I'm a boxer/coach and I'm going to incorporate this on the days I don't do deadlifts. I already adore and believe in ballet and encourage all my clients/students to explore the benefits. We'll see how it goes..... 🙂

I go for it daily, and my petit battement is beginning to take shape, but my grand plié is still a disaster, so I have a long way to go, but who cares, I am only 82.

Beautiful! Just when you bend in half to stretch, release your head and neck to elongate the spine and avoid injury. The heaviness of the head will also help the stretch using gravity ❤
This is by far the best ballet conditioning video. It nearly targets all ballet related muscle groups and works other stabilizing muscles. I have done this for nearly 2 years and I now do this series with weights

To strengthen the ankles and knees you first need to concentrate to build the strength in the core and hip areas. They provide a major support for the lower body. This workout is perfect for it

Thank you so much for the video! Pilates is interesting, one of my favorite ballerinas, Olga Smirnova from Bolshoi, also loves pilates, and I think she has the most beautiful ballet body. Strong and muscular, but at the same time slim and tall. I think pilates shapes the body really well

I like the music as well. Can you tell me what music you used or maybe post this in the description box? I alternate between the legs when lifting them to the back and side from the position on all fours on the ground. For me (as an amateur) I find it to be a bit more easy to keep up the repetitions and tempo that way 😅 Anyway, thanks again for all your great content and versatile combinations and excercises. 😄😄They are really helpful! And keep up my spirits during these boring (although mandatory) stay-at-home times 🤗

However I would love it if you would warn us that we are working the same leg 3x...different exercises. Because I thought we switched legs...so I was off the whole set 😂. Could somebody please explain me the purpose of pointy feet while doing these exercises? I don’t dance but would love to know more about ballet ☺️
Pointy feet add the tension by connecting the muscles in the whole leg area, shape the calf as well as improve the results for your thighs/hips
It also makes the line of the legs longer
