@@WatchAdvisor Hi Alexander, Now the wait begins! This will be the longest time I have to wait for a watch to be delivered to me. Usually the watches I ordered online reaches me within a week. Initially the delivery time was just one week but I reckoned we are not the only people who feel in love with the Nomos and it has gained a lot of traction which translate to a lot of orders hence the longer delivery time.

Great review of this watch! It's my first Nomos; and I love it! Of course, as with any watch, there's always something I would change. I don't know what Nomos was thinking by putting a polished clasp on the bracelet. No doubt, that will be a scratch magnet. Otherwise, I think it's fantastic; and fits my 7.5 wrist perfect.
@@WatchAdvisor I own a metro neomatik 35mm, which is a really nice watch. I do like the club sport (both bracelets work for me), but unfortunately I have slender wrists and thus can not consider it for me. Maybe in the future, if this line is enriched with smaller models I will buy one
This is an outstanding new release from Nomos. Almost perfect but 2 point to criticise from my side: 1. The power reserve with 42h is not industry standard anymore. Should be 70h+. 2. The polished clasp which is as you say Alexander might be a "scratch-magnet". A brushed one would be better IMO. However I'm very close to visit the official NOMOS distributor in Zurich to order one... :-)
The 42 hours are not the best you can do today, but still ok ... for me at least ... Why? I very much like to play around (wind/set) with my watches ...

Your video was the final nail in the coffin for me. I had to pull the trigger and after a few weeks on my 7” wrist, I must say that it is close to perfection as I have ever worn. The quality for the price, in house movement, high accuracy, drop dead gorgeous dial, stunning thin case, on and on. The ONLY potential problem is the anti-glare coating on the top. It is just incredible and well worth every penny. 😎👍🏼

This bracelet is what many people want, since the design is a common good of the watch industry for decades now... Yes, the Nomos design is unique, but not as popular and that's why Nomos offers this as an alternative now...
Thank you for the great review. I like the integrated bracelet much more than the straight end bracelet in general, but this new bracelet looks like a high quality universal aftermarket bracelet to me, the "old" bracelet matches the case design better in my humble opinion.

Great review of this fabulous new watch from Nomos. Brilliant to see more approachable design from them. That movement looks phenomenal, the bracelet a real improvement and the date is brilliant. But... too big! In a 38mm I'd buy, but no way at 42x52mm.
Wow! Just wow. I will take one in black. Prefer a black dial but that blue is amazing. And in house 6 position movement! All at 4000? Was looking at a Aqua-Terra or a iwc xviii. Now i have something to think about.
I sold one to me during the review... It is not yet my watch. The one filmed is on its way back to Nomos already. I am waiting for mine now... The anticipation is the greatest joy! 😜
Hello Alexander. It seemed like you were in a watch honeymoon, so not surprised you bought it. Great video. Love the balance bridge, the color, the Glashutte stripes and the finishing. Well done Nomos. It will look great on a sailcloth strap. In future videos can you show watch performance if you have the watch in hand. Not surprised a watch made in Saxony has that level of performance. Anyways wear it well.
I literally sold the watch to me during filming it ... I fell in love with it and decided to order one... Now let's see when I will get it ... I will slowly start to show more often how the watches perform on my measuring instrument ... promised!
Nice content , Alexander. Like Always. I have nomos whatches. They are acurate. I am not surprised by your measurement. Sadly, too much Big for me. Hope that nomos Will launch smaller itérations ! Good weekend, Alexander !
I have buy this watch in black dial the 22 December.. the accuracy is incredibly Running at 0.0 spd. Sometimes it is +2 . Anyway in all these days of use, the time is the same to my iPhone. I mean the seconds. I love this watch
Looks great. Good idea of Nomos to target the mainstream audience. 42mm is a tad bit big, for a watch with that much dial, but it is the correct size for the movement.
Yes, why not? The demand is there ... what I heard after one day is that this Club Sport exceeds all expectations ... now Nomos must manufacture and deliver ...
Wonderful idea! Congratulations! For the moment I can’t show it since the watch I filmed is already back in Glashütte at Nomos. I ordered mine only after filming and now have to wait as all the others… Once I have it I will add pictures in the community section of the channel.
Hi Alex, just got mine today! Just manage to get it right before Christmas. Have you got yours? No one watch is perfect and it's not meant to please everyone. However, I am very happy with my purchase. My Nomos immediately took the 2nd spot as my favourite watch in my collection, behind my Glashutte Original SeaQ Panorama Date. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Bravo! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing! May your Club Sport always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours! I haven’t got mine yet… will happen early next year… wish merry Christmas 🎁🎄 and a happy New Year!!
A great video review Alexander once again. I will (try) to be brief. Likes: - The sunburst dial is wonderful - The lume look brilliant - Simple and easy to read at a glance - Date back ground is colour matched to the dial Could do better: - I would loose the text "1000ft" at the six position and move the date window to that position. They can put the pressure rating on the case back. Why do we need the pressure rating on the dial of a non diving watch? - Lug to lug may be OK for me but I would prefer female end links but at 52mm this is extended effectively by the male end links More likes than could do better so definitely worth a look.
@@WatchAdvisor For what this watch offers the retail price it's on the mark, for an in house movement it's quite impressive. I can understand why you decided to order one... who know in the future I might do the same at some point.
Great review! What a fantastic watch, it fits the dressy sport watch/sporty dress watch category that I so like, and at an excellent price. The quick release pins should be more common than they are, as well as the pretty easy micro-adjustment. I’m curious why Nomos used feet instead of meters for the water resistance. My guess is 1,000 ft looks cool and 300m would clash a bit with the “30” at 6 o’clock. I’m also curious about the use of Arabic numerals for the even numbers. That seems to be a German style, since Glasshütte Original and Stowa both do that.
Thank you very much! This Club Sport is a perfect fit and will not disappoint... What I like is that Nomos concentrated on solutions and delivered them ... You can adjust the length of the bracelet without tooling ... the "mechanism" (spring bar with pins) works and is easy to realize... plus ... no worth mentioning additional costs ... Why 1000 feet and not 300 meter? Only the designer will be able to answer that question... Maybe to give it an international touch... That does not bother me, but if it wouldn't be there at all I would not miss it though ...
@@WatchAdvisor I like that it says 1,000 feet. Also if it said 300 meters that might clash a bit with the small “30” at 6 o’clock. And 10.2 mm, such a nice piece.

An amazing package forsure! I was not a fan of the old club sport bracelet (and it seems you were not either), let's hope they also offer the black dial variant with this bracelet, as I love the bronze colours that show on the black sunburst dial
Maybe the entire watch is magnetized… magnetism ist the enemy number one of mechanical watches … if perfectly regulated and demagnetized this new calibre DUW 6101 really performs like crazy…
Great review! Congratulations on your new watch! Throughout the video, I couldn't help but draw parallels to the IWC BP43 in sunburst blue. Do you suppose Nomos is taking a swipe?
It is not yet my watch. The one filmed is on its way back to Nomos already. I am waiting for mine now... The anticipation is the greatest joy! Well, a sunburst dial is a sunburst dial... and blue is blue... Both aren't exclusive to any brand and very popular on top... Nomos has used blue for its dials for a long time now, so it is obvious that they continue using it... Even if there are similarities to other designs, this is still clearly a Nomos...
I don’t have mine yet. I ordered it only after filming this video… the one in the video is back in Glashütte… at least during the days I wore it I had no such unpleasant experiences…
@@WatchAdvisor ah yes congratulations of course as well. Certainly can't beat it at this price point. Especially this 10.2mm thickness... other manufacturers should take note how to do a 200m rated watch with a display caseback to boot... very impressive in that regard.
Great review. Fab dial and I like the new bracelet (not a fan of the old one). Unfortunately, 42mm is slightly too big on my 5.5 inch wrist. The accuracy I am very impressed with.
Alex, it looks like there is a half-link on the 6 o’clock side of the bracelet. This, in combination with the three micro adjustment holes should allow a perfect fit for almost all users.
Great review! I appreciate the movement timing, which is missing from most videos. -1 to +3! I already have 8 NOMOS watches. I woke up at 5:00 am USA time and was not disappointed (unlike with the Autobahn LE). Obviously I bought it “on the spot” too! It is already sold out online. Just how good is the sunray finish? It looks much better in the pictures than Black Club Sport 42, but hoping it is not just better pictures. (Guess I will find out in a week.) This is not a limited edition. Does anyone know many watches does NOMOS make per year?
This dial will will not disappoint you! I always try to film the watches in a way so you can imagine how the really look like. To much artificial light does not do any good... Yes, I decided to order mine during filming it... happened the first time to me and I am now looking forward getting mine. The watch I filmed is back on its way to Nomos... Please share some thoughts with us when you get yours and let me know if you have any questions... May all your Nomos watches always show you HAPPY seconds, minutes and hours!
Nice dial, but I think I prefer the black. I wasn’t a fan of the original bracelet that model shipped with, but it’s grown on me and now that I’ve seen this oyster style bracelet, I’m more sold on the original. It’s a far more unique look and helps shed some of the mass that this blue model now has. They really should have come up with a different clasp here. Also, why is the original 100 euro more expensive? Also, it’s a 6 months wait time?!? I know because I went to buy one yesterday!
This bracelet is easier to manufacture... that's why there is a price difference... and did you listen to what I said concerning this type of mainstream bracelet?
METAS can’t be achieved with such a watch… accuracy is only one point… Please read the requirements… www.metas.ch/metas/en/home/dok/rechtliches/Zertifizierung_Uhren.html
Gorgeous review! Amazed by the quality of this watch. Congratulations on adding it to your collection! I'm days away from buying my next timepiece. Still undecided between Nomos Club Sport 42 black and IWC Mark XX black. Any thoughts on this?
Beautiful watch! Bracelet is let's say 'generic', oyster style but at the same time it's nice. Lug to lug seems to be a little bit too long, 52mm is quite a lot. Accuracy of -1/+3 is fantastic, on par with Omega and Rolex. For 3120 EUR this is fantastic value for money.
Thanks for your kind feedback! It is a 'generic' Gay Frère style bracelet! This design is historically grown and a common good in the watch industry ... it has nothing to do with "Oyster" ...
Thanks for your great video. Is 3Hz, 21.600 half beats correct? Sound's a little bit disappointing. I 'm interested in the Tangente sport ... with this caliber. Thanks for your answer.
3 Hz = 21.600 A/h. This is a choice and not more that this… today there are no real disadvantages… The Nomos DUW 6101 is a very accurate and reliable calibre …
@@WatchAdvisor Thank you for your reply, now it seems it works when I try to screw back in from the red paint notification position I got that vibration feeling.
Thank you Alexander for this review and the part about accuracy, it's the one info you can't find on the internet !! Do you have other accuracy measurements of Nomos movements? Are they all as precise as this one?
What size wrists would you say this fits? Usually I aim around 38-41mm with only a 6.25 or so inch wrist, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Mainly concerned about the lug to lug fit
My wrist size is 17 cm/ 6,7 in ... for me the Club Sport is perfect, since I very much like big watches ... The best to do always is to try a watch on your wrist... Only then you will know if it fits or not...
Very cool watch. The bracelet it's a Paul Picot bracelet, but not the clasp. Blue Dial it's beautiful, even if, the black one with the yellow contrast is better. They should have thought a different colour (Red? Green?) for this version, still, a very cool watch and a real "different" dive watch.
The design does not belong to anyone… it is a common bracelet design that we all have seen before and decades before others had already seen before and so on…
@@WatchAdvisor the other bracelet was more Nomos, what you just wrote just tell me that this one it's a common bracelet for X brands... Anyway I like the idea to have a pilot watch that can dive
@@WatchAdvisor yes, I understand that many didn't like the other bracelet, even me, until, i saw it in person, and, I couldn't agree more with Nomos "spirit"
The Nomos "spirit" in general is a very good one! But people like classic bracelets and the Nomos-own design is pretty special... Why do you think all brands do offer these classic design?
This is the way forward in terms of general watch public brand awareness and appreciation. I really like the watch as it ticks almost all the boxes even though the power reserve is not outstanding which I’m sure overtime will be increased yet I hope Nomos consider using Nivachron for the balance hairspring in the future as it is an alloy and not silicon which is non-repairable and not in keeping with the spirit of mechanical watches. Otherwise I score this time piece 9.15 overall. For the savvy watch lover or collector this is a must have timepiece.Instant trans-generational classic. Once a year or so I take great pleasure in taping up (with masking tape) and buffing out with a fine polishing compound light scratch marks and restoring former glory which enables me to participate in the final stage of production and therefore consider myself an active watch collector. Nomos have reset the benchmark for entry-level luxury steel tmepieces. The holy Trinity et al may now go and pour themselves a very stiff drink! I like that you wear gloves while handling timepieces as this is professional!
I understand you and I thank you for sharing your thoughts with us… If the other bracelet would have been that successful Nomos would have not introduced this one… the reactions to the “new” bracelet are overwhelming I hear, so it was the missing link …
@@WatchAdvisor Perfect! if they discontinue the old bracelet it'll be worth a fortune. The oyster is bog standard and will collect the droning masses whilst the old one will be a connoisseurs wet dream.
Both watches offer lots of value for the money, a very good quality and design... The Longines calibres nowadays are exclusive calibres manufactured by ETA for Longines, so also in terms of movement the watches are comparable... Longines though has the advantage of having access to silicon hairsprings and therefore offers a better protection against magnetic fields ...
@@WatchAdvisor Agreed. One of my collecting goals is to own a piece from Nomos, GO, and Lange. I already own the GO evo Chrono. Maybe this Nomos is my next piece. The prospective Lange is a grail for me. It will take some very good fortune.

I literally sold the watch to me during filming it ... I fell in love with it and decided to order one... Now let's see when I will get it ... I will slowly start to show more often how the watches perform on my measuring instrument ... promised!
Alexander just subscribed from Malaysia! Thanks for your wonderful contents.
Thank you 🙏🏻 and welcome to WatchAdvisor!
That blue dial looks really good
Yes it does in fact! I will buy me the watch… as mentioned in the video…
I like it better than most Nomos. The dial color is superb.
Being spoilt for choice ... That's what we need and like 😉 ... By the way, I fully agree with what you wrote!
7:30 date window position. You are absolutely right, Alexander.
Here the date window is definitely where it should be… and it looks great IMHO!
@@WatchAdvisor Si.
Buen trabajo Alexander 👍
Gracias!
Nice content , Alexander.
Like Always.
I have nomos whatches.
They are acurate.
I am not surprised by your measurement.
Sadly, too much Big for me.
Hope that nomos Will launch smaller itérations !
Good weekend, Alexander !
Thank you 🙏🏻! Then the watch must be powered by another calibre… the DUW 6101 is flat but huge…
I have buy this watch in black dial the 22 December.. the accuracy is incredibly
Running at 0.0 spd. Sometimes it is +2 .
Anyway in all these days of use, the time is the same to my iPhone. I mean the seconds. I love this watch
Thanks for sharing! That's a wonderful feedback! Congratulations to your Club Sport, it may always show you happy seconds, minutes and hours!
That bracelet is a big improvement but wished it was all brushed steel.
Tastes are different!
I have a Nomos Club 37mm with 18mm lugs. If they sold this bracelet in 18mm, I would buy it right now.
This bracelet will make its way into the Nomos collections... The reactions to it are so positive, that Nomos has no other choice...
I was torn between the Glashütte Original SeaQ and getting another Nomos. I think this is the watch!
Congratulations! Both watches are excellent… it is not easy to decide…
Another beautiful watch from Nomos 💙
For me perfection would have been a no date version in 38 mm, but anyway it looks great.
You never know if they will release a smaller no-date version later…
Looks great. Good idea of Nomos to target the mainstream audience. 42mm is a tad bit big, for a watch with that much dial, but it is the correct size for the movement.
Yes, why not? The demand is there ... what I heard after one day is that this Club Sport exceeds all expectations ... now Nomos must manufacture and deliver ...
Gorgeous watch. Going to buy this one. Alexander please can you show yours with alternative straps as suggested. Would really appreciate it. 👍
Wonderful idea! Congratulations! For the moment I can’t show it since the watch I filmed is already back in Glashütte at Nomos. I ordered mine only after filming and now have to wait as all the others… Once I have it I will add pictures in the community section of the channel.
Finely, that watch looks good, no lego block indicators, no stupid bling, no confusing extras.. GOOD.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and passion with us! 👍🏻
Excellent video and review! I think I will add this to my collection. Nomos is truly incredible 😎👍🏼
Thanks for sharing our passion! Let me know if you have any questions and keep us posted…
I wish they would focus more on 38mm watches. The brand is always so close yet so far away for me. Ridiculous large lugs across sizes ruins it for me.
You should try the Club Sport on your wrist... only then you know if it is "ridiculous" ... in case you do and you change your mind, let us know 😉
@@WatchAdvisor he prob has under 7 inch wrist
37mm is out now. Please don't say "they should focus on 36mm more" 😉
Agreed
Love the date location... not like other watch which have "middle dial" date.
The date is where it should be…
@@WatchAdvisor I agree if you are into dates. This watch would would be beautifull date free.
@@predrag_stamen Could be an option to make version without date - yes!
@@WatchAdvisor Looking forward to that one!
That Watch also has a safety Date feature, which not alows to switch dates in certain hours.
Correct! You can change the date whenever you want and also turn it back ...
I really like this watch it has so many great features. Good breakdown. thank you

@@WatchAdvisor Im hoping to pick up the black one soon.
@@elefantrising I keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Seriously, its like they don't want to sell to the majority of the world. 52mm lug to lug? Almost no one wants that.
A great video review Alexander once again. I will (try) to be brief.
Likes:
- The sunburst dial is wonderful
- The lume look brilliant
- Simple and easy to read at a glance
- Date back ground is colour matched to the dial
Could do better:
- I would loose the text "1000ft" at the six position and move the date window to that position. They can put the pressure rating on the case back. Why do we need the pressure rating on the dial of a non diving watch?
- Lug to lug may be OK for me but I would prefer female end links but at 52mm this is extended effectively by the male end links
More likes than could do better so definitely worth a look.
Anthony thanks for your summary and kind feedback! What about the price? The package you get IMHO is amazing... Do you agree?
Super Video von einer tollen Uhr! 👍👍

An amazing package forsure! I was not a fan of the old club sport bracelet (and it seems you were not either), let's hope they also offer the black dial variant with this bracelet, as I love the bronze colours that show on the black sunburst dial
The bracelet are interchangeable… so it should be possible to get the black dial version with this new bracelet…
@@WatchAdvisor most definitely, I just hope nomos releases the bracelet separately or the black one with the new bracelet!:)
It looks awesome! I own a Nomos ahoi Atlantik Datum and im happy to see that Nomos fleshes out their sporty lines a bit more.
Correct, this was long overdue! The response to this Club Sport is overwhelming…
Love this Nomos watch!
There is also a version with a black dial, but with another bracelet... Have you seen it? If yes, which one do you prefer?
@@WatchAdvisor I preferred the blue dial. I do have the original Club 40 and I love it.
@@jamesbui2695 I hear you! Blue 🔵 is the new black… 😉
Nice video and really nice model. I have metro neomatic 41 with the same movement, unfortunately it is lot more than +3 sec/day.
VERY appealing this model now!. Please let us know if those long lugs get in the way or snag on anything in the future videos.
It’s 300 meter waterproof and only 10,2 mm thick!!! 😜
Great review. Fab dial and I like the new bracelet (not a fan of the old one). Unfortunately, 42mm is slightly too big on my 5.5 inch wrist. The accuracy I am very impressed with.
You must try the Club Sport on your wrist ... only then you will know if it fits or not ...
Alex, it looks like there is a half-link on the 6 o’clock side of the bracelet. This, in combination with the three micro adjustment holes should allow a perfect fit for almost all users.
Absolutely! That for sure works! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
(Guess I will find out in a week.)
This is not a limited edition.
My little regret. Should have ordered on the spot! Now I have to wait 2 months instead of a week.
Amazing accuracy, they should METAS certify these.
METAS can’t be achieved with such a watch… accuracy is only one point… Please read the requirements… www.metas.ch/metas/en/home/dok/rechtliches/Zertifizierung_Uhren.html
I want this bracelet for my tangente Sport neomatik . Hoping nomos will someday create new bracelets that fit for these watches too..
Good 👍🏼 input! Thanks for sharing…
Gorgeous review! Amazed by the quality of this watch. Congratulations on adding it to your collection!
I'm days away from buying my next timepiece. Still undecided between Nomos Club Sport 42 black and IWC Mark XX black. Any thoughts on this?
The only thing you can do is to compare them 1:1 on your wrist in different light conditions… then let your heart decide, it won’t lie…
@@markus5159 so which one did you end up buying?
Yes. I wanted a blue dial steel watch.
There it is! Do you like it? Have you seen the price? 3120 EUR inly. 19 % VAT!!!
@@WatchAdvisor Wanted datejust 41 blue dial in the first place, but....premium no good...I prefer Nomos' display case back + affordibility.
I also will buy one right now!!
Wonderful! Let me know if you have any questions…
Thanks for your great video. Is 3Hz, 21.600 half beats correct? Sound's a little bit disappointing. I 'm interested in the Tangente sport ... with this caliber. Thanks for your answer.
3 Hz = 21.600 A/h. This is a choice and not more that this… today there are no real disadvantages… The Nomos DUW 6101 is a very accurate and reliable calibre …
look up any 20,000+ dollar watch…they all use 3hz movement 😂 it’s for a reason
I wish it was offered on a 38/39 size…
This could be the case in near future… Wait! 😉

@@WatchAdvisor thank u taking the time to reply. Just one quick question once I screw back, I get the shaking feeling? That's usual
@@winhteinlin1 What exactly do you mean with “screw back”?
@@WatchAdvisor Thank you for your reply, now it seems it works when I try to screw back in from the red paint notification position I got that vibration feeling.
Thank you Alexander for this review and the part about accuracy, it's the one info you can't find on the internet !! Do you have other accuracy measurements of Nomos movements? Are they all as precise as this one?
Nomos calibres perform very good in general, but this new calibre outperforms them all...
Wish it was 40mm but it’s still a good looking watch
Difficult task though... the DUW 6101 is a flat, but huge calibre... it needs space...
Very nice
I agree! What did you like most?
Did you you listen to what I said in the video about the bracelet?
@@WatchAdvisor yes, I understand that many didn't like the other bracelet, even me, until, i saw it in person, and, I couldn't agree more with Nomos "spirit"
The Nomos "spirit" in general is a very good one! But people like classic bracelets and the Nomos-own design is pretty special... Why do you think all brands do offer these classic design?
With the DUW 6101 you can set the date in either direction too!
Yes! And you can’t harm the movement… whenever you want to change the date…
Awesome watch, 131 gram on steel is better good. great review!!
I am happy to read that! Thanks for sharing our passion!
Thanks for sharing your passion and thoughts with us! One little thing I want to add: Nomos uses its own balance springs … I mention it in the video…
@@WatchAdvisor 🙏🏽
I frankly prefer the previous bracelet which was unique and not seen on any other watch. The new one is just another oyster bracelet, as you say.
Nice watch!
Thank you for the kind information and review.
How do you compare it to the Longines Spirit?
Both watches offer lots of value for the money, a very good quality and design... The Longines calibres nowadays are exclusive calibres manufactured by ETA for Longines, so also in terms of movement the watches are comparable... Longines though has the advantage of having access to silicon hairsprings and therefore offers a better protection against magnetic fields ...
@@WatchAdvisor Thank you very much for you honest reply.
Alexander, Question: is it possible to get this bracelet exchanged at the previous Tangente Sport and Club Sport Neomatik?
The bracelets are interchangeable if the the size (20 mm) in between the lugs is the same…
Why buckle is mirror polished?!?
So you can see every scratch 😂
Good guess 😜😂
@@WatchAdvisor It is a scratch magnet. I have the other metal bracelet with a very similar buckle. It scratches easily, shame.
