Its Hard to tell, i personally have not seen one, keep in mind there could be certain variables like manufacturer, i recall having a levis vest that was made in Afghanistan and the rivets were silver and the buttons on front were placed on the opposite site( the left side, once you have it on) thought it was weird but because i bougth it from an oficial retailer, i did not doubt it was real plus the fabric material was high quality. So i would say, depends on where you bought it and how much you paid for it, and obviously, you can kind of tell based on how the fabric feels. And that was on a regular red tab just to clarify, my guess is that this could also happen to a premium one as well.

The link shows a light color jacket but the jacket called "new light" which is what it's called is darker in person and the one shown in the video and is the one shown in the link
What are you talking about : 'higher cotton content' ?...what do you think real Levis clothing has been made of since day one?? The reason that it feels softer is that the material has been subjected to some kind of 'stone wash' and chemical washing, much more than the second jacket ,hence also the light blue colour. --Like so many videos on TH-cam ,if you dont know what you are talking about , then dont talk ,and post videos on the subject.

i own premium and standard levis. Its better softer cotton. How exactly....If you care that much ask Levis yourself.
