There might be a simple way to add a weight that pivots and has leverage, so that no matter how it lands (whichever direction the kinetic energy goes) it will release the firing pin. Like in one direction the weight will pull the firing pin off just by inertia... but then if it hits the ground in the opposite direction it will have a leverage in that direction which will also force the firing pin off the ledge. It would be a very simple design also. You could also have two sides of a ledge where if it lands on either side, one of the sides will be kicked outward and release the firing pin from inertia (with the firing pin holding on in the middle). You could even make it a 4-way, so if any one of the 4 sides are "tripped" from the inertia, the firing pin will be released. Sorry if these aren't the best descriptions. It's not always easy to explain 3d mechanisms with just words.
These are really reliable when you shave the firing pin down to make it more round even on grass, but a timed version would be awesome I can ask them about that 🫡

It’s been a blast! It looks amazing and works practically 100% on concrete/ hard surfaces ! CQB players don’t stand a chance !

Needs a timmer. Impact is to unrelyable.
