There's a simple trick to this one! Definitely lots of room for optimisation in the route, but even done simply there will be plenty of time to spare - nice breather after fine arts! Follow this guide to get this teardown campaign mission locked in with all optional objectives cleared, the easiest or only way. I had the first half of the route exactly the same, I feel so stupid not realizing the two were able to be moved. This game has great face palm puzzle moments!
I did not think about moving the objective by the boat dock with the crane! Thats really clever

Interesting way, I did exactly what you do with clustering the three tools together, yet started with the high catwalk one, drove over the marina barn, grabbed it when i had dangling down, then drove over the insode the brick building, jumped out the side to a vehicle, drove over the bridge to the clustered three tools and then ran through the house to the right and into the escape boat, with 15 seconds to spare

Fence Door easy Removal
If you shoot the controller of the slide fence's it'll become a pick up able object that you can move, requires 1 bullet or abit of blowtorch,

I never thought of using the planks to connect things to the crane. that was cool n_n!
The swinging hook on the crane, you can grab it to make it stay still so it makes hooking the planks a tad easier
great guide, I was trying to move that one on the hill with the crane but it kept getting set off, I didn't even consider doing what you did with the boat

Honestly I wondered if planks were kind of not that useful till I found you could tow, now planks are my go to for lots of stuff.
@@GooseUK I've done some, uh... things..... with planks on my 7/8 run on Fine Arts. That said your Fine Arts method was a 24 minute setup one shot run for me.

@@GooseUK Yeah, the game is great and I understand it is in early access still but kind of wish you could save at least one setup per level, especially because it crashes occasionally. A second campaign slot would be nice too as I would like my sister to play through but don't really wanna restart my file that has everything haha
I used the large boat as a bridge between the far bottom right computer, which connects to the warehouse, drove to the briefcase at the power grid and drove to the chainsaw area where I also moved the computers at the dock and the trailer.
Nearly followed this to the letter, but instead of putting planks in the fish barn, I used the gray fish van as a ramp to get up, and drove it straight over to the stairway. Great if you've still only got a few planks, and is a good timesaver. Also, there's a handheld gaming console worth $160 under the half of the bridge by the crane, and a power drill valuable worth $60 in the building with the Jeep. Thanks for the help!

Thanks to your posts, I was able to complete Tool Up faster than I thought possible.
I used your collection of tools at the same start location but differed from there.
I used the big boat to tow the barge (connected by four planks.) I approached the barge from the far side, so no need to dismantle the barge dock. It was an easy run back to the bridge and parked just beyond for efficient crane pickup.
I used the long pieces of lumber from under the first tool for the biggest part of the ramp up to the tool in the tall brick building. I exited the tall brick building through the same hole to grab the van to the far, high tool on the pipes. I rigged a foot ramp with a pallet and a box to easily climb the red crane up to the tool.
I dropped down into the Jeep and crossed the boat ramp with the help of two long pieces of fence (as stunt ramps) to the red metal shed.
I torched the catwalk so the high tool would hang down to grab from floor level. I cut a hole in the metal wall and dropped down into the red speedboat for a quick, straight run to the escape boat. My 5.1-second spare time may be my highest achievement in 2020. :/
Thanks so much for posting your creative approaches to solving these levels. While sometimes frustrating, these problems are much more satisfying to solve than the bigger issues we are all dealing with right now.

That's a decent run that. I'll try it myself when I go back over these after finishing the game, was considering the barge myself, I reckon there are some interesting methods somewhere in the game for this map... Thanks for posting!
@@GooseUK Thanks for your comment. If you are trying some of my tricks, I'll add the following:
When collecting the long pieces of lumber from under the first tool, load all of them onto the big forklift to bring them to the tall brick building in one trip.
After grabbing the tool on the high pipes, I take the catwalk to the next destination. (I like having the railing to keep me from accidentally dropping off.)
I cut off the safety rail at the end to easily drop into the SUV. I assumed the SUV would be better at crossing my home-made ramps across the boat launch ramp.
Car notes:
The red car seems fastest, so I used that for the first, longest stretch of the heist.
I used the van for the next leg. I didn’t mind the slower speed, since it's a short run and I needed the control to NOT hit the pallet foot-ramp at the rear of the crane.
Random note:
When in the overhead view, I noticed a couple of chairs and an object on the roof of the tall brick building. I went underneath and fired holes with the shotgun until the object fell down into the room. It was a telescope worth $450! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be there every time. If I ever re-play this level, I'll check for the telescope before starting any prep and keep restarting until it's there.
Man, I wish the developers would let us save these preps. I'm going to email them about that. I'm sure many others have already said this. It would also be great to trade them with friends. Sim City did that back in the day...
I just use the crane to demolish stuff, cuts through like butter
Ah, I did it backward way! Got radio, drop on yellow van, ride into redhangar, get rods, jump into jeep, ride to the highenergy, jump out, take recharger, jump back, ride long way to the saw with bluecabin nearby, take things, jump to red car and ram into barge, take laser and escape.
Can reduce the weight of the blue cabin and carry it by hands.
And the water scaffold can be crooked down just by powerful hands.
But I did spend a lot of time to clear away all obstructions near red hangar and energy station.
But thing did hanged there to catch them from down floor.
Damn,i didnt know that you can move two targets wherever you want. Still did it tho
Interesting approach. I also got everything, but in a way different order. I started on the south east bit since it is the furthest from the escape boat, then went up the hill where I had the sindes of the building demolished to the point where the target was just dangling off its security wire.
To get back down I also opened the wall and cut the fence, which I then used as a ramp for one of the other cars. Drove that into the big shed with the piece you prepared first, but again just had it dangling off its wire. From there I went out the building the waterside, where I used planks, a boat and the barge to make a bridge to the pier with the boat. Small detour towards the saw and the leftover from the hilltop container and I was out. Missed out on clearing a path through the building.
FYI!!! You can push-pull that blue container off the top level! Just by hand :) Shot gun off the knee high wall, and toss it down :) No need for crane/ plank stuff
Interesting. I didn't think of using planks on the container. Instead, I spent half an hour getting the crane up there with the big forklift.
oh man... that's annoying. Planks become like tow ropes for later game
@@GooseUK The annoying part is, that I know that. I also thought of towing the raft with the container to a boat with planks and drove it to the escape boat. But for some reason, for the container up there, it made more sense for me to get the crane up there too with the big forklift instead of using planks. But I guess that's why I like videos like yours: I do it in a kinda complicated way and then watch someone else show me how I could have done it more efficient :p

Huh. I did this completely backwards. (I admit, with a lot less prep too...) if you blow out the wall you can actually drag the construction trailer off the ledges by hand without the crane. I tried for quite some time to get the crane to work...plank to a plank hadn't occurred to me and so after an hour of fuss I just tried pulling the darn thing off.

I tried to beat it myself, start from walkway, then jump into the car, to the warehouse, electric utility house, and then jump into boat and to the barge, to construction cabin, by office, and then to escape vehicle, but it was too slow and i can't get even to construction cabin. I gave up.
And then i tried your way, and crane sunk when the cabin fell, so it still on place where it fell, and that container too. It still work, 2.5 seconds left.
worst thing happend while in the crane car thing it got stuck in the brige and then i sed okay ill just qwick load it i accendently pressed qwick save and now i have to re do all it again :(

the tools which are inside buildings can simply be reached, by breaking the stairs and benches they sit on and let them hang as low as they can, so you dont have to do any parkour indoors
if this is an easy way then whats the hard way
It took me like 1 hour to do this mission and I finished with only 2 seconds left
