the specific kill you showed already makes it worth in my opinion. You aren’t getting a fly hiding on the window blinds like that with a swatter

My only concern is the amount of salt I have to clean up after killing 20 flies. This seems fun to use though

I bought the first generation. It was called Bug-a-Sugar. Worked great but my house is now full of ants! I’m kidding of course!! Definitely going to get one.

What about all the salt scattered over the house? In humid climates it just turns to salty wet spots and will corrode some surfaces.
Have you tried sugar instead?
It's literally a pinch and it doesn't group together
The amount that comes out is so small it won't make a difference to anything other than the fly

How much does effectiveness drop as range increases? It looks powerful, but the clips you showed were almost point-blank.
I'd say the kill range is around 30cm or 12 inches

I use a small powerful handheld vacuum cleaner to suck bugs & spiders up. Works a treat and they’re not harmed. I initially started doing it for bees that came inside but now everything gets saved 🐝
Why would you save a fly or mosquito you are just adding you transmitting diseases

That's cruel, Huntsman spiders are useful. Should never kill spiders.
Bugasalt does not back up its product. Cock mechanism quit working and they do not supply replacement parts.

I don’t think you want to use this indoor. You will end up cleaning all the salt every where
I just got one and it’s awful, it only slightly stuns the flies! I’ve used it close up and it still won’t kill them.
Maybe you got a faulty unit. Hehe. I got mine on the porch today, and I've all but rid my house of flies in a mere hr. And you feel like a badass.
You could try rock salt ground up. Seems to hit harder. Or contact bug a salt for swap over

Garbage. You will be wasting your money. Doesn't kill anything. It's weak. I was hoping it was going to be cool but I assure you that it is junk. I am hoping that I can prevent at least one person from wasting their money

in all the videos I see of this expensive salt gun, it doesn't seem any more effective then a cheap fly swapper.
But!! nowhere near as fun!
It’s way easier to sneak up on the fly. Plus if they are in a weird spot fly swappers can’t reach.
I agree with this lol. I was able to purchase the 3.0 for 25 dollars and if i paid around 50+ id definitely be disappointed with the performance. The gun is definitely fun and im glad i was able to purchase it for so cheap i would of never purchased it if not.
It's good for narrow spaces or high up on walls where a fly swatter can't reach. I managed to nail a nasty spider hiding behind the air conditioner with it.
Then keep your fly swapper lol I use the bug slayer

In my experience you have the best results inside 60cm - on the box it says 3 feet for 90cm.
