Join us on this special rail-fan adventure!
We’re stopping by the oldest operational narrow gauge railroad in the country, The East Broad Top RR! The railroad reopened in 2021 and returned to steam in 2023.
#16 has been totally overhauled and brought back to life after 60+ years of slumber. We’ve been wanting to get out there, see #16, and go for a ride!
This experience was everything we could’ve hoped for. This short trip provides great views of the Pennsylvania countryside, which is what this channel is all about. This is a great ride for families, and our children really enjoyed this experience.
We got a combination ticket, which allowed us to experience the Rockhill Trolley Museum as well. This is another historical experience, where trolleys from all over the world are kept in working order. We got to experience one from San Diego, which took us for a ride down East Broad Top’s Shade Gap Branch.

Even after spending this past week down in the pit, shoved up into the trucks of a passenger car, taking disc brake assemblies off to renew the friction material to shove my self backup in the grease and dust to put them back on...I thoroughly enjoyed going on the train ride and trolley slide with you guys.
We saw the Steam Engine coming to life when we were headed from Tuscarora to Buchanan in July.
The open air cars were cool. And great weather for a ride in one!
Loved seeing the country side. We have been planning a trip on them for the last few years...hoping to go at some point.

Very cool. I definitely want to check this place out - especially since I know exactly where it is now - always great when history can be preserved .
I think it’s great how much we do manage to preserve. I like seeing these things that are basically a memorial to those that built this country. It’s amazing how much infrastructure was here in PA and so much is lost. You’d never know an area like Orbisonia was a booming city!
This was great! We got to ride a historic steam train in Nevada earlier this year and it was awesome. Looking forward to more videos from this place, really neat! - Heather
There’s a lot of these excursions throughout the country, all unique experiences. I hope to get on as many of them as possible!
First off Merry Christmas to you guys, second I finally have the time to catch up on some videos, that was an awesome tour, hard to beat a nice train ride…thought your video of the loading process was cool to see, and your tour of San Diego gave us a laugh. Like I said before your camera quality is amazing man it’s making me rethink my GoPro decision lol, cya on the next one buddy!

I appreciate you watching as always! We arrived at EBT extra early to get footage of it coming into the station (something I missed when we did the polar express last year). The San Diego thing was kinda cool, interesting to see a more modern take on trolleys.
This looks like so much fun. We did the Jim Thorpe train ride last year. Have you been on that one yet?
I’ve heard of that one, but never been there. I hope to make it back out that way this summer, lots of things on my “to do” list in that direction!
