@Classic OLTL yes u are amazing. Seeing a lot of this for the first time & ur incredible putting it up at 2pm. So when I get to these videos I'm thinking of yt like the old school vcr's at the time like back then when I watched after school. I remembered watching bits & pieces of badderly but to watch it all in uts entirety is amazing. Over the years from yt or tapes I got from other fans of certain couples I missed still huge chunks of storyline. Like I recall really loving Jake & megan particularly seeing for years her death & Jake busting through the door just in time & viki seeing him sobbing & hugging Jake I lose it everytime. I think I watched the very start of Jake & megan but I remembered not being as hooked on oltl as a whole cause I really missed Andrea & jdp leaving within a month of the other. From ur videos starting in late 88 89 & now we are up to Aug 90 seeing it all together I've learned or really loved 2 couples that I'd not seen. Originally I loved Gabrielle & max. Now yes I still love their chemistry but watching again I actually thought Gabrielle was way better w/ Micheal! Their chemistry was actually better. Gabs was Also on the whole of that relationship way toned down instead of her as Fiona said " demonic " obsession w/ max. Her obsession was not there however when jdp left the show the 1st time in Dec 88 & returned spring of 89. The show not sure if he would return had Gabrielle way more into Micheal than they rewrote during the trial in late 89. She was pretty much over max & very much into a future w/ Micheal even begging him to sleep w/ her when eterna was crumbling around their heads. So they were great when they ran the gamut of lovers to lovers/schemers to dear friends when Alicia came on as micheals not so estranged pregnant wife. Then when she died had gabby not switched the babies they were really good together actually falling in love & almost married. During the trial they def cheapened their deep relationship as gabby was just using Steven to gold dig Micheal & become a wealthy step mom & Micheal suddenly saying out of anger & being made a chump of that he only was w/ Gabrielle cause Steven needed a mom. That wasn't how it was. Micheal def always was very attracted to Gabrielle & when max won custody of al , Micheal as a close friend w/ Alicia back was there to help her as max pushed past her w/ al in his arms. I get she cracked him w/ a vase but it was crazy this guy who was nothing to al for over 2 years suddenly wanted this kid back w/ a passion. Where was he when Gabrielle was raising him w/ his brother than when they divorced on her own as a single mom. I was stunned when max first went to John & John pointed out that max never even bothered to est paternity of al. That's why during the custody he was called " al medina " I realized oltl was actually consistent. Al being born in secret in a shack in the jungle tina & Gabrielle forged a birth cert somehow. Once the al secret blew & cord agreed not to contest custody I assume a new birth certificate in the US was done or possibly an original one in Argentina where he was born. So max not being very interested in al & very happy to push his brother to raise the child I assume Gabrielle & al became citizens of the u.s. when she married Steve. Steve was even calling al " our son " to the small llainfair crowd at their wedding to best man & bio dad max. So honestly al being in real time about 2 I'd think max not being his legal father & no kind of paternity testing or being married or even max signing the birth certificate as John was saying max was just the bio dad b/c Gabrielle & tina admitted it. But legally id think Gabrielle would be home free. Their was no proof he was als dad legally in anyway. So thats how little max thought of that child. He really never even payed child support which Gabrielle s lawyer pointed out. Anyway my point is I'm thrilled seeing these tapes that I found a new perspective. In fact when jdp left they should never have recast. Let max be presumed dead & repaired gabs w/ Micheal. Cause I really don't like at all this recast max w/ Gabrielle & I think thats why they made Gabrielle a schemer again. Cause jdp & Fiona had imo great chemistry but as I said Gabrielle worked better w/ Micheal & those 2 had great chemistry & such potential. Micheal I thought was such a good character but they kept changing the character. He was def a grey schemer type. Then they wanted to redeem him a lot after eterna then he was really a victim of the switch. Then they had him become this drug launderer & mob lackey then a total pycho would be murderer trying to overdose Brenda & trying to kill Roger & double crossing Jake. What a waste. Micheal & Maria Robert's were 2 Rauch creations that could have stirred up llainview for years. Maria esp given her ties to cord Asa Clint etc & her being cords monster on law to tina! She even had grandchildren through cord. I'd love to have seen her dealing w/ Blair! Lol. Blair never got a mother in law to deal w/ like tina had to w/ Maria. Also many people loved max & megan. I'm sorry but max didn't deserve megan. He was always in some game or chase w/ her. He really treated her badly 2x. The first time he dropped her when he left for Texas. She was willing to give up her career & marry him & help him pull the Texas ranch together. If he really loved her he would have let her come. I get max was in pain losing Steve & needed his space. I wish he just Said that instead of his whole song & dance of he didn't want to put megan through re hauling a ranch & not to give up her career. Max when really locked on a woman was never selfless like that. Anyway he returns & goes on his quest to win her back. Then he was pretty much about fun & sex but never seemed to put megan as a future wife or priority of real seriousness. Then when he started his seduction of Gabrielle he treated megan really Shabby. Megan constantly begged him to go on trips but he wanted to stay around just " to help als mom" when she confessed & was about to go on trial then on trial max treated megan like she was invisible. Then when megan finally dumps him for good max goes back on the chase. I'm glad megan & him parted ad friends at least. When megan ended it for final after max was Chasing her she really looks so defeated & sad. When watching that even b4 discovering how truly magical Jake & megan are esp on badderly I always think in that final break up scene w/ max after the centennial ball " don't worry megan ur true love Jake is just around the corner " like I said they are even better than I even thought. Jake & megan u see once they finally have their first time are all about eachother & moving in together. What I really loved was when megan & lucky ( loved even that trio how lucky & megan vowed to get revenge forever on Johnny dee & the mob for possibly killing Jake when they forced bo to shoot him & how clever & cool that Jake & bo were so in sync for Jake to flash him the eterna metal pendant & bo to aim perfectly at it. What a great great scene! I see now how everyone bonded so well to Jake from their adventures here & why cord risked his life to find Jake for megan. Later everyone wanting so badly for Jake to return. Viki I noticed loved Jake but never really took to max while he was w/ Tina or megan. Even during Megan's relationship w/ max viki seemed rather un close w/ max. Im not saying she disliked max but she didn't really warm to him like she did Jake. What I loved & is so Jake & megan is them discussing their living together in his crummy house or Megan's palatial expensive apt & she immediately says " of course we are gonna live in ur ( impoverished ) house. Later a great call back is megan asking viki when she was dying to describe Jake's house for them which added some levity in viki talking about how they were all horrified by that mess of a house & how Jake had a vision to build it up into their dream home & did it. Anyway that's the charm of Jake & megan & what we would all want not caring if the man/woman we love has the expensive pad but when u love eachother so much it doesn't matter where u live like megan Says to Jake. When u are soul mates it Doesn't matter where u live as long as ur together. So badderly to me had a lot of the last great writing from Rauch of an adventure w/ a group of the cast at a destination away from home. So great seeing bo Sarah megan Jake lucky tina cord & even guests Marco & spring who at least adds to the group & some humor. I always wanted to see how tina could wind up sleeping w/ Johnny dee as I remember how he brutalized her trying to kidnap her & " their baby" & viki turns to Nikki to stop him. I always knew tina slept w/ Johnny who she despised & I'd sorta known she did it to distract him as to save the others from imminent danger. I know it gets really good w/ Carlo soon to be out Johnny obsessing over tins vikis stroke etc so I'm really looking forward to that all coming in 90. Ty ty ty

I was hoping they'd go ahead and break up Dan and Brenda and put him with Andy but I'm getting the feeling this other woman is going to be his partner. Whatever her name is. He rescued her from the river.
Wow another really great episode as baddely has been coming to its climax. Loved Jake bursting in w/ no shirt jeans & a gun. Reminded me of John Maclean from die hard! Lots of tense moments leading up to viki being shot as everyone in badderly start off in a standoff w/ guns on different people. Jake was right saying to blow the lab even if he & cord were not back in 10 min going to save tina. Leave it to Sarah to come busting up to house where the gangsters are & or course megan going a loyal sister follows her. Then poor lucky who is now blindly loyal to megan then follows her. So again leave it to Sarah to mess things up again lol. Falling in the quicksand having a million warnings about prince Roland & she goes to mendorra & gets everyone in jeopardy.
@@ClassicOLTL I'm pretty positive he gets another small role later during Max's gambling story in 94 as a casino pit boss or security or possibly working for rj when he was first going by Jimmy glover the loan shark. I'm almost positive we see him again on oltl during that story. Of course in 99 or so he joins the sopranos as big P lol
Oh I know where I've seen that Laura Jean girl that Dan found in the water. She was the main girl in Silent Night Deadly Night 4: Initiation. I knew she looked familiar. It's funny they build up the Dan/Brenda thing for over a year and then as soon as they get together Dan finds a new girl. I think maybe Dan ends up running off with her the last time we saw him?

Thats Vincent Pastore who has been playing Johnnys non_speaking henchman. He played Pu$$y Bumpenserro on the Sopranos. Great episode!
