I only watched like a minute of this. Once I realized you can move the damn tanks I face palmed so hard. I spent like half an hour setting up these fancy rocket shots thinking this was near impossible. Five minutes later, I moved the tanked into a central location and with a few shots of the Gun I was all set.

You can push the boat off the dock by picking up a crate or one of the grey bottles and pushing it against the side of the boat

I was really tempted to do this, but the lack of being able to save & exit prevented me
I can't wait for them to add that feature, I'm scared of replaying maps until then (had it crash a few times and lost 30 - 45 minutes of work each time)
Either way, this was a really fun mission!
you getting crashes? I've had one so far and I think it was the shadowplay feature...
@@GooseUK Unfortunately yes! It took me ~18 hours to beat the campaign and I had 3 crashes. Not often enough to be a big deal, but often enough to make me paranoid! It happens on save or load, and the devs' suggested fix didn't work :(
A work around is after you quicksave you can go into the games files and copy to another folder and exit the game. To get it back, just load the mission up again, quicksave then take the coped save and replace the new one you made. load the save and it will be back. I did this after the game crashed on me twice after I spent over an hour and a half setting up the flood level. I was too angry to even speak when it happened twice!
@@redzeppelin6 After the 3rd crash I started copying the saves to my desktop every few minutes just in case. Because I'm dumb, I never actually tried restoring the saves so I kept up my cautious play style lol

I didn't even think to move the one off the roof or put them on the boat! I moved the others around the dock near the lighthouse, went to the top of it, shot a rocket at the roof one, used the pistol on the ones I moved near the lighthouse, placed a bomb on the lighthouse one, jumped off and ran to the boat. I should try your idea. I like it. I like this mission, but I'll be super pissed if they "patch it" that taking it off the rings blows it up.
Yeah it would be stupid if they did. Moving them seems natural. I also did a run where I stored the ones up top and then had a few on the boat. If they make it so you can't remove the tanks I will be amazed as they really should have play tested it once!
I got 59.9. Could it be possible to get 60 by mashing E more?
I put them all on the boat. lighthouse is tricky but with the right plank placement, it's a breeze. I also didn't use planks on any stairs.
What happened there at 3:48 ?? Looks like you straight up clipped through that door? :)
Will be in a tips guide coming soon, but good spot! Hold down right trigger and walk towards the door and strafe, you will pass straight thru locked doors!
if you stand atop the main staircase you can rocket the lighthouse one quite easily
I somehow managed it on second try without realising you can even move these things. Getting a range upgrade on the gun and making some sightlines just solves this level by itself
I was reluctant to increase the gun range until later, but it would definitely help here... I wonder if you are even allowed to move them or if it is another thing they didnt plan?
@@GooseUK You can still move. In my Solution only moved two of the objectivs. First I set the roof on fire and waited for explodion of first objectiv. Second and thrid I used the Shotgun, "IT-Bunker", "Lighthouse" and "Garden-labor" used rockets from roof-TOP and Harbour and labor I moved to "the streets"/ court and also put a rocket on it. If moving fast and don't wait for rockets getting their goal it takes less than one minute.
P.S. some solutions I put to my channel with "run-only" and no-comment to not totally spoiler the way I prepare the level. So its no guide, its just to give an idea. Moreover I startet playing last week, when it was discounted on steam, so my version is 0.7.2.
PPS: I like your guides. I had to use one on an early-level when I was totally new to the game and didn't know on all game-mechanics!
I spent a long time getting every single tank in a big pile right by the escape boat, using only the shotgun and blowtorch. Blew them all up at once with a single rocket. Ended up with 59.8 remaining time. The post-game cinematic that traces your steps was not happy with me at all.
or, without having to move any of the gas tanks too far from their original position, you can just walk down the map shooting all of em from afar.

I rolled the propane tank on the light house down the stairs and onto the boat, useing the row boat as a ramp
mate I tried for about 3 minutes and though nah... fair play to you!
@@GooseUK its easy, just shot gun the a hole in the floor bigger, and run in front of it occasionally grabing it to slow it down, took all of maybe 60 seconds, only screwed up once with it so maybe 120 seconds Total
@@GooseUK i put my best run up on YT th-cam.com/video/xsv-fpy6U1I/w-d-xo.html , put them all in the boat for a time of 0.1secs tried 5 times no luck that's the fastest I could get smashing "E"

@@GooseUK fyi the only editing i did was to remove the reloads, so its a full run set up and all so a half hour long...LOL
put them all together and did it just right so that I could spam the escape boat and get all of them so it only took me .1 seconds

I just hit the red button on top of the Bombs and it deactivated them, the alarm didn't even got triggered😂

i took them on the stairs no problem, why need for planks xD
I did this in full without realising you can move the tanks and without a rocket launcher 😂
