I am so glad you said this because I agree with you! I loved Marcia Cross on OLTL. She was only on the show for alittle over a year, but I thought she was great. And I loved her romance (as Kate Sanders) with Cord Roberts!
This was shortly before Robin Strasser left the show the first time. I left the show too for 5 years at this point, only returned when Billy Douglas and Nora (Hillary B Smith) came on to the show in 1992, and then Robin returned in 1993! I forgot about this opening and the inane song!
Do you mean you missed ETERNA? Wow. Lucky you. It was the dumbest storyline ever on the show. It's very telling that the 80s started with Karen and Marco and ended with stinking ETERNA.
I agree with you. I didn't like the show anymore after 1987 ended. I wasn't impressed with that 1888 storyline or Eterna! I loved the Sanders family and it went down hill for me when they left. I hated further the fake Bo storyline. Just reiterated the fact that the Sanders family was long gone. I did enjoy the 1993 storyline about the rape (although it was a bit over the top and melodramatic. The characters of Nora and Todd were a highlight).
Wow I was mad when they killed Diane she was a nice girl when she and Dorian was in jail it was Easter vacation when I watched it with my brother in a party store Hamilton highland park Michigan wow this brings back memories from 1980s thank you to ever download it
omg what a treat! Diane's murder, the lead up to Tina going over the falls and all of those great commercials. I love nestles crunch...mmmm scrumptious! LOL. Thanks for uploading!
i remember all my friends recordered all my children on VCR at noon, but my mother use to be into one life to live and general hospital when i was really little like 4 - 6 yrs old and she was a housewife, then she went back to work fulltime, and i was in school. Later when VCR came out, she would record both shows mon, wed, friday, in high school___class was 8am - 230pm i lived 5 min bike ride home, so i could watch tail end of general hospital and 3pm edge of night from 3 - 30pm miss the good ole days___for some reason one life to live wasnt really popular like all my children or general hospital i think because of the time slot 1pm - 2pm___but it was always my favorite
Interesting that Maria, who only knew Tina about a year by this time, pegged Tina as having a "self-destructive" button. That's been obvious since Tina was in her teens. Sad that more people didn't see that and have compassion towards her rather than vilifying her.
She was on the nose with that one. Vicki Lord was her half-sister. Her husband was a Buchannan. She had NO REASON to get into all of those silly get-rich-schemes she always found herself neck deep in. She was surrounded by money and was NEVER EVER in danger of ending up poor. It was like she enjoyed messing up her life any way she could.
Thanks for the Upload !! XD I love Louise Sorel in this. She took a break from Santa Barbara for 2 years to film This !! Do you have the whole Diane Bristol storyline from 1986-87 ?? Wonderful show !! XD A young Marcia Cross !!
I always expected Jamie Sanders to come back to the show at some point in the 90s. I felt like he could've been semi reformed. Kind of like Todd Manning, where he's still a villain and he's still a scumbag, but he's not constantly holding people hostage and on the run from the authorities. But I guess after TPTB changes in the early 90s, the Sanders family was completely forgotten.
I'm surprised Dorian didn't say "This is DOCTOR Dorian Lord" when she called for an ambulance. Years later, she went back to using her title. Even after losing her license, I have a hard time seeing her stop calling herself one.
She was still a doctor, she just lost her license in Pennsylvania. Yeh, I was glad when she started using her title more in later episodes. She earned that doctorate through years of hard work.
@@CoryraisaEven more impressive when they later explored her background and we found she came from an abusive home and had been out on her own since she was a teen. Kind of explained why she couldn't stand Viki; because it seemed like she grew up with an easy life. Turned out they both endured horrific child abuse. But to go through that and then grow up to be a doctor is even more awesome!
@@fwdthinker: Agreed. I get the feeling that Dorian also grew up in poverty, although it was sanitized a bit in 1997-1998. I have a theory that Charlotte Stonecliffe added to the house to make it larger than it originally was. Dorian's courage and strength is beyond amazing. I'm piecing together fanfics of the characters post-series years and I imagine that Dorian was able to create a peaceful, relatively happy life in DC.
She was sort of Single White Female-esque friend. Dorian took an interest in helping her, and Diane took that to extreme lengths - to be a daughter-figure to Dorian. When she found out Cassie was returning to Llanview (yes, that is Cassie here), Diane started going over the edge. Pun intended.
It's a rainy day and I felt so much like doing what I did years ago being home and watching OLTL. And so here I am!
This was during head writer Peggy O’Shea’s tenure from 1984-1987. Some of OLTL best years.
Best era of this show! Peggy was an oustanding writer! Honoable mention to 1988 and 1989 as well.
I love the 80s.
Marcia Cross, one of the best tv actresses out there! She's phenomenal!!
I am so glad you said this because I agree with you! I loved Marcia Cross on OLTL. She was only on the show for alittle over a year, but I thought she was great. And I loved her romance (as Kate Sanders) with Cord Roberts!
I heard she and clint richie were a couple during her time on the show
And Nicollete Sheridan was on Knots landing too..
I used to love Delilah so much😍
Shoot, I'm enjoying all the old commercials.
I miss those days so much.
I think this was my favorite Cassie besides Ava Haddad
She was latter on The young and the restless later on..
Thanks a billion for posting this Chuck!!!!!! This is the best!
Nice to see Peter Brown and Louise Sorel on the same soap .
your channel keeps gettin better and better. You just brought a smile to my face!!!!!!!

I stopped watching shortly after the ridiculous 1888 story. Didn't start watching again until 1993 with the gang rape story.
You missed a lot of good storylines.

She was a good person. She just got involved with Jamie..!! XD
Interesting clip. I don't recall Louise Sorel having a role on the show. O only sporadically watched the show during this era. Thx for the upload.
Yes she was only for 2 years. From 1986-88 She took a break from her other soap Santa Barbara.. xd
This episode would've aired March 2, 1987, consistent with the Betty Ford Story airing the same night.

OLTL still almost always won its timeslot and was usually in the top 3.
This Cassie was on The young and the restless in 1993 During the Stalking of Cricket Storyline..

Can you do the next episode that follows this- what happens?
It's Max dressed like Jessie from the Toy Story movies for me.🤠

Soap Talk. Now, that’s back in the day if I ever saw it. Also, whatever became of that Oprah person?

No I don’t.
1 life to live lmao
What is that funny bruh. That was the name of the soap opera and it was a great one
