Couple of questions: 1) in a way to counteract the amount of hey you can load at one time into a larger meadow so as to the 2000 goats let's say, could you have multiple barns attached to that one fenced in area… 2) You mentioned that the goats don't die, do they eventually stop aging like has happened in previous games 3) if you have seasonal farming on, will the meadow eventually die off in the winter months?
With being able to make it larger and hold more animals, does the food scale to how many animals you can have? I ask bc in the past if I got a mod that would hold 200 cows the food would empty super fast bc the food didn’t scale with how many animals the barn allowed.
For me it did but it didnt seem like it at first because the amount in a haybale is more then what you can put into the barn and it doesnt show any change in what the haybale looks like. If you hover over the haybale and you can see the total amount it holds, it should go down when you put it on the feeding platform at the barn but the look of the haybale wont change.
Hi, you say in the video they eat from top to bottom. So grass before meadow. But around @15:30 you gonna skip the video to see the reproduction, and after the skip they have eaten the meadow and didnt touch the hay/grass.
from what I remember with the animal grazing mod on fs22, you were able to fertilize grass for animal fields. I wonder if they'll further develop that part?
My goat barn doesent seem to take hay :/ or is it a problem with bales ? do you mean delete the whole pen for the meadow to come back? then you have to buy all the animals again? :/ i managed to delete the fencing but that didnt make any difference... got some issues here... my goat dont have any food and i cant give them any.. Can you buy loose hay?
I've been using the $ 48,000 pen I built a small one and then 2 bigger ones both with pasture but left one empty. Pasture ran out in the ones I had goats in 2 months but it was winter. I moved all of them to thr 3rd pan but now I find it won't take bales of hay. Not sure if it's the bales or the pen. I'm going to try a different pen on a test map...
I discovered the next pen/shed up does take bales of hay, but the cheapest one doesn't.... I was running out of money and had no grass fields ready..... so I mowed the grass verges and all the odd bits and scooped up with the front loader bucket !! Yes that worked too.... my goats are saved 😊
Love how they added a distance to the sell location in the menu. I’m all about going close if there’s only a couple bucks difference in price

I’m impressed that you can make goats milk & cheese…I used to milk goats…
Goats! 😻Thanks for this video.

i dont know if you have seen or heard this but i tried putting grass bales into the smallest sheep barn and it wouldnt take it
Yeah same for me it’s annoying

Good instructional vid when they don't know how it works hey. Lol
Im not sure if you’re allowed to answer yet, but do pigs finally give birth to multiple pigs now or is it still the 1:1 ratio?

I think you can only feed them grass
@tenjedenpolak1 no he said hay in the video.. have to be loose though. I put it in a mixer and fed threw that instead.
@@adamsandin was about to ask i have the same problem....
Before I waste a ton of money, if you put a bale in the back of that truck does it just turn into loose?
i place my hay bale but it just sits there, its wrapped does that matter?
You need to put it in a feeding machine that shreds it up
I'm wondering if you have to bring the animals inside in the winter.
no
@11:20 Has anyone been able to load bales (hay, grass) into the barn (Sheep Barn)? It won't let me :(
Me neither. But i did grass bales. And i see Farmer Cop putting in hay, even though the menu states grass. What's up with that?

@@DaisyMayGarland It will accept grass from a loading wagon. So the sheep pen doesn't accept bales.
