We built this 10m catamaran on our Croft in Shetland for Willie and Jane in Isle Ewe. It was a great job even through the pandemic. Hope you like it. Subscribe if you like. Cheers 🍻

This is the type of thing people need to hear you speak about, how long it took..the cost of materials.dont let good work like this waste away..people could learn a lot form you with some examples and commentary. great job.

Thanks, I probably should try do more with it. I’m working every day making new boats and repairing old ones. It’s just hard to remember about setting up cameras when the customer is waiting so most of the time I just take a picture. I mostly make the video diaries to remind myself what I did haha. My memory is useless. Cheers Douglas 👍

Indeed, cost is the crucial part of any DIY project, and people love to know about it the most

The most understated video I've seen on the internet.
The "steel project" outside made me pause the video.
    Wild.

Thank you very much. If you look at the little video of “MV Vesper” that’s the steel boat outside now. I was going to make video of her build to.

thanks for not putting crappy music or a dull narrative that explains nothing of importance. great job all round.

how many of you working on it?
    whats the weight?

Hi, thank you very much. It was a lot of work and quite hard to keep going through the lockdown but done now. It took 8 months and there was 3 before lockdown and 2 of us finished it in the last three months. It was only 7 tons and at the time the materials cost was approximately £45k. Cheers

Hi Jerry, most of the boats are quite basic inside or finished by the owners so I don’t get a chance to see it sometimes as they go to the mainland UK. I will do my best to get a few interior images or video on the next videos. Cheers, Tommy
