What the hell man. A true fisherman don’t fish off of a yacht is a matter of fact most true fishers would consider this a yacht “a fishing yacht”. This thing is amazing he has everything he needs to fish and do it in style plus he can do it knowing he built this wonderful boat on his own. So show us what you have built that’s so much better. If you don’t have anything nice to say do t say anything this man worked hard and you mock him for it. Shame on you! I just want to say to the man that built this I think you did a amazing job it takes skill and patience to build something with this much technical design. I mean you have made the Swiss army knife Equivalency of a fishing boat. My son is an avid fisher and would go nuts over this boat. Great job and thank you for taking the time out to record and share your hard work with us.
Simplicity and utility. That's the best way to do anything. No need for unnecessary aesthetics. Common sense design looks the best anyway. I would personally make it even more simple, and allow for better access to the internal structure of the boat for easy repairs, should anything get beaten up, but other than that, I can't imagine a better designed boat. I wouldn't change a thing.
Man you did a tremendous job. This boat has everything a fisherman needs and you can feel good about yourself knowing you put in the hard work and didn’t just go to the dealership. Great job and thank you for sharing your an inspiration to fisherman and boat builders alike. Truly a great job!
Varnce; hmm I’ve always had the opposite experience. One time My boat was taking on water it was to heavy to plane and we needed to get to shore fast so I had 2 of my friends sit on the bow and poof we were up on a plane. Idk about the stress part that may be true but I cant believe the batteries and live well could be heavy enough to stress an aluminum boat of this size hey but I’m not a boat builder so what do I know.
I would like to say I’m a very avid fisherman and a boat enthusiast. I have always dreamed of building a boat and you have made this possible for me! I have followed every video and have been patiently waiting for the end result! Keep doing what you do it’s an inspiration to all motivated people!

Nice job on the boat. You can see lots of thought has been put into it, not to mention LOTS of work, great job. I know you'll enjoy that boat for years to come. Can't wait to see it run down the lake. Followed the entire process, and it was quite a good series. Hope you can start getting more videos out, now that the boat is pretty much completed.
What a phenomenal boat! Congratulations on achieving your dream to build a 25’ custom designed boat. I’ve enjoyed the entire series and really appreciate all the effort you put into the videoing, explanations and editing. Well done! All I need now is to see a test drive and the painted finished boat. Best wishes from Australia. Cheers. Jeff
OUTSTANDING!!!! Probably one of the best boat builds I have watched to date!!! Makes my boat "rebuild" look like kids play!!!😀😀 You did good, brother!!!!
im a trapper from ohio. thats how i first started watching your channel.when you first started this thing i thought, he's nuts, what a waste of time and money. brother you changed my mind to say the least. dang that thing is decked out! WOW! i would of had to take out a second mortgage. im sure it is rock solid. very well thought out . good job!
Your fabrication skills are top notch. Alumacraft needs to consult you and your ideas, you've got money waiting out there for you! Patent that track system. Great build, can't wait for trapping season 👍👍
Congrats !!! Been following you through this. This is no small feat and what a boat !! Had me cracking up when you said " this motor will flat get it" :) The thought process and "functionality " and quality is just second to none. You did it right my friend .
I think you have done a great jod with your videos. I have learned alot from watching you create your boat. Glad you have the opportunity to that. Greater jod overall.
Don't you ever sell that boat, you'll never find another like it. It's a one of a kind, and the first you ever built. Probably the envy of anyone who sees it, I know I envy you and your boat. Now you can quit your job and make more money having adventures on your boat, trapping in the winter and fishing when the ice is gone. Tight lines and happy fishing! 👍😎
@Phil Veburst based on comments I'm really NOT alone in my opionion. Who the fuck took a shit in your grapenuts this morning you cranky old coot?!?!??!?
I know nothing about aluminum or metal pricing but If I had to guess, I'd say 8500 for aluminum and weld material. Not sure of the thickness either but I'd guess 3/16 sides and quarter bottom
im guessing the video of the boat planing is a ways off yet. its absolutely obvious that this hull will have massive cavitation issues and this will stem 100% from the poor bow design and 27 degree pitch busting straight onto a near flat bottom of 15 degrees stern to bow pitching. ..... whats scrap aluminium worth? should get about a grand or two.
Dude mad respect for you!!! I am so glad you did these videos because I want to do something similar. I learned a lot and made me rethink design a bit! Thank you!
Great job! Really enjoyed watching it all come together. I personally prefer hydroturf in a boat to linex, but can't really go wrong with either. Look forward to seeing some fishing videos from this boat in the future. It's obvious to us who fish out of boats that you have paid close attention to how the boat is going to be fished from and set up to be efficient at it. You'll enjoy this boat for years to come!
That's a Great Job, I like the way you think, trying it out before finishing it up, that is the only way to really know, what is going to help or hinder. I just caught this one. I will go back and watch the building videos. Again Great Job.
What a fantastic job you have done, that is one fine fishing boat. You really put a hell of a lot of thought into it. Great job, really looking forward to the fishing vids. Al
dude that shits fucking big.. dont know how many people are smart / skilled enough to build a boat like this..seriously man what a beautiful boat very nice set up its amazing
yep absolutely the battery is next to fuel tank thats how our boat was . I love this build very detailed and such a wonderful boat . you thought of everything . makes me want to do a welding course and then see if i am any good at it. cheers
bro , dont even think for a second of what ppl say about this and that , this boat is amazing and YOU BUILT IT !!!! must be the best feeling dont let idiots in the comments talk down on it bro , well done bro !! epic
Coon creek sir I'm impressed This is by far the most well executed boat build video on youtube I'll leave you with a piece of advice never tell your wife how much this boat really cost to build...
I like it, two weeks and alot of interruptions, just flip 22 foot 3 inch over.. Retired so kinda how had time to stay on it. You inspired me to do it. You can teach an old dog tricks.
Your design, build & documentation was genius ✊🏾 I just binge watched the whole boat build. This is a project that I’ve been mulling over to start but out of wood (Jon boat, float bottom design). I do have a few questions: 1) Will you do a video on cost analysis of this build? 2) Will you do a video on the boat’s performance? 3) Is there anything you’d do differently? Again, this was a great series of videos, definitely gave me some motivation.
You did a great job on the boat and looking forward to the fishing videos. Your explanations have been good so that we get more of a perspective into what your doing and why. Great job! Just watching your video make me wish the ice was out here, still about another month to go till ice out...
Damn STU what a amazing boat that you built well thought out and the tools that you used to build it I Watched other boat builds and they sure did have alot more high tech tools than what you used once again just amazing. Also enjoyed Catfish Weekly with you on it.
I've learned a lot by watching your videos, and watching this series, I've come to the conclusion that I will not be tackling a boat build. Lol. Looks good. Nothing more gratifying and satisfying than doing something on your own. Good job!
👍🏽 awesome !!! You should give me a ring when you come to Canada ! Happy to accommodate you and go fishing for Muskie, lake trout, small and large mouth bass, monster northern pike !! Stay safe and happy fishing !!👍🏽
God bless you ! Well Done! Truly inspirational . Today's youth really needs to see all your videos. Trapping especially. Becoming a lost art. Or should I say, politically incorrect. "Remember boys, your pinkee finger extended when you set your 110. That's proper.." lol. May God be with you in all your endeavours.
I would like to know what was necessary to get the boat inspection and approval by coast guard or other authorities to get it approved and licensed. I would like to see it run.
One comment about the last 30 seconds of the vid though. I know you said guys commented about putting the batteries and the tank in the same place. I don't think its a huge deal, but, have you considered putting a vent on it just so any vapors that do occur don't build up? Just the old widow shutter type that keeps the rain out but vents real nice. I'm guessing you could build one better than you could buy it.
Congratulations to you for hanging in there to finish the boat project. Its eazier to get burned out on a project than most people think ( Ive burned out on a 10 year project after 5 years myself ). When it does happen, its very hard to get restarted. My hat's off to you for that !!! In my opinion you have done an amazing job, both in planning and execution. Now you can keep the rewards !!! Good fishing !
Thank you for sharing all the videos of your build. What a beauty. If you have not painted the inside yet, you may consider Raptor bed liner. It was going to be $600 for my short bed truck for lineX. For kits, brushes, tape, plastic and other misc. items, I have $200 in it. It can also be sprayed. If you had to in the future, it can be ground off, welded and repainted. Looking forward to seeing it on the water. (I have no interest in Raptor, just sharing my experience)
Just a tip that you may not have seen.... That cutting board knife holder leaves your entire blade exposed and dangling down. I'd recommend attaching something to cover that blade up.

With all that waste of material and time and money you could build a beautiful yacht and you can use it for fishing also, but unfortunately no taste
everyone's a critic.
What the hell man. A true fisherman don’t fish off of a yacht is a matter of fact most true fishers would consider this a yacht “a fishing yacht”. Dumbass
@@timwegman5776 yes, a man who wants to catch a fish from his yacht becomes a little girl, its something you can test.
Well done

You did a great job on this boat. Proud of you
You made the best boat build on TH-cam.You also build the best boat on TH-cam. Thanks for taking us through the build, learned a lot. Fish On.
Nice boat man, finally someone smart enough to put the live well and batteries in the front of the dam boat.
Varnce; hmm I’ve always had the opposite experience. Dude, that is freaking awesome!! Great job, man! Watching the build has been fun, keep up the good work!
We are dying to see this thing on plane. What was your cost just for the Aluminum I am curious it would be cool to see a parts list just for the Metal
It's messed up he liked your comment without replying.
I know nothing about aluminum or metal pricing but If I had to guess, I'd say 8500 for aluminum and weld material. Not sure of the thickness either but I'd guess 3/16 sides and quarter bottom

Flippin’ Sweet!
I’d like to know an in general cost for the complete boat. Looks like she was built right. Also, did you name her yet?
Man. What an accomplishment !! So bad ass brother you killed it. That is the sickest boat !!!
Everthing that you have done is brilliant plus I have enjoyed all of the building videos great job
Great Job on everything!! I've watched every video on the build.Wish I lived in your area so you could take me fishing!!!
You did a great job on the boat and looking forward to the fishing videos. Your explanations have been good so that we get more of a perspective into what your doing and why. Great job! Just watching your video make me wish the ice was out here, still about another month to go till ice out...
Great Thought and work went into your boat. Looking forward to video where you fish and use the features you put into it. Congrats on a job well done!

May God be with you in all your endeavours.
Outstanding job. Wish I had the skills to build like that
Awesome, It turned out great and will be a lifetime boat for sure.
Great looking boat there glad to see it is in the water now. I think i like the trolling motor the best 😉
Bad ass boat with the best motor you could buy. You found how to get the boat exactly how you like. Do it yourself.
I would like to know what was necessary to get the boat inspection and approval by coast guard or other authorities to get it approved and licensed.
I would like to see it run.
Great looking boat. Great job on the boat. Thanks for sharing
It's been awesome watching you build this beast. I wanna see it heavy chop!
One comment about the last 30 seconds of the vid though. I know you said guys commented about putting the batteries and the tank in the same place. Looks good so far, and between navy, comercial fishing, and sport fishing, I have a fair idea of what I'd go on the water with. Have a good one.
Dang this boat turned out good. Haha to all those critics in the beginning telling you what they thought you needed to do.
Best boat ever. Thanks for sharing. Best musky fishing in lake st Claire. Used to go everyyear.
What an awesome job buddy, thanks for sharing !!!
Nice video series. .I am looking forward to seeing it running on the water and being used while catching some good fish.
Great job !!! It looks awesome.. Congrats and good fishing..
That boat looks perfect just perfect
Awesome, I was wondering if you'd ever get it done!! Just in time for Crappie fishing!!!
That is one nice fishing machine. nice work.
Amazing job!! Turned out really nice!!
Thank you for sharing all the videos of your build. What a beauty. If you have not painted the inside yet, you may consider Raptor bed liner. It was going to be $600 for my short bed truck for lineX. Awesome boat! I am a catfish tournament angler fishing tournaments through out the country. I want to upgrade to those seats.
If manufacturers would build a boat like this WOW !!!!
Absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing your story, amazing.
Congratulation's Captain! Frankly, it's the best rigged trailer boat I've seen.
Well done. I watched from the start . Enjoy !
Just a tip that you may not have seen.... That cutting board knife holder leaves your entire blade exposed and dangling down. I'd recommend attaching something to cover that blade up.
Great Job! I can’t wait to see you run it!
Damn nice boat, don't know what you have vested but it's worth just guessing is about 25 Large. Ready for you to invite me to go fishing. Also want to give you a That a boy on taking care of your elders by giving them fish Damn Nice wish they were more people like you!
Nice job. Very inspirational. Thanks for making the vids
THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!! AWESOME, JOB LOVED ALL THE VIDEOS.
