I'm arse about face with your videos at the moment. I've seen your new shiny truck video, but back tracking on your other videos. Don't leave it too long before your next one, I thoroughly enjoy your videos, I agree with other viewers, you are a breath of fresh air, you are informative and you don't need to use profanity all of the time . Until the next video, cheers, Andy
Well done. What I like about your offerings is you come across as a decent person and don't use offensive language or nasty behaviour unlike some of the other truck videos. Well done looking forward to the next one 👍
0:39 Who knew it was possible to build up air pressure on a truck without bouncing it off the red line. 😁 23:09 Welcome to the Scott And Alana 4x4 area of the country 👋😄. 26:46 That is one of the reasons I left the industry. Doing that every day gets old very quickly 😁. I love how your videos go from event trucking into an RDC delivery job the next. 😁 Looking forward to the next video in about 9 months time DTW. 😄👍🏻
I do this every week from Toulouse to Caen and it is much quicker to come off at Junc 13 quickest way for me!, it’s also not as bad as your m8s make it!!
Good old UK RDC's . If you are on time or early we should charge for excess waiting and see how fast that would speed it up . Do you know what the new truck is ? Another DAF ?
Awesome video as always thoroughly enjoyable, Did you get a new truck when you got back to the depot ? Hope we don’t have to wait to long for you to upload your next videos. 🤞👍
Yes it arrived before this trip but wasn’t ready to go abroad. I haven’t even had a chance to start editing the next one yet so as always it will be a while.
@@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu Your videos are fantastic so hopefully you won’t be keeping us waiting too long to watch your next videos, The way you film them and then edit them is absolutely world class. Take care and best wishes
Really enjoying the videos, still got quite a few to go! Question. During this video in the secure parking at calais, as you were driving to a space, i noticed a tractor unit had detached and parked behind the trailer. Why would the driver do that? Also, ive seen some units disconnect and simply pull forward a bit. Im sure theres a logical reason for this, i havent got the foggiest though :)
Usually the trucks parking behind the trailer are fridge units so they are getting away from the engine noise. Dropping and pulling forward could be a similar noise reduction or waiting for a trailer swap to come in or drop the trailer so if it’s windy you don’t get blown around by the trailer catching wind and rocking about.

Cracking videos. Have you ever thought about having a go at Artist’s Tour Bus driving, like Phoenix?
I thought about it after one of the Topdeck guys talked about beat the street. But trucking is my thing really.

£1.13 ? It’s just gone up in Kenilworth to £1.52. Some good roads over there! It’s generally easier than here.

Its a year old now but it was one of the last old shape DAFs to roll off the the production line.
Great video with steady away driver.
Another great vid.
What is the registration number 1 HGV worth on the PRS Distribution rig which appears at 29:49? Apparently on a 2018 DAF
No idea.
Last HGV followed in this video had the vrn "1 HGV" 😆
