    Thank you so much!!! My rental place had two wire shelves spaced unreasonably narrow that I can’t fit any of my storage boxes in there! I was hesitant to remove them since I don’t know how to deal with damaged walls. I just removed one of them and left only a couple small holes that I was able to patch! It opens up so much space for my boxes

    I’ve taken these shelves down before by myself. In some cases I created to much damage with removing the brackets. Why did it take me until now to see this video? More than 3 years after it was posted!!! The shelves and the small hooks weren’t my problem. The difficult part was the end brackets. After seeing this video I was able to remove those brackets with minimal damage!! I will say, though, the nails used for my brackets were pretty deep so i used a box cutter to “get behind” the nail to push it out far enough to then pull the nail out. It was amazing!!! Thank you!!!

      Usually the holes are too big to reinstall in that spot. Unless you patch well and re-drill

      Usually they don’t put them into studs.
