Join us on this special Christmas adventure! We visit the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad to board the Polar Express. Western Maryland 1309 will pull us to the North Pole!(somewhere west of Cumberland Maryland) 1309 is an articulating mallet steam locomotive, a 2-6-6-2, the largest operating in the east. The kids really enjoy this adventure and it even includes a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Yes! Any time we can get on a steam train, is a good experience, but this one is really special!

I remember setting up Lionels with my grandfather when I was a kid, some of my best memories. My parents have them setup now, we were just up there with the kids and they seem to like them just as much as I do. Merry Christmas and happy hiking!
