    The plates with the swirls are great and classic! And I think the dots at the beginning of the clip are wonderful! Thank you for sharing this!

    Matthew, I was just watching this and noticed the nice simple design of your gas kiln. Did you construct it yourself? Have you made a video about it? Besides the arch roof, it looks like a design that would be something many viewers would be able to make themselves. Yours is much larger than most amateurs would probably need. What's the minimum practical size for a gas kiln?

    Really loved the shape and pattern of the bowls with dots, in fact the whole kiln firing was impressive. What was the blue glaze used in the last bowls, really liked them also. Thank you for showing the whole unpacking and your descriptions, helps us newbies!

    Great firing! I'm curious - are the dotted bowls glazed with Rutile Blue only, or are they Rutile Blue over Purple?

    what are your thick bats made out of? Are they pre-fabricated or did you buy a sheet and cut them yourself? Trying to find the right density of board to DIY. Thanks love your videos

      My 1/4” thick bats?

    • @MatthewKellyPottery
      @MatthewKellyPottery  ปีที่แล้ว

      If so. Those are tempered hardboard. It’s a speciality product because you need to find it smooth on both sides so that you can flip the bats as needed
