doing the new album next. Eyes like the sky was the most North American/Country sounding album. The new album inspired by North American country/blues and next week they’re starting their USA tour, just in time.
7:28 The production value comes from the fact that Stu and Joey went to music recording/ production school; it's where they met. Couple the technical know-how re:sound physics, with the necessary ingenuity of being a farmer, and you get guys who can make an amazing sound out of iPhone and analog recordings.
This album is interesting. I don't really have the energy to explain this album right now, but it was Blue who killed off some of those white men. For the production and recording stuff, I'm prrtty sure Stu and Joey both went to a music recording/production school, which is where they met. Most of their early albums are very DIY, they weren't really as much of a studio band until I'm In Your Mind Fuzz, lots of their stuff was recorded wherever they could record. The titke track of 12 Bar Bruise was recorded with 4 iPhones instead of studio microphones, and I'm pretty sure this album was primarily recorded in Stu's parents' garage. Can't wait for Flight b741! It'll be the first time I listen to a King Gizzard album on the day it comes out.
You should look up the lyrics and follow along, it's a short read. This album was definitely meant to be listened to all the way through. Definitely crazy that this was their second album, really set the stage for the pace and varied genres of the albums they'd be making. Once again, install ublock origin, it's so annoying having ads playing during these videos.
Like you stated in one do the previous videos this is meant to be put on and played all the way through. I ran through it twice while working on a 4-d R2-D2 puzzle with my 3 year old. Just the perfect suspenseful background music.
Teenage Gizzard, Wiloughbys Beach, 12 Bar Bruise , Oddments, Satanic Slumber party, and Flight B741 are the last of the music they have out that I don’t think you’ve reacted to yet
The new album is coming out tonight in the US, you should react to that one next!
